Living as lights in the midst of this dark messed up world how we do it, how far we go. How far do we push back stage for the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution Michael Brown is the director of the coalition of conscience and president of fire school of ministry get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH. That's 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown.

All right, let's put this situation in front of you.

What is the problem. What is the solution you going to a dark room you go to flip the light switch on you. Flip.

But nothing happens is a problem. The lightbulb needs replacing. Pretty simple correct you get mad at the darkness. You don't curse the darkness. You don't rant about the darkness you replace the light. The problem is the light is not working that's wife said for many years. I'm much more concerned with the absence of life were concerned with the absence of light in our society than with the presence of darkness much more concerned about the quality and brightness of the light that is shining them with the intensity of the darkness therefrom, more concerned with a sleeping church than with a sinning society. This Michael Brown welcome to the line of fire. Thanks much for joining us today. Here's number to call 866342 that's 866-34-TRUTH 7884 and a little bit later in the broadcast of the first hour we are going to hear from a courageous 16-year-old woman who has made a clear statement against some of the pro-abortion culture in which she finds herself in particular reacting to teen Vogue. So really hear from her in a talk with her later on the broadcast today to listen to some of her quotes in there there powerful and the second argument he speaking with author Jerry Newcomb about the new book, the unstoppable Jesus Christ both gas have a common theme which is we as believers must stand up to the culture and speak the truth. We as believers must stand up and do what's right when when the culture is going in the wrong direction.

The only right choice you have to make is to swim against the tide of the culture we saved again the culture is heading in the wrong direction. The only right choice is to swim against the tide of the culture and that will put us in conflict with the culture at different points in which case we rejoice because that is why we are here all right bunch of things going on bunch of things I want to talk about money from a couple questions throughout these questions for you. I'm curious to get your feedback and then a bunch of other news related and so talk about and then more about our role here in the world I was I was on Twitter over the weekend and I noticed one woman was responding to some of my tweets and saying all man, Dr. Brown, the world is so messed up and then another tweet and and yeah you know, we just need to follow the Lord and do his follow his ways is Christian, something like that and then another quote man. This is just blank blank blank. Using profanity. This is just really bad stuff except in say stuff and it prompted me to ask this question. Why is it that so many believers today professing believers, professing to love the Lord follow the Lord why is it that so many of them use profanity so freely just a question, I've got some ideas but I put that question out. Why is it that so many professing believers use profanity so freely.

Are you seeing this you experiencing it 866-34-TRUTH and and then why is it totally different question that so many radical animal rights activists and environmentalists are so radically pro-abortion why it was a want to hug a tree save a baby whale save the baby human. I wrote about that in fact is my latest article will be right back. The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown people are motivated. They're paying attention there angry. They want to be deployed. They don't just want to write you a check or write you a partition or send an email they want to be engaged.

They want you want to be protagonists with us so we hear you we open the door to the church and now common. Let's do this together.

We need you to be protagonists is yes, that is the ACLU there launching and nationwide training program on protest and resistance. Obviously they're going to be in opposition to the policies of Pres. Trump. Here they staged in Coral Gables, Florida, and nationwide training event Saturday the richer people aware of their rights as protesters and urged organized public resistance by those opposed to policies of Pres. Donald Trump will bring all the new lawsuits necessary to defend these rights will do the work in the court, you do work in the streets, people are motivated. They want to be engaged friends, let us not be asleep in the light as believers.

Let us, let us not be ignorant to what's happening in the world around us as believers. Let us not be asleep as protest movements increase and people take to the streets with their differences often in ways that are more destructive than constructive, often in ways that are more about themselves than about the larger issues. Yes, there is frustration and loss of the society around us. Let's not downplay or minimize what's happening here. This is not the time. Trust me pastor from silence. No I don't mean that we have to answer.

Street protests street protests but let us get out of our comfort zone and let us speak up and let us stand up and let us speak out and let us stand out. Let us be different than the world and the way that we live the compassion with which we live. The justice from which we live that the clarity with which we live, the courage we went with which we live, the compassionate ISA compassion and seek conviction with which we live. Let us be different than the world around us. The world is getting activated and stirred.

Let us be active in prayer that this be active in outreach that is to be active in standing up and standing out and speaking up and speaking out. If you're waiting for a volatile moment in history where we can make a difference.

That time is now 866-348-7884 that you might say that the question you asked about believers in profanity is a little random it is and it isn't it isn't it is I raise it now on the air because it's symptomatic of the worldliness of the church. It's symptomatic of the fact that we do not walk adequately in the fear of the Lord in reverence for God in the beauty of holiness is relevant in that the world is changing the church more than the church is changing the world. I say that friends as your voice of moral cultural and spiritual revolution. I say that as a reminder that we need to ask ourselves our own moral standards. Our own value system. The things that are important to us or we bring about positive change to our influence or are we being changed by the world about letting me share an illustration with you many years ago before I was a believer. He was a heavy drug user and one particular day, a friend of mine was going to be hanging out we were going to be hitchhiking to a friend's house about all 25 minute ride away. Neither of us drove. At that point he was willing to experiment with a hallucinogenic drug that he had never done before and I in my cruel sinfulness decided to give him more than was a wise amount to do course I took my megadose and then gave some to him so he was pretty out of it as the day went on, I remain yes shameful idiot terms of my behavior. Absolutely, that was me.

Thank God for his saving mercy so we ended up at this guy's house we were hanging out. My friend was still having a hard time dealing with reality around him. He was kind of in a fog. We were hanging out with his friend and he said, listen, spend the night there. He said you gotta go now is the middle of the night. You know Harry could start hitchhiking. Then later there midnight or one of the morning. He said my my mother's boyfriend is coming in here and if he if he finds you guys series.

He's roughly Stice got hurt you pieces of his which I do. He said I got a friend's house is a few blocks from here.

He said and and he's he's got a treehouse yeah treehouse behind the house were going to sneak into the yard you guys going to go up the ladder and stay in the treehouse and then I'll come get you up at dawn when my my mother's boyfriend leaves some imports okay find what else we get to do is get is petrified of the of the boyfriend. It's gonna come in there. You know me the way you describe the guys made of steel is in the rip us apart.

If he finds us so we are in this little Trieste is the city that were both still high on drugs is nothing to do except just sit there and and we could see through the back of the house through a window. You could see little TV was on it so you could maybe watch a little of that you know from the dead couldn't figure out which watching the problem was we were in close quarters. We were within a few feet of each other with this tiny little table between us and my friend was sitting there rocking I'm in picture he is rocking and assert his whole body is rocking in a circle and I'm sitting at right with the guy for hours and I set the stage want.

You gotta stop and you gotta stop your driving me crazy was sit there and rocking like that just just his whole body because he was just out of it on drugs. He was just sat there just one around in the sky.

