That's betterhelp.com slash positive. You're listening to the J.R. Sports Brief on CBS Sports Radio. All the NFL fans are going to be convening in Kansas City. They're going to be talking about barbecue.

They're going to wait for their loser-ass team to pick a new player that will hopefully bring them out the toilet and everybody will hopefully go home happy. Anyway, I'm thrilled. I'm happy. You want to know who else is happy tonight? The Atlanta Hawks because they avoid elimination. The Hawks beat the Celtics.

You want to know who else is happy? The Denver Nuggets and their fans. Minutes ago, the Denver Nuggets beat the Timberwolves, knocking them out of the postseason, winning their series against Minnesota 4-1.

Do you want to know who else is happy right now at this second? The Phoenix Suns, they are moving away from the Clippers, 109 to 91. Seconds left here in the third quarter. Clippers, they went on a stretch where they didn't score a point for about two and a half minutes. The Phoenix Suns and Booker, he just got hot.

Devin Booker is currently sitting on 41 points. Looks like the Clippers will be eliminated. The Minnesota Timberwolves have been given the boot. And the Hawks, they're the only team tonight, a full elimination-type night. The Hawks are the only team that just stayed alive.

Trae Young knocking down a big three. Janet Jackson, she had a Wednesday and a Thursday night concert. Janet Jackson, they got to do her concert now on Friday night because the Hawks are going to be playing at home. And it looks like by the time we finish up with tonight's show, on Saturday, we're going to have the Phoenix Suns going to Denver for Game 1 against the Nuggets. Elimination night. Looks like the Hawks will be the only team to stay alive unless, unless the Los Angeles Clippers have some type of magical fourth quarter run in them. The third quarter is officially done. 1-11 to 94, the Suns lead the Clippers a quarter away from winning this series in five games.

Let's see what takes place. We're going to talk about Trae Young and his big threes. He hit quite a few of them, including the game winner.

We're going to talk about that in a few minutes. Let's talk about the team that did get the job done tonight. The Denver Nuggets just knocked off the Minnesota Timberwolves seconds ago, minutes ago.

The final score, 1-12 to 1-9. Nikola Jokic had a triple-double, 28 points, 12 assists, 17 rebounds. Jamal Murray, he had 35 points. And the Minnesota Timberwolves, Anthony Edwards, oh man, he's been killing it.

29 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. He is, he's a special player, man. Over the last four games, taking on the Nuggets, Anthony Edwards averaged 35 points, two and a half blocks, two steals, 50% from the field.

He's been killing it. Oh yeah, Anthony Edwards, Anthony Edwards is a baby. Anthony Edwards doesn't turn 22 until August.

What the hell is Anthony Edwards going to be in a few years? Not playing with Karl Anthony Towns, I know that damn much. Karl Anthony Towns, one of six from downtown.

Anthony Edwards, not too much better, despite another amazing game. He was 0-6. And there's going to be plenty of discussion about the Timberwolves. This is the team that traded for Rudy Gobert. And they didn't just trade for Rudy Gobert, they said, here, take me now. They gave up four first round picks for Rudy Gobert. They gave up NBA players, rotation pieces for Rudy Gobert.

Malik Beasley, Patrick Bevely, Walker Kessler, Jared Vanderbilt. Four first rounders and an opportunity to swap for Rudy Gobert. Tonight, he had 16 points, 15 rebounds and 0 blocks. Way to go, Rudy Gobert.

Somebody should get fired for that one. The Denver Nuggets, I told you about this triple-double by Jokic. A big deal. At one point in time, the Minnesota Timberwolves were leading the game by 15 points. Jamal Murray, he had 35.

Jokic had 28. They got busy at the end of the game. I want you to listen. Jamal Murray decided, hey, it's the fourth quarter.

It's time for me to earn my cash. He decided to knock down a three to give Denver a three-point lead. Behind him to Murray. Five on the clock here. Murray one-on-one with Alexander Walker. Step back three.

Yes! Such a hard shot. Jamal Murray, 34 in the game. Denver leads it by three.

