That'll do you some justice. And here's a brief summation of last hour. The All-Star game sucked. The players feel that they can't even give the fans a minimum. I don't think anybody's walking around expecting playoff level basketball. I don't think anybody's expecting game seven of the finals.

I don't think anybody's expecting a regular season game. Well, can you give us a little bit more than just a walkthrough? That's it. Just a walkthrough?

It was not competitive at all. These guys practice harder than that when they actually practice. And they really do that.

They have a lot of walkthroughs because they want to save their bodies from wear and tear. That's a whole other conversation. Adam Silver actually had some points about load management.

We'll talk about that later on in the show. A little surprising to hear his stance. His stance sounds like it has changed a little bit, at least publicly. So we got a lot to do.

A lot to discuss. For whatever reason, Daniel Jones reportedly, from the New York Giants, he wants to make as much money as Patrick Mahomes. He switched agents. Russell Westbrook, we'll get to him in a few minutes, Russell Westbrook is going to stay in Los Angeles except for he's going to be a clipper. Congratulations one more time to Mack McClung for winning the dunk contest. People know who he is now. We have tons to discuss. Derek Carr met with the New York Jets over the weekend.

Sounds like they had a good time, but it's just a lot of manipulation and storytelling to help him get a deal. But there's a lot. If you want to talk to us, it's simple. The phone number is connected to many phone lines.

Many a times they are very full, but you can certainly try. It's 855-212-4CBS. That's 855-212-4CBS. If you follow me on social media, at JR Sport Brief, you're ahead of the game. You already know what the hell we're going to talk about for tonight because it's online. And by the way, if you didn't believe me that the All-Star game stunk, go ahead and listen to one of the guys who had to coach the West team, or whatever the hell they call it, Lebron's team, Mike Malone. He said the game was crap. Listen to him say it.

It's an honor to be here. It's an honor to be a part of a great weekend, great players, but that is the worst basketball game ever played. How do you fix it?

I don't know if you can fix it. I mean, I give Joel Embiid, Kyrie Irving, those guys are competing. Joel was imploring some of the guys to play harder, to try to get some defense in, but no one got hurt.

They put on a show for the fans, but that is a tough game to sit through, I'm not going to lie. The two-time MVP, Nikola Jokic, he was selected second to last. He basically walked off of the stage when there were two dudes left, pretty much to seemingly avoid being picked last. This is a guy who's averaging a triple-double right now in the season. He's not overwhelming anybody physically, or, well not, let me say that, athletically, he's just a basketball destroyer. And he was picked last, and this game was so crazy, he only scored four points. Luka Doncic only scored four points. Giannis had like a baseline lay-in and then exited out of the game because of his wrist, which it now looks like he's going to have to miss some time. LeBron had to exit the game, he caught his hand in the rim trying to block a shot, and then you got the MVP. The MVP, the two-time reigning MVP of the league, someone who is going to go down, when we do the 100-list NBA players, Jokic is just going to be on that list. And nobody wanted to select him. After the game, he was asked about it, he's like, man I ain't built for this game, listen to this. I've always said that awards don't mean that much to you, and you're a two-time MVP front-runner for a third MVP. Were you a bit surprised to go number seven in the draft? No, I will not draft myself either.

I'm not meant for this game. Congratulations, it was his birthday. Nikola Jokic, who might win a third MVP in a row. Nikola Jokic turned 28 yesterday, and the whole idea of selecting the reserves first in that NBA All-Star draft was to not embarrass anybody.

So no one would feel like, at least none of the reserves would have the feeling of, I'm the last guy taken. Well we had a star, the NBA's MVP, two-time MVP, he had to feel like he was the last guy taken so much so that he just walked off the stage. They said he didn't know. He didn't know about it, so he thought he was alone, sure. He didn't realize Larry Markkonen was up there. So, NBA All-Star game, just a disaster.