The mini circle and a psych major stop it.

You drive me crazy. Stop and he did, thankfully, did and on the how we surpass the rest of the time, but then the sun rose and sure enough, this guy named Kevin. He we hear beast coming up that that the latter leading up to the to the treehouse and he comes in. There goes was when you guys because it wasn't like this and he starts rocking in the circular motion. My friend and stop rocking. I started rocking and because I was rocking along with him.

I did notice that he was still rocketing. His issues that day became my issues and I didn't even realize it friends it's it's it's a ridiculous picture from my past yet ridiculous story from from my past, but it illustrates the point that we can sink all we've change society change all of this is we've become more used to it here. Giving an example from before I was saved before I started getting high. I didn't know anybody my high school got high. I heard about it but I do know anyone in the high school that was getting hot and then I heard some consider there some people in high school shooting her with the ship shooting heroin in our school wearing suburbs that know nobody that law that did not in our school couldn't be.

I was outreach to hear that. I started getting high that I started buying drugs more than selling drugs. I thought everybody in the school was getting hot. Everybody I knew was doing drugs and buying drugs for me and this is not that all schools getting high. Yet I was shooting heroin and I knew others that weren't there. I get sailing out wonderfully gloriously dramatically say the end of 1971 beautifully gloriously saved and a few months later I said to one of my friends and also gun save right before me, helping me to the Lord beast use drugs together. Now we were clean and free and I said you know I looks like drug use in the school is really gone down dramatically and he looked up a few crazy what it was like and how those people anymore so wasn't aware of it anymore.

Was aware what was going on because I wasn't part of it anymore. It's so easy for us to mistake what's happening in the world around us. To be misled with what's happening in the world around us, either because we become so like it, we become so immersed in it that we don't even recognize it. You know it's it's like a cigarette smoker is not sensitive to being in a room filled with smoke. It's normal to them but if you have a cigarette smoker you going there you're coughing you come out your your clothes smell like smoke.

You can't believe it but the cigarette smoke is not even aware of it. Sometimes we become like that were in it so much were immersed in it so much. There's much worldliness and compromise and sin around us so many sexual images and so much violence and and and so much profanity and some is degrading of the image of God in human beings and not a lot we just get used to it that that is certainly one thing that happens in another is we live so much in our Christian Bible that we have almost no contact with the sending world.

By all means, as far as sin come out of the world, but as far as sinners go into the world Knesset again. As far as sin, we come out of the world and we separate ourselves to do the will of God as as far as sinners, we go into the world to reach people with the gospel.

So again, my biggest concern is not so much a sending society biggest concern is sleeping Church Road. We come back on to talk about what some are calling a permanent miracle is when the end of the holiday of Purim summer calling this a modern day program miracle trust. Israeli review following the news. You gotta put together the this is absolutely while I care on the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown.

Your voice is more cultural and spiritual revolution.

Here again is Dr. Michael Brown and French were going us on one for each war. Oh, I should mention there was a tweet that I sent out also the week and my friend Larry Tomczak made a point and it inspired me to tweet out. Why is it a baby bump when you decide to have the baby, but a massive tissue bump. If you decide to terminate the pregnancy and I just had an HT hat tip to Larry Tomczak for getting me started on that thought about a day later woman self-described feminist tweeted back Jeff her uterus as if if on the other woman.

I can't comment on this. Of course there tons of pro-life women, so the most prominent leaders through the years, or women.

Many many many many many many many female pro-life voices so there plenty of people with uterus is who are strongly pro-life. But the idea that unless you have a uterus then you you can't comment on this of course is ugly focus be like saying if you're not a Jew. You can't have a moral issue with the Holocaust or something like that. In any case. In any case, I just tweeted back immediately. You have conscience, and somehow didn't get a response. After that, a surprise, no that a surprise at all okay before I get to support social issues, including is it a surprise. Should we be surprised that Pres. Trump has picked openly gay same-sex quote marriage advocate for the NATO ambassador that surprise us. Before I get to that Israel is playing in the world baseball championship. This has teams from around the world. These are professional teams, professional players, it's not like the Olympics where you have to be certain amateur status or in certain of the sports and amateur status know this is for for everybody. You have national teams and of course some of the.

The powerhouse teams Japan Cuba and South Korea with Israel as a team also for Israel. Israel's baseball team right you Israel excels in many things in per capita is amazing with inventions with patents with Nobel Prize winners and all kinds of technological developments, and on and on but when you think of Israel you don't think of Israel as a powerhouse in sports. Yes, great with national defense and things like that but not a powerhouse in sports.

Well; this the poor miracle. If the world baseball classic. Israel is the lowest ranked team in the whole and the whole group right in the room in place for their the lowest ranked team. My friend Ron Cantor ready for Israel. Israel's lowest ranking with the world baseball classic 202 one underdogs they been compared to the Jamaican bobsled team of of Olympic fame and Ron says I'm typing there in the ninth inning at 8:19 AM Sunday morning Israel time and are about to defeat baseball powerhouse Cuba and they did they did be Cuba for one so in the first round they beat the undefeated in the first route that I would be game with the Netherlands and if they beat the Netherlands than they they go on in the tournament. They were ready be a career which was that which was third ranked Taiwan which is fourth-ranked and Holland, which is nice right yeah this is this is absolutely wild. Of when when Ross's water sports minister was Esther she was going to South Korea were Israel's play she was clueless that the event was even taking place and the players and coaches read the book of Esther Purpura before going out and beating Cuba yeah it is a picture of it on on twitter. Nevertheless, deceased sluggers were in the keep the. The young cadet covering and singer Lisa listening, the Israeli national anthem is moving. In addition, according to Jewish tradition. The players read from the book of Esther known as the McGill or from the dugout.

This wild, or what will see which way it goes, but it is a joy to see those things I've immediately ordered another one of these for miracles that would be like life preserving miracle, but this one of those interesting things okay okay back to other issues would sprinkle Trump care Paul Ryan's proposal to replace Obama care island. I don't know how to sort this out. I was no expert on on the affordable care act prison Obama's affordable care act, which became known as Obama care. I am no expert on what's happening with Republicans. Now all I can say is that I was expecting something more dramatically different, but we have to bring some specialists on the Cisco's further, I'm just not the want to comment on Saul until he is, of course, this is big big big big big news, but I'm not the one to comment on it as as for Russia Russia oh JJ clip grip of number nine.

This is Sean Spicer press secretary Sean Spicer who gets confronted where is that here if you think Texas going into store and he gets confronted by the Indian American will play the three in the second but didn't Obama care or trumped of care hey Howard, don't don't know don't know what to make of us. But everything I can tell this is whole Russia flap is this being blown out of proportion.