Denver kept on rolling. Nikola Jokic, he doesn't look like a basketball player, but he's a damn good one in the MVP conversation, which will almost certainly go to Joel Embiid. Shout-outs to Paulo Boncaro. This man won Rookie of the Year. Side note, we'll be talking about the Magic next year. Nikola Jokic, he got busy down low. We know he can't jump, and so he actually got a tip-in. He helped give the Nuggets another lead late in the game, pushing them ahead, 106-104. Nikola Jokic back over to Jamal. Top of the key over to Jokic. Jokic guarded by Gobert. Back to Murray. Murray right side over to Porter.

Now at the nail. Jokic drives in. Jump shot won't go. Got his own board.

Put it back up and in. 106-104. Jokic had another tip-in late. He's flipping the ball up. He's flipping the ball in, and then Denver Nuggets won 112-109.

Everything you've been listening to is courtesy of the Nuggets radio network. So let's give you one more. The final call. Nikola Jokic will be face guarded. And Denver's going to give up a two, no problem. Inbound goes Conley. Looks in. Throws it off over to Edwards for three.

Missed it at the hard. Denver takes care of the Minnesota Timberwolves. They win game number five by a final of 112-109. And Denver moves on to the next round. Good for them.

That's nice. By all indications here, they're going to be taking on the Phoenix Suns. And game one of that series will apparently start on Saturday. And I'm sorry, I'm not trying to jinx the Suns here. The game is not done. But right now they lead 113-94. Bismack-Biambo is knocking down fall-away jump shots while being fouled.

So you know it's super garbage time. Bismack-Biambo is knocking down shots. Anyway, Jamal Murray is actually a good offensive player unlike Bismack-Biambo.

And Jamal Murray, he spoke to my buddy Stephanie Reddy on NBA TV after these Nuggets eliminated the Wolves. What have you all learned about yourselves, these tough games? We believe in ourselves. We got the group to do it.

We've been together for a while now. This is fun. This is when we're at our best. Guys competing.

All right, Michael. Guys competing, making us get better. You know, they made adjustments. Stuff we got to work on. It's only up from here. Even when it's not pretty, you all figure out how to win.

Jokic had another triple-double. Just tell us how special it is to play with somebody like that. It's amazing. It's a lot of fun. Let me tell you that.

There's a lot of guys that are selfish or want to get theirs or just take it on their own. But he tries to make everybody better and that makes us better. We're moving the ball like that. I think everybody played a good game. Mike stepped up. I told him to stay locked in. Angie played amazing. Bruce played the whole second half, I think. Guys came in and did what we had to do.

They did their job. They beat a less than, lesser than them. The Timberwolves team. The Timberwolves, they had to even fight to get here, to get into a play-in, to show up. I hope Karl Anthony Towns understands this. This is not your team, bro.

It's time to move on, man. Even having Rudy Gobert there, oh my God. They're stuck and saddled with him.

What a mess that is. At least you got Anthony Edwards. That's the bright side there for Minnesota. As the Denver Nuggets wait for this game to conclude, Phoenix up 116-97. We're starting to see things take shape here in the Western Conference.

We know De'Aaron Fox has his busted up finger. We know the Lakers are trying to get Memphis the hell up on out of here and dump that silly clown, Dylan Brooks, as well, out of the playoffs. And then, I told you as well, and I'll share this with you in the next break, about how the Atlanta Hawks, man, the Celtics just fell asleep at the wheel, man. Jason Tatum couldn't do anything in the latter portion of the game.

And the Hawks, they stay alive while Minnesota's eliminated, and it looks like the Los Angeles Clippers are about to do the same, be done. 855-212-4CBS, Rowdy is calling up from Memphis. You're on CBS Sports Radio, the JR Sport Brief Show. Go ahead, Rowdy. Good evening, JR. How you doing tonight? I'm very well. What's up? Well, I just wanted to give you a call. I'm a big Memphis Grizzlies fan, and I've been listening to you.

I started listening about six, eight months ago. So the last couple of weeks, the dialogue that you've been giving on him, I've been with you 110%. Unfortunately, I'm in the minority of the fans that want him gone, or we hope that at the end of this year, because he'll be a free agent. I think I'm restricted, but I'm not sure, but I know he'll be a free agent at the end of the year, and I'm just hoping and praying that he's no longer with us when we get to that point. The thing is, if we lose to the Lakers, this really will be good as far as the chances of him being gone. But if we somehow come back and beat the Lakers and go a little ways into the playoffs, well then that would make his chances of staying better. I just don't think him and Ja Morant is a good combo.

