If you need to know what it takes for a home to fit your budget and your family, Rocket can. I'm going to be hanging out here with you for the next two hours. I hope you've had a tremendous night. Hope you've had a tremendous Monday. We got a lot to do. Here's a reminder though. I get started 10 p.m. Eastern Time, 7 p.m. Pacific.

And man, I think I know what to do. I don't know what the next two hours are going to sound like. We'll talk about the Patriots. We'll also talk about the Arizona Cardinals because tonight they played a football game in Arizona. In the New England Patriots, they come out on top 27 to 13.

It's a tale of two teams going in opposite directions. The New England Patriots, they improved their record to seven and six. They now occupy the final playoff spot in the AFC, that wildcard spot. And the Arizona Cardinals, the big news for the evening.

Terrible news for them. As Kyler Murray comes back after two games with a hamstring injury, and on the third play of the game, he goes down. Non-contact injury.

Cliff Kingsbury just spoke. It's to be said that they fear it is a torn ACL. Just a terrible situation for Kyler Murray. We're going to get into the game, deep into the game, but I want you to hear this, what took place the third play of the game. This is courtesy of the Cardinals and their radio network.

It's a play fake. Murray setting up, looking deep, not takes off. Running to the right at the 35, at the 40, and dives to about the 44 yard line.

A gain of three for Kyler Murray. And an injured Cardinal. It's Kyler who went down very awkwardly that time as he tried to cut. Oh no.

Non-contact. He cut right, then tried to cut left, and just buckled. And there was a Patriot player right there who called to the Cardinals sideline to bring on the training staff. Yeah, that massive sigh from everyone in Arizona lets you know just how bad that was. Everyone already assumed what it was, and so Kyler Murray will be reevaluated tomorrow as they look into whether or not it's an ACL tear.

And I think everyone is pretty much fearing the worst, and Kyler Murray was put on a cart. He was carted off the field. He was visibly crying and upset. I don't think you could blame him. He had a towel over his head in addition after that. And then it was reported that he displayed even more emotions when he finally got through the tunnel into the back. Cliff Kingsbury, he just spoke a few minutes ago, a few moments ago, and he talked about what took place with Kyler Murray.

Take a listen to this. Doesn't look good, but we'll know more in the morning. It's tough.

There's no doubt. You see teams go through it every week, but you lose your starter on third play of the game. You know, kind of a deal, non-contact. It's just tough to watch and see, and you've got to be able to rebound and continue to play the game, though. Just was kind of asking what was going on from the medical staff, and obviously it didn't look good, and I've never seen him in that type of shape, so I assumed it wasn't good. Not good at all.

Not good at all. And so you will assume that Kyler Murray, regardless of whether it's an ACL or whatever the case might be, that he's going to be done for the year. And this has been a tough year for the Arizona Cardinals.

4-9, historically under Cliff Kingsbury, the team has underperformed in the second half of every season, and we can boil this down to injuries once again. Last year, Hopkins injury, and then it moves from a Hopkins injury to a Hopkins suspension due to PEDs. Kyler Murray, today was actually supposed to be the day that the Arizona Cardinals were healthy. That they were actually, for the second game, only the second game this season, going to have Kyler Murray, James Connor, De'Andre Hopkins, Marquise Brown, all of these dudes were supposed to be healthy. And then Kyler Murray goes down, third play.

It was a pass play, a pass completion, I remember. They ran the ball, and I don't even remember what happened when Kyler went and just blew out his knee, he had the ball in his hands at that moment. And so the Cardinals, man, lose tonight 27-13 to the Patriots, more importantly, they lose Kyler Murray. And that is just another question mark for the Cardinals to evaluate into the season. We know that Kyler Murray just signed on the dotted line in the offseason, last offseason, a five-year deal, $230 million, $160 million in guarantees, and we know he was criticized from the get-go.

They wanted to include a clause in his contract about his study habits. And so this has just been a disaster, the offseason into the regular season, and now into another offseason here for the Arizona Cardinals. Just absolutely terrible. We'll talk more about Kyler Murray and his injury. It's been a wild week or weekend of NFL games for injuries.

Deebo Samuel, we know that the 49ers, they beat the living hell out of the Bucs 35-7. Deebo dealing with a sprained MCL in an ankle, expected to return in a month's time. We know that Mike White of the New York Jets, this man was folded like an accordion. His ribs, he's day-to-day as the New York Jets take on those winning, winning Lions right now. And then you think about some of the other injuries. Russell Wilson goes down, a concussion, and it's always terrible when the camera zooms in and someone has no idea where they are. So although the Denver Broncos were able to hang in there with the Chiefs, they still lost, and they lost Russell Wilson as well. So a tough weekend for NFL in injuries. Meanwhile, I guess if we want to find the brighter side for anyone this evening, it would happen to be the New England Patriots. They are the winners tonight over the Arizona Cardinals 27-13. And from the minute that Kyler Murray went down with that knee injury, this was just a matter of, are the Patriots going to beat them down or are they going to choke?

It was the first, not the latter. The Patriots beat down Arizona 27-13. It's like tonight was the rookie night for the New England Patriots. Three rookies were able to go out there and help score the football at one point, and not at one point, just in a general sense. The cards were outscored 17-0 in the second half. Overall, the New England Patriots were able to score 20 unanswered points. This was basically abuse. And this was Colt McCoy not being able to get them over the hump, but it is Colt McCoy.