Now Russia said what are you talking about our folks met with the Hillary Clinton campaign many times this this this normal stuff that happens, don't make any big deal out of it but a check out what happens to Sean Spicer.

He gets confronted was in Apple stores and some store and gets confronted with what happens is about community. Russia is my social health. For a guy I would like your ghosted Apple Store in Washington DC and he gets confronted, she said that his reporter question such a great country that allows you to be here was an implied threat to her citizen ship gets accused of being a racist working for a fascist where where will all these people with press secretary to Pres. Obama. When the Obama administration was putting its spin on the news like every administration does the Obama administration was was restricting the freedoms well plate.

Let's just say was giving preference to certain news sites or liberal reporters in prison Obama was having a private meeting with liberal reporters was the outrage over this book. I got no problem with people you have an issue with Donald Trump just use equal standards and I got and I've got no problem with people having issues with Barack Obama just use equal standards. It's the line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 86643 here again is Dr. Michael Brown hello my name is autumn times 16 and like to talk to you about an article recently posted by Tina about called to get a friend postabortion and since I'm a team. This is directed towards me and I would like to respond.

We are going to hear from this young woman momentarily 866-34-TRUTH 87884.

Let me say this is what must happen. People must speak up and make their feelings known. And nowadays nowadays with social media. With YouTube nowadays every everybody. Everybody must recognize they can have a voice they can have a clear voice and there is an open door to speak up and to speak out will find out more about this article in the moment, but I want you to hear from this young woman, a pro-life teen I JJ Grant grabbed clip number three dear organist speak of not face-to-face, but live over the air momentarily, but let's listen more to what this young person has to say this is autumn.

She 16 years old.

She is a sophomore in the classical conversations program she competes at the national level on the national Christian forensics and communications Association for speech and debate social member students for life of America spends time with a local group working in the pro life movement again. She is 16 could number three number four girl power. Is this really the time for that. I just did my baby's life girl power are they insinuating that girls who celebrate their abortions understand girl power more than girls who regret them or refuse to have and by the way, how many aborted babies have been girls what their rights when do girls begin to have power and how powerful do you have to be to destroy the most helpless of people to me abortion seems like the opposite of girl power is the most invasive and degrading thing that could happen to a girl in my version of girl power is knowing that I am valuable and precious. I am grateful.

I was allowed to live and I want all girls and boys to have that same right. This is a human rights issue, not a girl power movement against 16-year-old autumn she's responding to an article in teen Vogue what to get a friend post abortion. What to get a friend post abortion yet. This is in teen Vogue and she's speaking out.

We had time for one more clip clip number four this is this what you get this so your respond. Go ahead without abortion. Don't buy them a gag gift and disguise it as a celebration treated for what it is a terrible loss. Go sit with her in her grief. Pray for her reminder of God's redemption and comfort her in her suffering for your friendship and promised to help her find healing. No matter what stance you have an abortion should never be treated with such nonchalance as this piece did. If you are considering an abortion. Remember, circumstances change. You will always feel this afraid and there are so many options and resources for you such as adoption. My sister is adopted and I cannot imagine my life without her. Her life is a gift you have the power to choose life and where there is life there is always hope it turns out that that is what you hear from them today. There has been a communication mixup and she will not join us comment on this article myself will be right back for the Expo line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown to the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown. Apparently something that came up.

The family that pulled autumn away.

We may be able to get her on tomorrow will see. But somehow we didn't.

We didn't get that memo to spread out about moments ago sleep like a little more background little more background silk suit. Teen Vogue comes out with an article on what to get up, get a friend post abortion.

Okay and and and they have a list of 10 different things I want to get a friend postabortion. Okay one. All I want to do cozy up with your heating pad. There will be cramps and devil in this heartwarming, hilarious and dangerously fun will be very whitewashed 90s cult classic about the bad girls of Brixton Academy. Okay you laugh you cry, you be proud to have a teenage girl you'll deftly walk away touting Odette Sinclair's signature catchphrase leave that out of. So that's one thing you get a friend postabortion numbers is teen Vogue and in the pro-abortion movement is fighting back against the pro-life movement by getting more aggressively pro-abortion hats that shout your abortion movement that arose in the last couple of years will skip that one with three milk and honey by Ruby Cowher. This inspiring book of poetry tackles everything from heartache to shame, trauma, laughter, and all the myriad of other things that will that life will throw in your path to number four, angry, uterus heating pad by lady bits design number five girl power. This is one of the things that autumn was responding to girl power Is based on my favorite tattoo intelligent important message that only the Spice Girls could deliver. So after woman has her the teenager aborts a baby every she's young and too young to do lots of other things but can board baby.

Teen Vogue is for 13 to 19-year-olds that are girl power. Oh yeah number six of skip that one.

Number seven abortion clinic escorts sign up now that you know all the ways to get through this and you want to make those easier for the next girl and sign up to be an abortion clinic escort this what is what kids are being exposed to okay listen. Many years ago many years ago. I can I say this in a way that I can say it out okay. We knew somebody who knew somebody put it like that. We knew somebody who knew somebody there teenage daughter was growing up and we happen to notice that she was suddenly become very worldly in appearance, things like that. Okay is a friend of a friend of friend of everyone the same right and just as she was ministering to gross young woman teenager. She started to get very very worldly. Remember, remember talking to the folks that knew knew the girl just was not place to do it didn't dinner.

She subscribed to the glamour magazines and the different things in we talk to the folks at knew and said you know you might just want to be careful about what she's taking in because you know 73 worldly effect and stuff and stuff. She keeps getting more worldly keeps getting more sensual keeps taking more close offense of being a stripper know I'm not saying that every girl reads glamour magazines can become strict no no I'm just saying that kids are bombarded with a lot of trash.

All right. Teen Vogue, 13 to 19-year-olds and and this is the trash that's that's coming their way of looking an email with 63 stories promoting abortion. Teen Vogue stories in 2017. It can is that right yeah I can everyone say out loud with me together. Yikes. 2017.

What were only in the middle of March were only limits March 13 and as of 10 as of February 17. Look at this like site news has this article. 63. Teen Vogue stories promoting abortion in 2017 and also promoting LGBT issues federal judge issues injunction blocking about your protections of transgender people January 2 this is what kids are getting bombarded with and trust me and Lester really being raised in a godly environment there more influenced by this than the Bible that they don't read. Let's see what else to get for girl teen that just had the abortion.

We will go back needlepoint give your drown trodden Buddhist protest needlepoint reminder of all the women came before us of all the women of March for you of all those who fought to give her this choice. The choice to teenager to terminate the life of the baby in the womb.