I think it's like oil and water with them being on the team. Plus, he was just a different player before Morant got on the team. Even when he doesn't run his mouth, look at his stats.

3 for 13, 5 for 12, 5 for 14, or whatever. They're going on about his defense, but he's not doing the job as far as shooting the ball or getting at least double digits on points. He just ain't worth all the trouble that he brings. Yeah, he's a good defensive player, and this and that, and they play the heart and soul of the team and all that. I'm a big Jaren Jackson fan, Desmond Bain.

I like Ja too, but in my opinion though... They haven't won a damn thing with him. They've got a target on their back.

They've been irritated. If you ask me, he's not worth the trouble. If he was a knockdown jump shooter, just knocking down a typical 3 and D player, then yeah, Dylan Brooks would be worth it.

But right now, he's worth as much of a headache, and I haven't met anyone who wakes up and says, I want one of those. Exactly. But thank you for letting me in tonight, and I just want to tell you on all your points and views on other subjects or whatever, I really appreciate it because I really look at things and do things the same way you do. So thank you for all what you do. I enjoy your show.

I work Monday through Friday at night, and 10, 11 o'clock Central Time. I'm always tuned in. Thank you, Rowdy. You as well, man.

Much love to you. Shoutouts to Rowdy for calling from Memphis. Let's go to Oregon, the home of the Blazers.

Maybe the future former home of Damian Lillard. Let's talk to AJ. You're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up, AJ? Hey, how you doing? I'm excited, like you. Go ahead.

Doing well. Just want to let you know you're hitting that Gen Z demographic right now. You got the young listeners, too.

Am I? What age is Gen Z? What age is that?

I don't know. I don't know, like maybe 20, something like that. How old are you? I'm 20, something like that. Okay. How the hell do you think I am?

Like 5'55", 65, something like that. Who knows? Your talk show radio. I love it, though. I'm here for it. Are you out of your damn mind?

Hey, I listen to it every day. You're talking about your kids graduating high school, you know, all that. You never know. You don't listen to me talking about kids graduating high school. What the hell are you talking about? No, no, no, no. You're going to listen to me, you 20-year-old. Oh, no. Oh, no.

Oh, no is right. Look, I probably look younger than you, man. What are you talking?

55? Hey, you're 20. I got the glow. You know, you don't got no glow. You live in Oregon.

Your glow is probably from illicit stuff. But anyway, hey, look, go look at my IG, man. They ain't no 55-year-old over here. Get your ass together. What do you got to say about some sports stuff here? All right, I'll be civil. All I wanted to talk about, Kevin Durant, I bet you regret not coming to the New York Knickerbockers right about now.

We got Julius Randle, Obie Toppin, Emmanuel Quickly, Quentin Grimes, NBA Championship right now. Put $1,000 on it right here. Okay. Thank you, AJ.

Appreciate you. That's all I got. That's all you got?

We don't want no more. Is that 20-year-old? So, I love his enthusiasm. AJ, he's got to know this. If you call into a radio show and you don't know what generation you're a part of, you eliminate yourself from the conversation. 20-year-old is not Generation Z?

No, but he is. But he's got to know that. What's Gen X?

Do you know what that is? So, Gen X is right before you and I. So, we're on the older end of millennials. And then before us, it's Generation X, which is like those born in the 70s. And then before them, it was obviously the baby boomers. So, what comes after Gen Z? Gen A, which is like those born in like the 2010s, 2020s.

We've already established what comes after Gen Z is Gen A. Oh, they're here already. Who comes up with this? Well, think about it. I don't know. It's maybe the census? Generation A? Yeah. So, Gen Z, they're already having kids.

So, we are... Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. We went... How do you go... You go from Z because you just... There's nothing after Z. So, you start back up at A? Correct. You don't want to be Generation ZZ. You want to live by that motto. There's going to be a Generation B?

I don't know what's next after A. I mean, I know in the alphabetical order what comes, but you would think maybe something more creative than just B. But the last generation can't be Generation Z because they're having kids now because they're born in the late 90s. Let me tell you something. I don't give a damn about Generation nothing.