And I want to bring this to your attention. You probably heard about it today. Speaking of someone averaging a triple-double, Russell Westbrook will be joining the Los Angeles Clippers. We know we had that three-team trade take place at around the deadline. Russell Westbrook as a part of that being moved over to the Utah Jazz, which doesn't have a future for him right now. They're a developing squad. And what purpose would Russell Westbrook serve on that team?

The answer is none. And you guys hit me up with a lot of nonsense when he was traded about how he needs to go to Houston and he needs to go to DC. It's like, why is there a match? You have to think about it from the team's perspective as they develop talent and you have to think about it from Russell Westbrook's perspective as he is not someone who is still in his prime but can still contribute. Is he a perfect basketball player? No. Does he have elements that he can contribute?

Yeah. He can rebound. He brings energy.

And for as much people want to talk crap about Westbrook and his style not being winning basketball, that may be true. He's hard-headed. This man plays hard. He's the opposite of the crap that we saw last night during the All-Star game. It doesn't matter if you want to say that he is stat hunting of which he has when he was on the Thunder or you wish he would stop taking threes.

There's a million things you can chide him about. The man plays just about every game. Doesn't take games off. Plays hard. And for a Los Angeles Clippers team that their larger issues isn't so much about whether they'll play hard but whether or not they'll play at all. What's the worst that could happen with the Clippers by adding Russell Westbrook?

The answer is nothing. The Clippers lose nothing. And they got about 20 games left in the season to try to figure things out. Right before Russell Westbrook was traded, he was asked about all these rumors about, oh my God, is Kyrie coming to the Lakers? Russell, how do you feel about a potential exit? Russell, how are you putting the rumors and the distractions to the side? Russell Westbrook had a simple answer. He's like, listen folks, this is all business.

That's not up to me. Like I said, man, I've known this is a business since I was 18, 19 years old. So I got my dad taught me that, you know, just when you get to this league, it's a business and people make businesses, whatever decision that they make. And I make sure I'm ready professionally like I've always have been and always will be.

Yes. You got to give him credit. He shows up. He plays hard. He goes to work.

Thank you for that. At minimum, Russell Westbrook, he takes some shots that make you want to scratch your head or make you scratch your head. At least he plays. Like Kawhi, Paul George, if maybe you didn't notice, Paul George was in the All-Star game.

He was. When Paul George was selected, I had to go, wait a minute, Paul George, how many games did he play? Oh, he's played. He's played 44 out of 61 games for the Clippers. The Clippers right now today have a record of 33 in 28. They got 21 games left in the season, 21 games.

They got a quarter left. Paul George has played 44 games. Kawhi Leonard early in the season is just like, well, what's what's going on with Kawhi? Well, we see this guy play ever again.

He was going for a good chunk. He's only played 34 games. And then you think about a lot of the veterans that the Clippers have brought in. They just brought in Eric Gordon. He can bring the ball up and he can shoot a three. Luke Kennard. He can shoot a three.

Bones Highland wanted a larger role. Didn't want to stay in Denver anymore. So now you've got a young guard to get up and down the floor and shoot. Mason Plumlee. No longer a member of Charlotte, Mason Plumlee was was doing a damn good job, basically a double double out for the Charlotte Hornets. They still got Zubac's that the Clippers are like a ridiculously veteran laden team of just a bunch of guys slapped together. I don't know if they're going to be a hit.

I would think more than likely they might be a missed just based on the injury history. But you have to take the Clippers serious. And please sign me up for World. Where LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, the new Lakers, Rui Hachimura and who they bring in from from Orlando, Mo Bamba, please give me a world where the Lakers make the playoffs. LeBron James talked about this after the All-Star game about how the Lakers right now, if they get into the playoffs, they can be a threat for or against anyone. And I would agree with that. Yeah, they would be a threat.

But you got to get there first. I think at minimum they'll get to the play in game barring injury. Hello, Anthony Davis or and or LeBron. Give me a world where the Clippers play the Lakers in the playoffs.

Sign me up for that. We've been missing out on some of these marquee matchups because of injuries. It was only about a year or so ago where I wanted to see I wanted to see the Sixers and the Nets in the playoffs.