Nine. RB G coloring book. She knows it's free. It pays homage to the biggest champion for rights. The one and only notorious are the GR secular female Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg number 10 love you chocolate box look your best babe know how much you love her and the sweetest way possible. Reach out reach out to to it teen friend that had an abortion absolutely, and they may be hurting enough ready.

The last thing that they give Anita some of it hit them over the head with a Bible but don't don't congratulate them on their great choice and send them some gift to them to encourage their the choice they made in those that have paid the way for them to terminate the lives of babies in the womb by the tens of millions of find a way to speak the truth in love, find a way to say what you've done is terribly wrong but there is a better way. There is hope and forgiveness in Jesus and this too can be forgiven and there can be redemption. So I've heard of students for life there formed in the 1970s under a different name.

Students for life, will create a culture where those most affected by abortion are empowered and equipped to recruit their peers to join our human rights movement.

Save us in the front lines lead local and national initiatives and provide tangible resources while supporting those facing an unplanned pregnancy regarding 16-year-old autumn Bob under what about her.

A couple weeks back on world that daily autumn 60-year-old girl who recently released a video, turn abortion is eloquent direct afraid involved in foreign and smart she is, as the actress organization students for life said Planned Parenthood's worst nightmare. Students for life explains. Autumn is in high school. She's passionately pro-life.

She is what the next generation looks like on the issue of abortion in the abortion industry is going to have real problems facing that down the organization continue to from her Planned Parenthood would be terrified of autumn in the pro-life generations represents an educated, articulate and passionate one generation that cares deeply about human rights and the equality of all people, which extends to the pre-born generation has successfully incorporated the mission to help women facing unplanned pregnancies into mainstream pro-life movement. A generation that is truly fearless in the place in the face of Planned Parenthood and their allies yet so this is friends. What we must do.

We must stand. And we must speak. We must make our voices heard young people you can make a difference. Older people you can make a difference singles you can make a difference.

Married couples you can make a difference of our friends David Jason Benham found that cities for life, and if you just go to cities for life. If you check out what they've done. It's a template and you can do it in your city. It's based cities for life cities. The number four cities for life.ward last year as is these different groups worked together they have seen hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of mothers decide to keep their babies or give their babies up for adoption again. What happens in the city of Charlotte can happen in other parts of the country as well.

Why not speak up. Why not stand up. Yes, we have lots of weaknesses with our president. Yes, there are lots of things we wish he would grow into and be different and and do differently at the same time he is taking a strong pro-life stand.

It's a great time for us to now come together with our grass roots movement with our grassroots prayer with our grassroots activism and to make a difference and to turn the tide once and for all with abortion in America we come back. I want to address that interesting issue.

The interesting issue of why why is it that the most radical animal rights activists and environmental activists are often the most hostile when it comes to the pro life movement that we come back we will file the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the minor fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown friends. You can do it all at the line of fire.orc okay so why is it that often the most radical animal rights activists, environmental activists also strongly pro-abortion. In my article. My latest article personhood rights for needy chimps but not baby humans. I raise the question what reminded me of it was the weekend I was reading a column about an animal rights lawyer Steve Weiss who will argue Agassi to today. Maybe the chimpanzee should have personhood rights skin argument from Manhattan Appellate Division of New York's supreme court.

Is it a person is the law's way of saying that entity is the capacity for rights, a thing which chimpanzees are now don't have capacity for encumbrance to treat them as things destroys them out. I don't know anything about this individual will anything about it. He may be pro-life. I don't know his group is called the non-human rights project. But if if my past experience is correct, more radical the animal rights activists, the more pro-abortion there. In other words, if if I'm right, and whether he is pro-life or not doesn't change the larger story of there is a personhood bill Republican support for, which provides the quote that human life shall be deemed to begin with fertilization and this person adult would would effectively say that that abortion is illegal because the baby in the womb is his person at fertilization and it wouldn't surprise me that someone argument for the personhood of a chimp is also passionately opposed to the personhood bill is why would that be why would that be the case again. I don't know at this particular lawyer where he stands. I do know it with with others are attractive watched it with interest and that the peanut type groups in the extreme environmental activists. Why is it that I look, I believe, is followers of Jesus, we should be compassionate, I believe, is followers of Jesus. We stand for justice I believe is followers of Jesus, we should be good stewards. So I'm all for protecting the environment and I'm all for working against animal cruelty and things like that. At the same time. Here's where we have the big difference with some of these other extremists.

They do not recognize a creator God. They do not recognize as human beings created uniquely in the image of God be positive which number one they do not recognize the value of human life, beginning in the womb. They would put us on a par in certain ways with animals were not so they do not recognize that were created in the image of God. Many of these people would be for euthanasia. Hey, you know horse gets injured to put the horse down the human gets up and put the human down because he'll make that distinction, and therefore that they could fight for you to save Eagle eggs but not not baby humans and then because they don't recognize that God has given us this earth. Yes, we should be good stewards but is given us this earth and yes he's he's given the animal creation to us as well that that for example to to eat me is not something contrary to God's plan at this time in the world so that's where they fundamentally mess up and again that's where culture needs to recognize God first in central many years ago some folks from Greenpeace came to the neighborhood where I live. I can go over my good friends and so the raising money to save the baby whales and he said I'm more concerned with saving baby humans in the left and 1/2 of a surprise. Nope I friends. Make sure you sign up for a newsletter and join our support team at the line of fire that work together to difference living as lights in the midst of this dark messed up world how we do it, how far we go. Michael Brown okay note to self note to each one listening, complaining doesn't do any good. Complaining doesn't change things complaining just magnifies what's wrong with the world around us is messed up. No doubt about it that about culture is messed up. No doubt about it, but each of us can make a difference if we move from complaining bad mouthing.

This is wrong, not strong is not fair. That's not fair instead say okay Lord, here I am. What can I do to make a difference here I am.

What can I do to bring about change, 866-348-7884 is the number to call so I give an example. Case in point Harvard library as reported by T.

Beckett Adams on March 11 on the Washington Examiner Harvard library is circulating a fake news list which of course includes just about every conservative news site. Adams writes a few conservative critics predicted early on that the recent obsession with fake news would lead eventually to right of center newsrooms being lumped with the bad actors looks increasing like those critics were onto something. Harvard university's library website currently features a page titled fake news misinformation and propaganda who get the fake news misinformation and propaganda.

The page URL even has the word fake in it and and what's listed as false and misleading. What's listed as fake news the Washington Free beacon independent journal review the daily caller and the Washington Examiner are all on the list each tag with derogatory labels including click bait bias unreliable political recombination of the fourth list also includes conservative commentary sites like the blaze red state and the weekly standard. Fox News is not included in the database legacy media organizations clean the Washington Post. Your times are also excluded from list.