I am just happy to wake up and be alive. You talk about your kids all the time. You got to stop doing that. Oh, in high school? My kid who just graduated... My imaginary child who just graduated high school.

Am I old enough to have a kid graduate? Hold on a second. Wait a minute. I am. I can have a kid graduate. I am as well. Good for me.

Anyway, I don't have one. Relax, 20-year-old. He belongs in Generation A too.

Generation A for ass. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio 855-212 for CBS. On the other side of the break, we're going to talk about a team that played like ass tonight. It's the Boston Celtics missing out on an opportunity to close out the Hawks. Trae Young.

He was like NBA Jam tonight. See? That is a gen... What generation is that?

X? Millennial? That's a Millennial thing because Generation X didn't have that when they were growing up. We did. NBA Jam. That was the Millennial thing. Trae Young was on NBA Jam level tonight. Trae Young was...

He was on fire. We're going to talk about that on the other side of the break. It's the JR Sport Brief Show, CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. Man, I love your show.

Every time I come home from work, it is a great listen. I just want to tell you, man, I love the show. What's up, JR? Thanks for taking my call, man.

I don't want to say first though. I love your show, bro. I listen to you almost every night, man.

Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. Oh, I love my show too, damn it. Thank you for loving it. I like this too. This is for the G's and this is for the hustle.

I could do the rest of it, but I have no job. Anyway, it is the JR Sport Brief Show on CBS Sports Radio. Man, these Clippers don't quit. They're like, well, you know what? I've been here in New York for two days now. I haven't seen a rat yet.

I haven't seen a cockroach. That'll probably be ruined when I leave the studio. One will probably run by me outside the building, but the fact is that the Clippers will not go away. 128 to 116. It's a little less than five minutes left in the game. We know that the Timberwolves are gone, officially eliminated.

Denver knocked them off 112 to 109. I want to talk to you about the Atlanta Hawks and what they were able to do tonight. But Mike Malone, head coach of the Nuggets, the same dude who called the Nuggets soft a couple of weeks ago.

He's like, my team is soft. Yo, what the hell are the Clippers doing? They're just bombing away threes here. 128 to 119, Norman Powell. Anyway, Mike Malone thinks the Suns are soft for what they're doing.

They'll probably still win, but we'll see. A 22 to 12 run in six minutes. The type of crap is this. Sheesh. The Suns. Anyway, Mike Malone, he actually liked what he saw from his team.

Listen to this. Well, what I loved is that the 40% from the field didn't detract us from staying aggressive. 36 free throw attempts. Everybody's tired of me saying it, but when we win the rebounding battle, we win. Plus seven, 20 fast break points, and we got contributions from a lot of guys tonight. Yeah, they got contributions from a lot of guys.

They did. What are they doing? Like, what are they doing? And we'll talk about the Phoenix Suns. I can't wait for this game to be finished because everybody goes on a run in the NBA now, but they're doing a little too much. You know why they don't have a shot in the next series, JR? The Phoenix Suns, who are going to likely move on? We're not going to talk about that. We're going to wait for this game to conclude, and then we'll look at the Phoenix Suns and then what the final result will be. Right now, let's go to Colorado.

I love Colorado. Let's talk to Nate. You're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up, Nate? What's happening, guys? I listen to your show for sports, you know, and I appreciate everything you do.

But I got a little soft spot in my heart because there was a cat who called in from Oregon, which I just moved to Colorado from Oregon. And he don't even know what generation he is, and NBA Jam ain't even turned him out. A what?

Come on, now. The upper end of the millennials, we know what NBA Jam is. I didn't even mention NBA Jam to that kid. He wasn't on the phone. I hung up on him. After he hung up, you guys talked about NBA Jam, and you didn't need to mention it because he wouldn't even know what it was about. Okay, thank you.

Anything else? Well, anything else, you can't be calling out ages when you don't even know what's going on. Well, I call him 55, and I just thought it was a little disrespectful of myself. Okay, well, I hope he hears you right now.

I'm not offended. I hope he does, too. Okay, well, you can go back to Oregon and give him a hug for me, okay?

Show him some love. Well, that was awkward. Creepy laughter. Okay, I don't know where that guy's been, but I don't want to know.

At all. Ethan, he's calling from Green Bay. You're on CBS Sports Radio.