But why would I think about such a silly thing when nobody could stay healthy? Not a James Harden. Ben Simmons doesn't even like basketball. Kevin Durant, Kyrie.

Why would I think that any of these dudes would be healthy? Can I at least get a grudge match? Can I get a game where Russell Westbrook will D up on LeBron James, try to steal the ball and dunk? Can I get LeBron trying to dunk on Russell Westbrook? Can I get that at minimum? We ain't get no aggression at the All-Star game. Can I get some in a postseason? And so the Clippers got all the veteran talent in the world, all of it.

Do they have enough time to mesh? It's almost comical. It's been reported that Russell Westbrook is is clear on his role. They don't need him to to go out and score. They want him to help facilitate, which he can do. They want Russell Westbrook for his toughness and his aggression, which he is tough and aggressive.

And they want Russell Westbrook for his. Nine out of 10 women feel pressure to conform to unspoken hair rules to fit in the picture. You have to change your hair. Your curls are only acceptable if they're perfect. I don't see anything that tells you to embrace your gray. People show up with different hair.

We should celebrate that. Let's embrace the beauty of all hair. New Dove Love Your Hair collection is gentle and sulfate free with customized skin care ingredients to love your silver. Love your waves. Love your curls. Love the hair that makes you you. And I think that's beautiful.

New Dove Love Your Hair. Rebounding, which he'll do as well. He can still go out there and rebound.

He's a he's a bigger guard at six four, still ridiculously athletic even as he gets older. But we all know that there might come down to a time where Russell Westbrook will take that shot. That pull up shot where there's too much time on the clock. That ill-advised shot that just bounces off the side of the rim.

But I will assume he'll take less of those shots. With two wing players with him. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. The NBA is very interesting right now.

Player movement. Injuries. There's nothing cut and dry here as to what we'll see in the postseason. Because somebody will get hurt between now and then.

That's just how it is, unfortunately. How is Durant going to recover in the West? What about Chris Paul?

How long does he hold up? Devin Booker dealing with a groin. LeBron James is older. Anthony Davis is made out of glass. Joel Embiid scored like 32 points in the All-Star game last night. And he was talking about his minutes heading into the game because of a foot that needs rest. James Harden has also been an iron man, despite all of his his strip club adventures. For the most part, he's played his ass off for the majority of his career. Giannis is dealing with a wrist.

Everybody and their mothers hurt. And now Westbrook joins all of these veterans with the Clippers. The Clippers will be a threat. I'll put it to you that way. Am I going to call them NBA champs?

I don't think so. A lot would happen for that. Are they going to be competitive in the West if they're healthy? Hell yeah.

Good luck being healthy. Maybe Kawhi will actually play. Maybe Paul George will show up. And if you're the Clippers, maybe Russell Westbrook isn't out there having to take ill-advised shots come April, May and maybe June. This is a good move for the Clippers. It's a good move for Russell Westbrook. They got nothing to lose.

Might as well go for it. I think this is a good move. 8-5-5-2-1-2 for CBS. That's 8-5-5-2-1-2 for CBS.

I think Russell Westbrook with the Clippers. Good idea for both sides. What do you say? We got a bunch of people on the line as well. Comments on the All-Star break, the dunk contest. We're going to talk about it all. Speaking of the dunk contest, DK Metcalf, after his All-Star performance, after winning MVP of the celebrity game, he got a little bit of a call from the NFL. I'll explain that and get to your calls. It's the JR Sport Brief Show, CBS Sports Radio.

It's the JR Sport Brief Show on CBS Sports Radio. Shout-outs to everybody in Utah. Shout-outs to everybody out west, my friends in the Mountain States, everybody in the Plains. I heard y'all got a storm coming. I hope you're safe.

I hope you're well. I think there's a winter weather watch in effect for a lot of people maybe starting already. I know in Utah I believe it starts tomorrow. And so much love to just everybody all over the country having to deal with whatever some of the last of the crazy winter weather is. And we know it could last for weeks. Weather's nuts right now.