Despite that, they've bungled several recent trumpet related quotes groups and it goes on online database link by Harvard's library features a handful of well-known left-leaning new sites including raw story and think progress, however several below little several notable left of center newsrooms including mother Jones Fox.com media matters nothing poster conspicuously absent and on and on it goes okay. There's further data in the Harvard library commenting on this or Merrimack College assistant Prof. Melissa Sim dollars to help compile this.

This is being misrepresented by the press and others. Of course Washington Examiner challenges that I bring that up to say this.

A perfect example of what appears to be something wrong, something unjust, something misleading, something propagandistic in the name of exposing propaganda so it's good that Adams exposes this and addresses it on the website that he is writing for the Washington Examiner. What we must do is get truth out his simple task. Get the truth out and dispel the lives get the truth out. Let the light shine and that will dispel the darkness. Don't bellyache about how wrong things Arnold complained about how wrong things are addressed what's right and do what's right and we can and will Shane is also hard isn't the frustrating, challenging her plan by the Expo line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown your voice and more cultural and spiritual revolution.

Here again is Dr. Michael Brown provided an update on earlier story. People talk about a poor miracle in Israel winning four games.

There were 201 underdog in the world baseball classic and South Korea winning four games reading Taiwan, beating Cuba being in Netherlands beating Korea I think as well. So the big game, though, was against the Netherlands now to see who would go on into the next round and I just didn't set it and realize they're playing today. It is still poor. So much for the poor miracle Israel lost 12 to to the Netherlands today. Now so much for the poor miracle hey it was good while it lasted right for flicks could follow lasted congratulations to Israel. Anyway, congratulations in the lungs from moving. But whatever happened now that they're both on 711 are the eliminated. I'm not sure. Maybe the store is no right. I thought this was the deciding game but on the other hand, Tim TiVo got his first hit in spring training with the Mets. Yeah, his first hit what you know 866-34-TRUTH so so let's let's look at how skewed things are in our college campuses where it talks about education tomorrow, but let's take a look at how skewed thinking of if young people is how twisted things are and indent rather than complain circuit we are working out. We've got to do something about this and will get to go to the University of of University of West Madison okay got all the quotes in front of me. All right.

Clip number six. These are students of the University and there there asking questions okay so there's there's a dress designer dress designer who opted out of designing dresses from a lot of you trump this is that okay this is that is acceptable and that there were termite and ordinance about discrimination and religious discrimination things like that so they can be asked if you question so so here's the first one there is a dress designer that opted out of designing dresses for Malia trump is that okay is that except present violate the discrimination ordinance. Clip number six. Do you think that she has a right to do that yet.

Yet when you think it's okay for her to do that you should be able to control her business in that regard. I asked the disaffected company's choice right and it's a free market. That's what most conservatives want anyway so the thing that she has a right to do that. That just absolutely so you have the right to opt out of business and you might not want to associate yourself with yes you absolutely sure and by way of course, University of Wisconsin in Madison Art so yeah, I agree with them, dress designer does not want to design dresses for money trump that's her business for her to business helps her business. That's her business, but she has the right to settle unwanted just like a designer would've had the right to sound like a design design dresses for Michelle Obama that in like presidents policies that they could find. It's your prerogative to help you. So if you hurt yourself you deal with public opinion. But that's your prerogative, your company operate according all right, so now the question comes up of Seyfert for some is a Muslim, all right Muslim singer. This is clip number seven what what about a case like this, so if you are, let's say, a Muslim singer here in Madison and a church approach you for Easter service for you to sing. Do you have the right to opt out of that yes, yet many of the opted of the right to opt out of doing what everyone ever goes against your religious views. I feel like you're very turned on is actually city ordinance that would allow those groups to Syria by opting out by turning down there. The request to think that's a good law, probably not. Do you think that's an okay law. I don't believe so. No, that's my favorite residence people's rights. Primitive do you think that a law should exist that would force somebody to do the work. Absent all right agree absolutely what you say sue a Muslim Muslim singer Christmas and Easter service in sue the Muslim kidding me as an ordinance that supposedly back that we cannot recommend nonsense is, is that the students the other there right this this goes back the something is 2015 note. No I'm sorry know this is a yet this is a micro aggressions. Okay, it's another the sorry to confuse the right number eight so now Christian photographer in Madison.

Same thing Christian photographer and their approach someone wants to do the same. Six.

When a member they said design dresses for Malia. No, no, they don't want to do it. They don't have to do it can force and do it.

Nothing wrong with that Muslim singer asked to asked to do sing at a Christmas event and Easter events in Christian events of some kind.

Knowing Sue, this is a bit pursuit of refusing of course not. Obviously religious rights. Reagan oppose that others obviously right click, number eight so so you're a Christian photographer here in Madison and someone approached you to do a same-sex wedding would would not be able discriminatory to opt out of all do you have the right to do that in that situation probably not because that would bring up some legal issues. I suspect like a city ordinance or as the one that you didn't agree with the switch site Christian users of things they would feel they do that and also I think it should be like air all around. I think it's very difficult to determine what reason it is that you make that decision unless you're very steadfast in their religion thing know this is wrong, in which case that the engineer project fitting that such a sticky issue sticky issue is then amazing is not amazing is not a sticky issue for Muslim they can ask the same question a Muslim with a same-sex wedding what what if that Muslim was asked to photograph a same-sex what it said no I can't because my religious beliefs. That's not sticky that's not sticky but once a Christian at sticky and not only so, the idea that okay offending money trump say when I committed to business with trumps your prerogative, right saying that you can't ask similar from one religion to participate in another religious event. No problem. But when it comes to same-sex issues. Every body must bow down to that everybody must bow down to that. You cannot offend, no, no, no. So where does that leave us his releases ready, it leaves us with the society that is messed up it leaves us with a society that is twisted in its thinking it leaves us with the society that has exalted LGBT quote rights over freedom of speech, conscience and religion, just as many have warned for years I've been one of those many who has more so I I am not going to say here.

I told you so.

I told you this was coming.

I must say I told you that this was coming and now if you don't believe me, it's a little late to get in the game so better to recognize what's happening and act on it. So how I act on where ever you find yourself work every you find yourself in society with your parent with an educator whether you're just working your job with your seven posting on Facebook with your kid going to high school. Whoever you are, take your stand. Whoever you are expose hypocrisy. Whoever you are, expose darkness, whoever you are, shine light, whatever you can do speak truth there enough of us that if we do it the tide will turn especially if we do the one thing that's the greatest thing we could do of all, which is pray and not pray like the sky is falling, but pray like we have a God who sits enthroned. We have a God who rules and reigns as King.

We have a Savior to him all authority in heaven and earth is given.

Therefore, we stand and we speak. Therefore were not ashamed.

Therefore, not afraid.