What's up, Ethan? Hey, man, thanks for taking my call. I just called in to talk to you about the Packers' trade, and who do you think they're going to take in the draft and whatnot? Bruh, I am not thinking about who the Packers need to select in the draft. There's only one thing to think about with the Green Bay Packers.

What does Jordan Love do? They basically got a blank slate. They're going to be selecting the number 15. They can go in a million damn directions because the team is basically in a reset, man.

Yeah, I think that's fine. I think if they draft skill positions in the first and second round, they can really build their own Jordan Love and make a good team. I hope so. I hope that David Bakhtiari is healthy. I hope that the offensive line can keep him standing upright. Look, man, there's so many teams where you go, who should they draft? I don't know because they're going to be ass. How many games is America going to be watching of the Packers this year?

America? Man, once Jordan Love turns out, he going to prove all the haters wrong. That's all I'm saying. Oh, okay. Well, you don't know that for sure. We just got to all wait and see.

Nobody knows that. Let's see. Appreciate you, Ethan. Good luck to you guys, okay? Shout out Drew Jason, Grant Jakes. Hell yeah.

We don't know what that is and we don't care. Let's go to Virginia. John is here. What's up, John? Hey, JR. Thanks for taking my call. Certainly. It takes everything I got to crawl out of bed with a bad hip and bad knees to hear you, but I listen, brother. Oh, thanks. I just wanted to say, man, I called on Friday night and you called the fight just right, man, and it hurt me to my soul to pay $87.

I had to talk my wife into all kinds of things just to pay that amount of money to watch that fight. Okay. And then he knocked him down in the third round with a headshot and I thought I had it, but you called the body shot. Yeah. Was it the second or the third he knocked him?

He hit him with that uppercut. Yeah, I think it was the third. Okay. I could be wrong, but I wanted one quick thing on the football situation. I'm a diehard Washington fan.

Oh, no. I'm 70 years old, but anyway, old Tyler Heinecky. Yeah, he's in Atlanta. He's in Atlanta now. Yeah, he's with Falcons now, but that boy played with heart and he rallied the Washington people around here, you know, like I've never seen before.

But everybody knows he had a ceiling. He was nice because he was tough and rugged. He was gritty.

He was all of that, all of those, I don't know, all of the adjectives that you would put to a guy who ain't all that good. Right. And he came off the couch. You know what I mean?

Yeah. What was he, he was getting ready to do some paper pushing job, right? Well, yeah, he's going to be a backup, but I hope good things for the boy. I'm not so sure that Heinecky will be a backup for the Falcons. If Ritter goes out and he craps the bed, Heinecky will go out there and he'll take over. So we'll see.

We'll see. Thanks for taking my call. Sure, John. Thank you for calling from Virginia. Tom is here. He's calling from Baltimore. You're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up, JR?

How you doing? Thanks for taking my call, man. Hey, I didn't see the game, but it sounds like Trae Young went boom shakalaka tonight. He didn't, well, you know, he doesn't come through with the, with the hammer, but he went, he's on fire. He hit three after three after three after three, including the game winning three from damn near the logo to win it all. Yeah. Yeah, man. I can't wait to see those highlights, but yeah, I'll take your word for it, man. I don't, I wanted to also say, man, the Knicks heard a guy earlier talking about his Knicks and everything. I think it's great for the NBA.

The Knicks are there, you know, I think it's just a good thing. It's been a long time coming and yeah, see how, see how things turn out there. But yeah, man, love the show. Keep doing what you do, man. And you sound every bit of 38, not 55, man. Well, thank you. Well, thank you. Appreciate you.

Thank you, Tom, for calling from Baltimore. I'm not quite there yet either, man. Just, just give me, give me a break. Is anyone aging you tonight? I don't know. People are hot. They're cold. They're hot, hot. They're cold, cold. I don't know.

One guy said I'm 55. The other guy goes in 38 close, but not close enough. Anyway, you mentioned the Hawks. We're going to talk about them Hawks.

You don't have to take my word for it. We're going to take a break. When we come back on the other side, you will hear Trae Young knocking down shot after shot after shot. And we might, key word, might have a conclusion as the Phoenix Suns try to hold off the Los Angeles cockroaches. Yes, the Clippers are like cockroaches.

They will not die. We'll give you an update on that. It's the JR Sport Reshow on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. I love your show. I love listening to you on a regular basis.