It's all over the place. We do know that following NBA All-Star Weekend, we learned today that Russell Westbrook will be joining the Los Angeles Clippers. So he doesn't have to go far. The man doesn't have to move. He doesn't have to, you know, change house. He doesn't have to uproot his family.

He doesn't have to be far away from them. He literally just goes right down the hallway as a member of the Clippers. He's going to join Kawhi Leonard. He's going to join Paul George, all of the other veterans.

And they should have a chance at being competitive in the West because the West is all over the place and people get hurt. And the Clippers have nothing to lose. Russell Westbrook has nothing to lose. And as he is pretty much going to be on not an expiring contract, but he's on a forty seven million dollar option. He's on the jazz. He's not going to finish out that. He's just committed to them for the rest of the season.

Twenty one games plus postseason. And so Russell Westbrook actually is incentivized to to contribute and show up and work. And why wouldn't he? Good move for Westbrook. Good move for the Clippers.

Nothing for anybody to lose. What say you? Eight five five two one two four CBS. Greg is calling from Michigan. You're on the J.R. sport brief show. Hey, J.R., Mr. Positive, thanks for taking my call. And keep up the great work with the Special Olympics that you do. I believe that's your organization. And I love it.

I saw it on Facebook. Quite a dose of reality. And I know this is going to sound like a stretch, but do you think that Russell Westbrook sandbagged a little bit with the Lakers in the sense we know his intensity? But because he was playing with LeBron and Anthony Davis, do you think he was like the third wheel and he felt like he didn't fit in and going to the Clippers because of Kawhi being hurt so much? Paul George is good, but I don't think he's great. I think he might be top 20. Still makes him great.

I know. But do you think that maybe we're going to see a different Westbrook going forward? I think we'll see a different Westbrook going forward, but I don't think it's a matter of him quitting or not being happy with the Lakers. We know he wasn't happy with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers were not happy with him.

At this time last year, we were pretty much all just in the...what do they call it? Russell...Hey Jack, what were they making fun of him about? They were making fun of his...Westbrook, right? Yeah, they were calling him Westbrook because he takes 17 to 20 shots a game, only makes six, still gets to the free throw line and somehow still gets his 25 points and that's what Russell Westbrook does, right?

He just patches stats. Russell, they were calling this man Westbrook. He was being harassed by fans on the street. There were videos of people walking up to Russell Westbrook calling him Westbrook.

In my opinion, it went a little too far when people are just trying to insult him and inflame a personal situation. He's a basketball player. A perfect basketball player? No, he's not. Has he been a good one?

Yes, he has. He's going directly into the Hall of Fame for his skills and his talents, but why you want to roll up on a basketball player? Why you would want to insult any stranger? People think that they have the right to do whatever they want because someone is a public figure and that's not fair, that's not how the world works. Like you've already opened yourself up to criticism.

At minimum, people could have just a decency, a modicum of respect for you just as a human. So he had to deal with Westbrook. He had to deal with the Lakers stinking. He had to deal with his own play and that's not to absolve him. There have been plenty of times and instances where Westbrook would inflame a situation just by his interactions with the media. He was and still is. He's very, very, very strong willed, very combative, sometimes unnecessarily, and it doesn't help him with his reputation.

That part hasn't helped him and maybe he just does not care. I think that's apparent at this point, but I don't think he dogged it with the Lakers. He's the dude who showed up. He was the guy who was healthy.

Yeah, who likes his shot selection? He showed up to work. 855-212-4CBS. Jose is calling from Massachusetts. What's up, Jose?

Yeah, man. What's going on? Yeah, I just want to say go into the Clippers. Best thing that ever happened. He's got shooters now all over the floor and on the bench.

This is going to be the best thing ever for him. Grab rebounds, run it down. You know what? You got Eric Gordon now. You got Powell. You got George. You got Kawhi.