Therefore, we are bold and we know that ultimately that the greatest harm anyone could do to us is only to promote us into God's heavenly kingdom. Therefore goal for human opinion or consequences like that because we love the Lord and we're here to take life were he to give life were here to bring life we are pro-life in every sense of the word, but our lives are given over to do the will of God because of cost or consequence if things are messed up you here tomorrow even more messed up than we realize, but we are here to be agents of change that's on the radio.

That's right right speak, we are feeding the ages of UN part of the team. The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown get into the line of fire now by calling 866-34-TRUTH here again is Dr. Michael Brown thanks friend for joining us in the line of fire, 8663 for eight 784 a few minutes I'm going to be joined by Dr. Jerry Newcomb and we are going to talk about his new book, the unstoppable Jesus Christ of them looking through the manuscript. It's got incredible endorsements and got some great, great stuff. So were going to be talking to Dr. Jerry Newcomb shortly.

All right present trump, of course, the nation continues to be tremendously divided over Pres. trump. I think he's done a tremendous amount of good and other areas where I have concerns and I'm not alone in feeling that way now. Now, in point of fact, in point of fact, there were things he's doing that are important and that are right say in the pro-life movement say in the. The nominating of Judge Neil corsets in various other stances he's taken. He's deftly taken steps in the right direction and is staying with his campaign pledge and I believe has become pro-life changed his views changed over the years. I believe that at the same time you see that he is not strong on gay issues and LGBT issues. On the one hand, the Department of Justice reversed the ridiculous transgender activism of the previous administration put into practice the last year of Pres. Obama's presidency on the other hand, the fact that he had an openly gay friend speak as an openly gay man at the Republican national convention and and now is Pete P. LaBarbera reports on life site. News of present trump is chosen open homosexual and gay Christian advocate Rick Grenell to be the US ambassador to NATO.

According to several news reports department not to confirm or the White House would make Grinnell the highest ranking open homosexual serving in the trump administration of Grenell 50 is a foreign is Republican foreign policy expert, former spokesman for three US investments in the United Nations from 2001 2008 and Fox News contributor so a lot of things I'm sure going for him, that are positive. These also gay advocate/site news reported after he was floated from ambassador to UN a job that eventually went to South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley Grenell advocates for homosexual marriage is a conservative issue.

He criticizes loud religious rights activists who oppose homosexuality and touts trumps uniquely pro-LGBT credentials as Republican. He was an early trump supporter and LGBT issues. Trump is disappointed. Social conservatives by a series of actions that include reinstating Obama.

Executive Order forcing contractors to have pro-LGBT Q policies etc. so it again. Mixed signals of February 3 podcast with Fox news reporter Shannon Brandy said I am gay. I am a Christian I am still a man of faith, he said I know I was born this way so once again, once again you have something mixed coming from the president why why the white race, that while I mention it I mention it because we cannot look to him to do with the church must do.

We cannot look to him to bring about the changes that we know that we need to bring about. We we cannot look to him to to be anything other than the president and we pray for him to do what's right. We pray for him to listen to godly counsel that surround him, and we recognize at the same time that he is a man with clay feet. He is a man with clay feet. He is a man with mixed convictions and that he still has either a blind spot when it comes to this when it comes to LGBT issues either has a blind spot or she has a very different view of these things or he still has not worked out what to do when the conflict arises between code, gay rights and and religious rights.

My here is my hope and I've done my best to communicate this to people close to the president and vice president Pentz. He is good have to realize sooner later that the conflict will come, he must plant himself firmly on the side of religious rights which will ultimately be for the best interest of America and according to her history. The only possible way to go on these issues and he's got to realize that unless he absolutely comes against fundamental Christian rights and lessee ultimately ultimately comes against our freedom of conscience or freedom of speech or freedom of religion. Gay activists will not be happy and lessee adapts that the radical transgender activism of Pres. Obama and unless he pushes with Pres. Obama was pushing things and maybe even more, maybe more. He will not satisfy gay activists and I'm hoping that at a certain point, he realizes that I'm hoping this employee understands that nothing is ever enough in that respect, in which case you can wake up to the point that we have been making that those who came out of the closet will not be satisfied until we go in the closet. So what's the simple lesson for us. Were not going in the closet with the simple application we are going to present our case even more clearly we can present their case for marriage or case for family or case for life. Beginning in the womb were going to present our case for how to raise kids and how to be married and we have to get our own act in order to do it better in my book outlets to the gay revolution just got my copy of it last week.

The Korean edition of it came out in the fall 2015 states just translated into Korean in conjunction with a major conference that just took place their major national conference on these issues. One of the points I make is that if if we will live out God's principles for marriage for family if we will celebrate gender distinctions as intended by God if we will speak the truth in the midst of lies. If we will determine to write the last chapter of the book and others were not throwing in the towel when the spirit the book of Esther.

Mordechai is not bowing down, then we will see change, why because God's ways are best because God's ways are ways of life and the more I focus on me, less healthy, I'll be the more focus on God healthier will be the more focus on what's important to him the service of others. The more enrich my life will be the more I focus on what I want what I need.

I have to have the worse it's going to be for every body around me. And the worst can be for me as well. It may not be like that immediately, but inevitably that will happen. And if we will give ourselves to a culture of life's pro-life.pro-abortion a culture of marriage, culture, family celebrates an honest singles of the contribution of signals but recognizes God's ultimate intent is for marriage and family, and reproduction, and nurturing. And that is the. The environment in which culture thrives. If we give ourselves to that and live by those principles will outlast other revolutions, the abortion revolution. The gay revolution and more people find life and hope and transformation right back during the Expo line of fire with your host activist, author, international speaker and theologian Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution get into the line of fire now by calling 6643 here again is Dr. Michael Brown my friends for joining us today on the line fire my guest, Dr. Jerry Newcomb has written a new book on stoppable, the unstoppable Jesus Christ. Jerry's been on with me before he serves as the senior producer and his on-air host economist for D.

James Kennedy ministries is produced or coproduced more than 61 hour television specials that have aired nationwide. The author or co-author of 28 books and II got a copy over the weekend of his newest book, the unstoppable Jesus Christ. It's it's got great praise from from many David Limbaugh and William Fetter and Matt stave her in quite a few others and immediately I was drawn into the book, so I thought we got to get Jerry on to talk about this. This is this is how we live. This is what our attitude should be, as believers in this day and age in our culture, a jury welcome to the line of fire.

Thanks much for joining us today our thank you Michael. It's great to be argued again. Jerry you start the book.