Thanks for taking my call, man. I really like your show, dog. It's a great show that we listen to up here whenever we get the chance.

Man, let me say it. I love your show, man. I live in Brookhaven, Georgia, right? And I'm a truck driver. You make my night every night that you on the air. I want to say that. Call in now at 855-212-4CBS.

It's the JR Sport Brief Show on CBS Sports Radio. The Los Angeles cockroaches. Yeah, the Clippers. They finally, they finally died.

Well, I guess they're not cockroaches because them suckers just, they're going to be here past humans. But anyway, the Clippers, they done. Clippers season is over. The Phoenix Suns win 136 to 130. Phoenix will move on to take on the Denver Nuggets. Devin Booker currently talking to TNT.

We'll hear from Devin Booker shortly. But before we went to break, I told you about the Atlanta Hawks. Minnesota Timberwolves tonight season over.

The Los Angeles Clippers season over. The Hawks, they stayed alive earlier on this evening. They were the first NBA playoff game in the Atlanta Hawks. They go to Boston. They beat the Celtics with no De'Jaunte Murray.

The final score 119 to 117. Trae Young finished tonight with 38 points and 13 assists. I told you that Trae Young took it to NBA Jam. Trae Young was on fire. Three after three after three. And every three point shot in that fourth quarter had a different meaning.

Much love to my main man, Mike Conte, Steve Holman, holding it down on the Hawks radio network. Trae Young's first three? It was to pull them within three.

Take a listen. So now Trae will put it in play. Hawks down by six. Trae gets it back.

324 to go in the game. Trae sets it up against Al Horford. Now he shoots the three.

And he makes the three. Trae cuts it to three points. Trae Young kept going. Trae Young didn't just pull it to three. Trae Young hit another one. This one moving it closer and tying it at three.

Listen. 248 to go in the game. Trae Young against Jalen Brown. Trae behind the pick. Trae shoots the three.

And he makes it. And we've tied the game. The Hawks have tied the game, folks. It's 1-11 all with 238 to go.

Okay. The Celtics were able to even get back in it. Derek White was able to take the lead here with some free throws. And it's just like, oh my goodness, the Celtics are going to eke this one out. And then Trae Young had the ball. The Hawks were down. The Celtics, all they had to do was hold on. And Trae Young said, hold on.

Hold my beer. I got this for you. Sadiq Bey to put it in play. Sadiq gets it out to Trae in the backcourt. Trae now brings it across against Jalen Brown. Trae in the middle. Fires the three.

Bang! Trae Young just hit it with 1.8 to go. And the Hawks take a two-point lead.

1.19 to 1.17. Trae Young has just stunned this crowd, folks. Trae Young has just stunned Boston. Trae Young was hearing F U Trae.

They were hitting him with the Madison Square Garden classic. F U Trae. Or F Trae Young. Excuse me.

I don't want to get it wrong. Trae Young went off. He had five three-pointers tonight. The three that you just heard?

Yeah. The Celtics were cooked. Jason Tatum had a chance and a shot at the end of the game. And Tatum, who only finished tonight with 19 points, one of 10 from downtown. Tatum had a shot and he missed it. This is the final call here from the Celtics and the Hawks. Marcus Smart to lob it in.

He gets it in. Tatum fires at the buzzer and misses. And the Atlanta Hawks have won.

The Atlanta Hawks have come in and shocked the world, folks. Janet Jackson will have to wait until Friday for her second show. Janet Jackson, too bad. You'll have to wait.

The Atlanta Hawks are coming home to play game six on Thursday night. Nobody wants to make Janet Jackson wait. Janet Jackson has to wait.

You do what Janet says. But anyway, Janet Jackson has two shows at State Farm Arena this week. One of them was to be Thursday. But now Janet will have to, well her crew, they're going to have to build the set for Wednesday. I'm pretty sure the set is pretty much up right now.

They're going to be building it through tomorrow. Janet performs Wednesday night. Janet was supposed to perform again on Thursday night.

The Hawks will play on Thursday. And so Janet Jackson's crew, they're going to have to tear the set down. They're going to have to put the floor back out there. They're going to have to rip the floor up.