Yeah, Denver better watch out. Okay. Well, thank you, Jose, for calling from Massachusetts. A shout out to Trash Man Origins. He mentioned that Luke Kennard is now a member of the Grizzlies. Thank you for pointing that out.

You can tweet me at JR Sport Brief. There's nothing for this man to lose. Not a damn thing. And he can still play. You can't take a damn thing away from Russell Westbrook besides his shot selection.

He's not going to be tasked here. If everybody's healthy, nobody's looking for him to put up shots and points. If the shot in the lane is open, go for it.

Take it. If not, give the ball to Paul George. Give the ball to Kawhi and pray to God that he doesn't have to go out there and take an open three.

Clippers will be a threat. I think he'll work better because LeBron James, he's the one running the show. And LeBron is not catch and shoot. Anthony Davis, a lot of times, he wants to either, you know, get set and go to work or put up a shot. And they were asking Russell Westbrook to go out there and hey, just when you get it, can you score? He wasn't going to handle the ball.

That was LeBron. Good luck to him. I think it'll work out. Maybe not a championship, but I think it will. Hey Marco Belletti, man, what do you think about this Russell Westbrook Clippers combination? I'm like, they got nothing to lose.

No, they don't. You kind of hit it where it's the LeBron James factor. Look, Russell Westbrook is not what he was.

We all know that. But he's still got the ability to get to the rim at times as long as you're not asking him to be a jump shooter and you can make him be a facilitator again. But with LeBron, that makes it really hard that just it never meshed because you can't get the ball out of LeBron's hands and why would you? So it just didn't work out because it never had a chance from the beginning.

In my opinion anyway. Yeah, he has a legitimate chance here to quote unquote be the point guard and it will actually take some of the pressure off of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. They can get to their spots. They can go to work and you do have to account for him as a threat, not so much as a jump shooter, but with someone who can go and cut to the basket if he's willing to do that. And I think he'll be more engaged. He'll be more happy because he will be the quote unquote point guard. And he could do more of the drive and kick too, because again, that's not going to work with the Lakers.

They had no shooters, right? And he's he can still go to the basket if you give him a lane and give him a space where he can just cut and drive with the ball. You have to defend him going to the basket and then he can certainly kick out. I know people want to say that he stat chases and hunts, which is true, mostly for rebounds. Those triple doubles that he had, the assists came from somewhere, you know, he wasn't making extra passes and forcing guys. Hey, man, you better make the shot like he accounted for points because of his ability to go to the rim and pass. And so that part gets overlooked in his game. And yeah, he's not going to just jump over everybody every time. He's still going to destroy somebody on a dunk if he gets the chance. But he's he's a passer.

I think this is going to work. Now, whether or not those other guys stay healthy and everybody's flaws get exposed, that's a different conversation. But no harm, no foul. The Clippers might as well go for it.

They got old, broken. We don't know if he plays Kawhi. Same thing for Paul.

Sometimes you got to push all the chips to the center of the table. And keep in mind, too, you're not paying him forty seven million dollars to do it. Like that's the big part of it, too. Like it's not Russell Westbrook on his contract. It's Russell Westbrook on minimum wage, basically, for the NBA. That's you know, really, what are you losing if it doesn't work after a month and you want to release him? So be it.

Who cares? And he's he's going to want to at least prove himself for whatever team he's with next year. Maybe the Clippers say, yeah, we want to keep you on board. So there's a lot for him to play for.

I like the move. It's the J.R. sport. We show him on CBS Sports Radio eight five five two one two four CBS.

I'm going to get to your calls. And on the other side of the break, Russell Westbrook can he can still get up. He can still jump. He can still dunk. He's very athletic. Probably still one of the most athletic guards in the NBA. We got to talk about D.K.

Metcalf because he should just go ahead and be Bo Jackson and play every sport right now. I'll explain the J.R. sport brief show on CBS Sports Radio that we saw a lot of action. We saw a lot of athletes, a lot of just wild dunks, crazy performances over the weekend. One of the biggest ones happened to be from an NFL player.