I thought it was a typo about the unstoppable Jesus Christ and I said I don't know you meant, unstoppable, unstoppable what what prompted you to write that chapter what's the event that sparked it fact it was the initial working title of the whole book would be on stoppable Jesus Christ. What happened specifically a few years ago people might remember there was a college you happen to be in our area here in South Florida where a professor actually asked the students in the sociology type class take out a sheet of paper write the name Jesus on that sheet of paper, put it on the ground. Now go ahead and stomp on that sheet of paper that was a unexercised and there's one Mormon student. God bless and we don't agree with Monaghan doctrine, but this boy had courage and then I appreciate what he did. He number one.

He refused to do it and then number two. He let people know what was happening in this particular class afterwards and initially the school supported the professor and academic freedom is over. Then later, at the whole world heard about it, so to speak, they really know, Domino what was the point and and out.

I wrote a column about it at the time called the unstoppable Jesus Christ. One of the points I made in the columns. Could you imagine if that professor had said okay now write the name Mohammed write the name Allah on a sheet of paper not put on the ground to go ahead and stomp on it initially by the remnants of stupid assignment. I don't even understand what they were thinking in the first place.

But the that's kind of the way it is in America, but I use that opportunity to say hey look, let's look at the big picture here folks in the big picture. Jesus Christ was predestined to wind to win an elective example after example in the if I made one of my favorites comes from William a Buckley Junior who we want time he was asked to not to moderate a debate but just give some opening remarks at a debate between a Christian scholar of the Bible, specifically the Gospels and Jesus and a liberal, essentially anti-Christian scholar of the same answer when a bill Buckley said if during the course of this debate. The skeptic disappears in a puff of smoke right up there on stage, but rest assured Jesus up in heaven has just cleared his throat. You know, our estate, but it's true. I mean I give another example. I said that. Look at how in the slavery does evil institution in America and while the the plantations that had the systemic evil of slavery. Those are long gone with the wind and yet there were songs of praise is born on those plantations from the slaves themselves, as in the initially called Negro spiritual. Now American spirituals and daughter are still with us. Were you there when they crucified our Lord dinner that sets still song is in is (amazing, I will be right back with such genuine unstoppable Jesus Christ how your faith can cry am in the world meant to do.

We still believe that our faith can triumph the line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown voice of more cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown my friends for joining us today. I'm speaking with Dr. Newcomb new book, the unstoppable Jesus Christ how your faith can triumph in a world gone mad. Jerry let me play the.

The pessimist advocate for moment you know me well enough to know that's not my real heart for mindset but you were there in the heyday of Coleridge ministries with D. James Kennedy, you were there to see evangelism explosion you were there to see rising more majority released you even intersected with some of these things. There was a sense in time passed a vote of the momentum of positive change of America shifting. It seems that things are hell-bent in the opposite direction. Now why should we be so confident when it seems like everything is going against our beliefs and convictions. These days well better know good question. I fact I think there certainly there's progress and then there's regrets. A lot of times when you think about the kingdom of God on earth. In terms of the advancement of the Christian gospel. Much of it is happening in other places in other countries, but in America I think there's still a lot of things are happening even under the radar and certainly the the high places. I think you can use that phrase not and I don't mean it in the biblical sense but I'm in the major areas of of our cultural. Whatever the stronghold certainly the enemy seems to have a strong hold on all these different areas.

And you're right it does it does seem discouraging. And yet, despite it all, that there's still some positive signs you know that the Lord is it working if given nothing else in the hearts of individuals. If you look for example at look for the Christians at the time Jesus left this earth is 120 people right when he he ascended into heaven. Hundred 20 before Pentecost right and there were 11 disciples, down from 12. The loss of one Judaism right to trade the Lord you but and then you project that you know five years later, 10 years later you see progress, but you also see regrets when you see jumping, but I had about 20 or 30 years later you see incredible persecution and already Christianity is starting to be mentioned primarily by an historical ways, but primarily because of the anti-Christian persecution taking place against the Christians and yet that's the way in which historians today can verify. Oh my goodness, look at the explosive growth of the church and then you jump forward about two or 300 years will obviously 300 years later you have a Christian, Caesar, finally. Or at least the Caesar who claims to be a Christian and the person of Constantine and makes it legal. I mean the, the early Christians could never have imagined that so it is always this kind of progress and redress in progress and regrets then you jump ahead. Let's say in the second quadrant of the four quadrants since becoming a Christ to the present time records 500 units each thing that second quadrant, Kenneth Scott F the great, the Yale historian of of church history believe he was a Christian any D died on or about 50 years ago. Anyway, he, he said, man, if you were looking at that second quadrant when Islam arose you would almost think that Islam was the future and not here and not Christianity, but eventually the church you know over overcame Islam and even now some people are saying.

Although Islam is destined to become the most popular religion in the world either of you saw the report recently for telegraphing Robert Spencer about that.

I only have your show when he said these are well first of all, when you can have polygamy and you can have 36 children out of the average Christian family compete with that they're winning in the bedroom. For one thing, but but that factor doesn't take care of those statistics don't take into consideration other things such as you know, the fact that there are ways in which God is at work. Look for even in the Muslim world that most people don't hereby like the dreams and visions of Jesus son of Mary Esther Ben Miriam. This is reported so widely exhibited in Indonesia do not even doing census reports anymore of religion, because that that nation is the largest Muslim nation in the world and yet so many people apparently have become Christians out of a Muslim background in Indonesia that it's embarrassing to them yet. So there are ways in which Jesus is at work. We just don't happen to see it you know Kim is not up front and center. We tend to feel a lot of the bad that yeah and that's why it's so important to point this out. And I commend you for doing it. In fact, I just was at a conference where a couple was speaking and they work with with persecuted Christians in the Muslim world and their talk about the phenomenal growth of the church in Syria of all plan market Syria area. Yeah. And of course one of the places where where the gospel is pretty most powerfully is Iran and in the midst of of Muslim Russian yeah yeah so so and, in point of fact, God is at work in India we we have reason to be concerned but we see evil in the world. We see the rise of radical Islamic things like that.

We see Christians losing their values, but the whole idea of you throw your hands up in panic and oh no, I just tweeted out we shouldn't pray as if the sky was falling, but is if there is a great God enthroned in heaven and that that's part of what you seek to get across in this book.