Janet's crew is going to have to put her stage and set back up for Friday. And good for them. That means they'll make more money. Shout outs to everybody getting money at State Farm Arena. Trey Young. He's coming back to Atlanta.

He's going to try to earn his money. He spoke to TNT after the game. This is what Trey Young had to say. Trey, that was a stunning finish. Just take me through that last three, four minutes leading up to your game winner. We just played hard.

We finished the game. We all wanted to stay aggressive and not give up. I mean, we know we were down a big piece of ours, but we wanted him to play game six.

So we want to go back home and have him with us. Yeah, you talk about that big beast, De'Jaunte Murray. What was your mindset coming into this game, your approach considering all the pressure was on you? I mean, I don't feel like there was any pressure on me. I got to come out here and be better.

Obviously, we didn't have him. So we all got to step our game up another level. Not just me. We all did tonight. And I credit my teammates. It was a total team win. Oh, that's nice. Team win with noted De'Jaunte Murray.

Maybe he learned his lesson. Don't bump no damn official, brother. 855-212-4CBS. The Hawks, the only team facing elimination tonight to stay alive. The Minnesota Timberwolves, done. The Clippers, done. Denver and Phoenix will start their series on Saturday, but let's go to New Hampshire and talk to Dave.

You're on CBS Sports Radio. Go ahead, Dave. Hey, yeah, I just think tonight, you know, the coaching and Tatum killed us. You know, Tatum talked all the stuff, you know, we're gonna we're gonna finish the series. Okay. Is that it, Dave?

No, that's not it. You know, okay. How do you not double the guy Trey Trey killed us all night? You know, that's the only guy they got that can score on that team.

That's that's that's not it's not wholly accurate Bogdanovich. Well, I mean, well, how about the fourth quarter, right? The fourth quarter basically the last what five minutes? Yeah, he was the guy he was not 12 consecutive. Correct, right 12 consecutive.

So you want to you know, maybe a double him Joe Joe look like a rookie tonight as a coach and Tatum just can't, you know, he's he wasn't on the same level as Trey. We're talking elimination game. Okay. Well, I think I think overall it is one game and by the way, your show kicks ass. Well, thank you. I'm not kissing your ass.

You're not kissing my ass with show kicks. Well, thank you. Thank you, Dave. I appreciate you, man.

Hey, I would just keep in mind. This is this one game. I know Tatum didn't have the greatest of series in the NBA Finals or that is fresh in everybody's brain from last year's playoffs.

I will tell you this. Tatum is better than Trey young and I got the best five guys we had on the floor tonight were Brown. Brogdon white Horford Williams. That's when we built our lead-up. Well, and I love Tatum.

I love it. I feel like in the big games. He just doesn't show up that is that that has been true up until now. I'm not closing the door on him. He is one of the most talented players in the NBA flat and period and so everybody's everybody's entitled to have a stinker or multiple and I think in due time for a young dude like Tatum. There's still plenty of time for him to walk away and I think ultimately one day as a champion. We'll see I wouldn't be too overly concerned with the performance tonight.

We may win game six, but the green team I said I was going to talk about the two green team. Oh my God. Oh my God, you've been here for a long time, but go ahead. Okay, real quick real quick. Not quick the most overrated quarterback in the league.

There's no way he wins a Super Bowl with the Jets. That's all I'm saying. Well, thank you Dave. I'll finish it on that note. That is quick.

Appreciate you man. Thank you David. Thank you for calling from that that last point was quick the other ones. Not so much. Hey bill, please be quick like 20 seconds quick.

Yo, yo real quick 20 seconds. Okay, so I'm not sure why Horford seems to be garden tray on last three games like last minute and a half of each game for real. Tatum is awesome. Brown is awesome.

Probably getting a little bit more awesome or close to Tatum 10 seconds. But the coach is pretty much a wild card at this point. I could coach those Celtics. I'm doubting that you know what I'm saying? But but no my that's my team.

They're going to win this but they said a wrap that up tonight. Thank you, sir. Okay. Thank you bill. I agree with you.

I agree. And if I can remember correctly Jalen Brown was guarding Trey young when Trey young decided to pull up basically from half court to hit the game winning three. Tatum is a bad dude, man. I think he gonna whoop that ass down in Atlanta. It's the JR sport free show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. We're going to take a break when we come back.