It's D.K. Metcalf. We talked a little bit about this on Friday night as he participated in the Celebrity All-Star Game. And yes, it's a celebrity game. Guillermo from I don't know what the hell is that. Jimmy Kimmel was there. Janelle Monae, the singer participated.

Massive tick tock and Instagram celebrities who I have no idea who they are. And then you had D.K. Metcalf, who was probably, even though there were WNBA players there, he was the most athletic freak that was on the court. And I shared with you on Friday night that the numbers that he put up and just him running around were Amari Stoudemire-like for an All-Star game. 20 points, 10 rebounds, 4 blocks. I don't remember D.K. Metcalf taking a jump shot.

There had to have been some in there, obviously. All I remember were the dunks. Drop step, power dribble dunks.

Dunking in transition. And even on the football field, D.K. Metcalf is a freak. He's an imposing figure even as a wide receiver. He's 6 foot 4. He's listed at 235. He looks bigger and stronger than everybody at the position.

He overshadows the defensive backs. He's a freak, period. And now you put him on a basketball court and he was a monster. And so after the game, before I tell you what took place over the weekend, directly after the game and he won the MVP, D.K. Metcalf said, yes, the performance was awesome. He feels amazing. Listen to this.

This was courtesy of ESPN. It feels great. I ain't never thought I was going to win an MVP.

I just can't hit a hoop around. But it feels great. I thank y'all. It was just a great all-around experience just to be on the court with some of these guys and a lot of legends that played in the NBA. It was just a blessing all around.

It was a blessing all around. Good for D.K. Metcalf.

To the shock and the surprise of absolutely no one. Yesterday, D.K. Metcalf shared a text that he received from an NFL representative telling him he was selected for a performance enhancing substance test.

They want him to pee in the cup. That's it. He also went viral on Friday. There was like a commercial that bounced around social media of D.K. Metcalf just, you know, jumping through the gym. It seemed like he jumped 10 feet off the ground to catch a football. And it's almost impossible.

He can't do it. It was just a funny viral clip. So between that viral clip and him dunking all over the place at a celebrity game, D.K. Metcalf was called upon to get in touch with an NFL drug testing representative to arrange a time and a place to meet. So D.K. could quote unquote just go ahead and pee in a cup and we could all know that D.K.

Metcalf is not on any substances that would increase his performance. What a surprise. 855-2124 CBS.

That's 855-2124 CBS. Nick is here from St. Louis. You're on the chair of our sport brief show.

What's up, Nick? Yo, I just think that D.K. Metcalf is the greatest player of all time. Like, you don't understand. He's insane.

Like, compared to Jerry Rice, Jerry Rice is like a freaking pitcher. Like, D.K. Metcalf is retarded. Well, that's a terrible use of language for a young person, Nick. I hope that you never use that word again in your life.

And I was also quite a bit of, I don't know the word, hyperbole is not it. D.K. Metcalf is a very good wide receiver. He ain't even the best receiver in the league.

He can be, but he ain't. Hey, Nick, I would encourage you to try to learn some new words. Don is calling from Birmingham. You're on CBS Sports Radio. Hey, are you about to do this NBA crap, man? It is getting old. You know? You're wearing it out.

Excuse me? Can't do nothing about it. The NBA, we can't do anything about what?

Yeah, the All-Star crap. That's all we have out now, man. This isn't a long show. Let's give it a rest. I'm sorry. Don, can you try to articulate in a different way?

Well, yes. Are you about through with all this NBA All-Star crap? Yeah, I've actually just started to talk about the NFL crap, Don. Is there anything else you would like to share?

There ain't nothing you can do about it, and it was wild to get on my nerves. So let me ask you a question. You feel so impassioned and so empowered. What do you have to share? What compelled you so much to call? Because my job here is to evoke emotion out of you, which is obviously what has taken place.

So what would you prefer? No, no, let's have a conversation here, Don. Okay, all right. No, no, stop. No, no, listen. What would you prefer for us to do, you, Don, as the producer? Well, you could have covered the NBA for about 30 minutes and moved on to something else.