So the first part of the book apart one, Jesus Christ, and and you go through history you go through his his death and his resurrection and and you exalt Jesus and now begin to move into aspects of culture so Hollywood in the media what you take up now and this the second part of of the unstoppable Jesus Christ well different you realize of course this book is essentially several of my columns put together and so I put together the ones about Hollywood and the media and their various warnings, but overall they showed it that most American audiences really prefer, you know, moral and even Christian themes in the movies intent bears actually documented that in his publications on movie guide MMA. I talked about some attempts to even possibly slander in the movies George Washington. One example of Jesus Christ. In another example, and so I just show that that threat exist, but in the meantime, most people even normal people want good and moral failure, and amen I even had a column on descriptor courting a sign that your nuts because a lot of times it seems as if you see somebody on TV or in the movies and according Scripture. This is a crazy person but general encounters about I knew a guy that according Scripture all his life and he was the most wonderful person you could ever meet, and thankfully the Hollywood stereotypes are not true so it's it's so interesting. On the one hand, America's bombarded by so much pollution from the media. The young people bombarded with such an assault on. Often the families values the schools hitting so hard in this and yet you have many people say we don't we don't like all this, the sexual stuff we don't like all the violence we don't we don't like you know that the breaking down of gender distinctions and things like that. There's something gospel within us and there's something some of the gospel in our society that that is pushing back.

I totally agree.

And that's part of the whole point of this book is to bolster people with good news based on facts I reserved for example, I have an article in here on the alternative media will Dr. Brown you're part of that alternative media in a very major way and I strive to be part of that alternative media and it's a real lifeline. In effect, I give some extreme examples, but from the Nazi era, especially in the Norway were my wife. My wife is from and her relatives become nuts but I'm always interest when we go and visit her family and I learned more stuff about when the Nazis took over the country in five years 1940 to 1945 and all the ways the Norwegians provided resistance to the Nazis is very encouraging and to me it alternative media is like that resistance movements in Norway and it's providing the truth, you know, in an age where there's so much false propaganda going around interesting and and Jerry, what else consults find in the insult of Jesus Christ.

What what other headings do you have Rutgers a whole section on the Bible and some of the attacks on the Bible and some of the claims that some of the scholars make against it that are false and we have a whole section about the church in another section. Also about Christmas and that we also have a section about Islam a very lengthy section about Islam because I think Islam is certainly the biggest threat. I think ultimately to to the Christian faith in ultimately and in my opinion, and I also have a section on Christian history and there's a section on death as well because Jesus Christ conquered the grave. That's our ultimate enemy, the ultimate ultimate his death, and the Jesus I think of that as well. Amen. He has geriatrics is these articles together the unstoppable Jesus Christ by the then you can hate great having him here. Thanks for joining us. Thank you all right. The line of fire with your host Dr. Michael Brown. Your voice is more cultural and spiritual revolution. Here again is Dr. Michael Brown. I am going to address some I have rest. Many times appropriate to do. I am not discouraged.

I am not that hopeless, not ready to throw in the towel on that ready to quit on any front.

Because Jesus is Lord, because God sits enthroned in heaven because what God has promised will come to pass and one day this earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas. It will happen one day friend and foe alike. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus the Messiah is Lord, to the glory of the father that will happen. There will be an ongoing great harvest of the nations. The Holy Spirit will be poured out upon people from every background, there will be a massive training of Jewish people to the Lord. These things will happen as surely as God is God, they will happen when you live with that reality. How can be discouraged about a temporary setback today. Let's just say you you had seen the final score of the Super Bowl game right. Let's say you are an ardent New England Patriots fan and you had seen the final score of the game and saw that the patriots won in overtime, and you knew that as you're watching the game the more lopsided it got. What was it Atlanta 28 three or something like that. I mean if if you put money down. Then if you just watch the game live in some of the bed on the patriots winning but a few minutes left in the third quarter and and no teams ever come back from 114 down another 25 down with with with little recorder left. Emily is no way that was impossible anything like that can be considered not not even countenanced. Obviously obvious, but if you ready you read in the newspaper in the patriots amazing comeback win in overtime at an end but didn't get a chance to see the game and you watched from beginning 10 you'd watch it with a very different attitude you think how do they come back when did they come back.

How the world of this happened, but you wouldn't have the attitude you would've had during the game, which is all know all and all work at this is crazy. I can watch this anymore. How many times how many times have maybe if your sports fan. Have you been guilty of turning a game off because there is no way your team was going to win. Turn it off. Forget it is too late. You know it's over and you can't bear to watch it anymore only to find out that your team made an amazing comeback. I members of as a boy. The New York Knicks were on a winning streak and believe I was listening to the game on the radio and they were down like five points with Otto. 15 seconds got whatever it was, I set off forget this and then next day I hear you list winning streak continued with a note and continue they lost last night. I knew they lost what they may want these crazy comebacks in the last few seconds so my point is if you if you knew that in advance. It would collier attitude right if if you if you got a diagnosis of terrible diagnosis with someone very close to you and the family and they were diagnosed with cancer and the doctors don't give you much hope that's a terrible blow, and that's your whole world can collapse at that moment. And even if you know the Lord. It can be a terrible blow to hear something like that but but if I could show you pictures of you and that love one 30 years from now, enjoying life together with health and vibrancy is like and how we get through because obviously we got through it because it's 30 years in the future and were both healthy and vibrant. So when you have that certainty of the future it. Whatever your attitude would be if you got that report from the dock. It's like all my the serious but I know there's a solution. I know God is going to help us look we don't get delivery from every difficulty people do die of cancer. Believers suffer like other people in this world understand that, and yet there is a fundamental confidence by which I live. For example, next week doubling next Thursday night and debating an Orthodox Jewish lawyer on the question is Jesus, the Jewish Messiah and it seems to be widely advertising Jewish community of greater Atlanta.

I'm thrilled with this can be Kennesaw State University near Atlanta and thrilled to have the opportunity I I can't predict with good happen in advance of never debated Osher Norman don't know what to expect.

Aside from annuities written. I do my best to prepare and my goal is not to shine as a great debater, but have Jesus shine as the great Messiah and Savior but II can't tell you what's can happen in the debate in advance. I can't tell you was good happen to the Jewish list is that but I do know ultimately I can't tell which you haven't Osher Norman himself, but I can take ultimately that the name of Jesus sure will be revered in the Jewish community worldwide that the day will come at the survey by the end of this age and hopefully with increasing measure before with the name of Jesus issue, instead of being reviled will be revered. I know that as surely as I'm sitting here talking to on radio right now because of that I live with a certain hope in a certain confidence so I want to encourage you to have an attitude that is one of light not darkness the darkness in all its fearful the darkness is hopeless darkness is to but light shines there is confidence in the life there is confidence we we gaze into the light and that light now illuminates everything around us.

That's why Jesus in John 91 when he sees the man born blind. He doesn't see it is who Cindy sees it as an opportunity for God to be glorified through healing the man went when Lazarus dies, he doesn't see this is as it is a point of despair. He sees it as an opportunity to glorify God through the raising of Lazarus from the dead and faculty sick better.

They dies you to be raised from the dead, for the greater glory of God the mentality of the light sees the obstacles the hardships the difficulties as an opportunity through which God can be glorified with me on that.

So let us have the attitude of life in the midst of darkness friends. Let me be an encouragement to you.