Anything else but that. No, I didn't ask you that, Don. I asked you, this is a four-hour show, right? You know that?

Yeah. Okay, so this is a four-hour show, and I've been producing for a very long time. We talked about the All-Star game.

We're talking about the NFL. I asked you a very specific question. You, Don, the producer, what would you like to talk about? You're on the air.

Well, I would like to talk about the NASCAR race. So, unfortunately, Don, for America, like the 300 stations that are here, like in Las Vegas, Florida, New York, Boston, Texas, California, Idaho, Boise, Utah, Chicago, if you want to talk about, you know what a podcast is? Yeah. Okay, so I encourage you to listen to a podcast where you can listen to something that is very direct. A matter of fact, I want to encourage you to listen to the new podcast which we just launched.

It's called Agents of Inclusion. Okay. It is a podcast that I launched last week with Special Olympics, and we are highlighting absolutely amazing stories of Special Olympics. Well, I wanted to commend you on that. I heard you in your announcement, and I wanted to commend you on that. Well, thank you. Well, here's my question. Did you listen to it?

No, not yet. So, here, do me a favor. Since you don't like the NBA, and you're familiar with my podcast, go listen to it. Deal? Okay. I will. Thank you. Go listen to that and then come back, all right? All right.

Well, thank you, Don. I don't like the NBA. Well, tell me in a sentence. Tell me in a complete sentence why you don't like the NBA and why I should talk to America for 20 minutes about Daytona. Let me make it very clear.

People care and are impassioned about the NFL, basketball, and barely baseball. And Tiger Woods, if he's passing crazy things off to people. Well, thank you, Don. Thank you, Don, a lot. Hey, Jack, did you have an opportunity to see any of that dunk contest on, well, not the dunk contest, but did you see DK Metcalf flying around on Friday night? I did. I watched the entire thing, and it was oddly entertaining. Is it just me, or is it actuality that any time DK Metcalf participates in any type of sporting event, whether it be a football game, a track race, or trying his talents out on the hardwood, that he just absolutely dominates and looks like a man amongst boys when he's competing against other athletes? This is not a stretch.

Oh, sure. And the thing about DK Metcalf, if you think about his career, he was selected in the second round. He was told that he should not play football again because he basically broke his neck. People just think DK Metcalf fell out of the sky, and here we have a freakish athlete jumping around for the Seahawks, and they don't realize how difficult it was for him to be drafted.

He broke his neck not too long before the draft. And to your point, he's fast? Nobody's supposed to be that fast. I believe DK Metcalf ran like a 4-4 at 6-4, 2-30, 2-40. He's jumping out the gym.

He's the guy who quote-unquote is not supposed to be here. He actually ran even faster. He ran a 4-3-3 at the combine. He ran a 4-3 at the combine.

4-3-3, 2-3. Yeah, he makes no sense. It's not a stretch. I found this celebrity game to be better than the All-Star game.

Just from an entertainment perspective, I don't know what Guillermo is handing out pizzas, Janelle Monae doesn't know if she's on offense or defense. DK Metcalf is dunking. I ain't going to see that ever again probably unless he shows up in another game. Friday night, Saturday night better than Sunday night.

We can certainly do without Sunday night. Congratulations to DK Metcalf. He's a winner. Mac McClung, he was a winner.

And speaking of winners, I saw this today and I'm just like you gots to be kidding me. Daniel Jones of the New York Giants is trying to be a winner. Daniel Jones of the New York Giants is trying to make money. I can't knock him.

I can't blame him. Daniel Jones has also switched agents now that he is free to get a new contract. I'm going to tell you what Daniel Jones is looking for on the other side of the break. And you tell me whether or not Daniel Jones is absolutely nuts.

He might be. Either he's nuts, the New York Giants are crazy, and then what the hell does this mean for Saquon Barkley? What does this mean for the quarterback market? Daniel Jones goes to the playoffs one time and now he wants to get paid like Patrick Mahomes? I'm going to explain this on the other side of the break.