What the hell is he supposed to do? If you want to hear the Patriots first touchdown of the game, it sounded like this from Kevin Harris via the Patch Radio Network. Yeah, I'm sure that Bill Belichick was looking thrilled on the sidelines at that minute. We saw a couple of, well we didn't see a couple of field goals. We saw a bunch of field goals all over the damn place. New England Patriots, they were able to kick another one to end the second quarter. Arizona scored a touchdown on James Connor's touchdown run, and at halftime, Arizona led 13-10. Nick Foulke was able to kick a 51-yard field goal to move the game close. He was able to kick another one in the third quarter to actually tie the game at 13-all. But then, things started to unravel because the Cardinals couldn't even hold on to the football.

I want you to hear this. Raekwon Miller, another young dude, getting busy. Brown now bubbles into the backfield. He joins McCoy on the quarterback's left flank as he takes the shot to the snap. He drops back. Pressure throws down on a cop by Hopkins crossing near side. Ball's hunched loose. Picked up by the Patriots.

Down the right side. Running into the end zone. Touchdown, New England. A scoop and score for Raekwon McMillan.

Yeah, you can thank Deontre Hopkins for having butterfingers. Not holding on to the football at that point. The score is now 20-13. 20-13. Colt McCoy also decided to turn the ball over.

INT. And then we saw another touchdown by the New England Patriots. Pierre Strong able to run it in in the fourth.

Take a listen. The Patriots after that 39-yard grab. Have a first and goal to go.

Looking to expand the lead. Strong off the left hip. Jones takes the step. A give to Pierre. He runs up and lowers the shoulders.

Dives in. There's a flag on the play. Now it's a touchdown, Patriots.

Yeah, I'm sorry. Now it's 27-13. And that was pretty much the final score of the game. I feel like I'm piling on, but let's just put a little bit of icing on the cake here. Poor Colt McCoy. Things couldn't just end like that. Josh Uche. Shoutouts to Michigan. He decided to just lay this man out.

Take a listen. Three receivers right. Hopkins split left. Patriots with four defenders back at the 40-yard line. The snap lays time. McCoy drops back.

Junon pressure. McCoy slides right. He's pressured by Wise now.

Goes back to the middle. McCoy is sacked. Finishing him off on the play. The third man there for the Patriots. Josh Uche. Josh Uche had three sacks on the night. Congratulations to him and Matthew Judon was able to pick up a sack and a half. He's now tied for the league lead. Matt Judon still at 30 years old making sure that he earns all of his money and all of his cash. So unfortunately for the Arizona Cardinals, they couldn't muster really too much anything after a Connor run.

That was all she wrote. You know, Colt McCoy had to throw the rock 40 times. He was sacked six times. We told you about the Hopkins fumble and Colt McCoy's INT. What did we expect after Kyler went down?

I expected things to be ugly and that's exactly what they were. Cliff Kingsbury. He didn't just talk about Kyler Murray and his likely terrible injury that has to be evaluated tomorrow. Cliff Kingsbury also talked about all of their mistakes on the offensive side of the ball. The self-inflicted stuff offensively was really bad tonight. You know, the illegal shifts, some big plays.

You can't do that. That's just unacceptable and we got to be better. You know, no matter who's out there operating, no matter who's in. Obviously, there's some guys that are backups that are getting a lot of time. We just got to execute at a high level and when you have a chance to make plays, you got to make them. Come on now.

I mean, I know you can't throw in when I say you, Cliff Kingsbury. He can't throw Colt McCoy under the bus but nobody's expecting to see Colt McCoy. Ain't nobody trying to see this man play football. How is he still around? God bless him. I'm not mad at him. He's a 36-year-old backup quarterback and I would think by now the Arizona Cardinals would at least have somebody where you can have a similar game plan to what you can do with Kyler Murray, right?

Maybe someone who can move outside of the pocket just a little bit? And Colt McCoy is great. I don't know what he's going to do. What's he going to do when he retires?

Is he going to... Wait, you said he's great? What did I say? I said Colt McCoy is great. I just wanted to do a double check there for a second.

I don't know if I was able to complete. Did I say great at what he does? You said he's great. I was like great at what?

No, that's not... What was the context? Did I finish my sentence? I think you did. I apologize.

I just didn't know if planet I was on right there for a second. Why would I call him great? You tell me. Not at football. I'm going to have to play this back.

I think he's great at what he does. Just coming off the... Can I finish my damn sentence? Yes you can. You go ahead.

Go ahead. About time. I mean damn. I think it's great the man can come off the bench and still be around.

God bless him. He's certainly not a great quarterback. I don't know how he still has a job. I have to listen to the context.

You made me forget what I was saying. Look. Colt McCoy needs to be thrilled and happy that he still has a job. I have no idea what he's going to do when he retires. Is he going to do television? Is he going to hold a clipboard? Is he going to coach?

I have no idea. He's 36. He's still here. As we move forward, the Arizona Cardinals have nothing to evaluate, nothing to look at for the rest of this year.

Nothing. Cliff Kingsbury has to think about whether or not he'll still have a job. Unfortunately, Kyler Murray will think about his rehab or he'll go through his rehab after what was just been a poor season, even outside of the injuries.

And it's just bad. And the New England Patriots, I told you this in the meantime. They just they just put themselves back into the playoff picture. Yeah, we got more games to go. The New England Patriots will take on the Raiders next. They're a disaster in and of themselves.

You don't know what to expect. You know, week after week. But the Pats, they might go to the playoffs at seven and six as a wild card.

And if they go. And they don't have Tom Brady, so not a damn thing going to happen. It's the J.R. sport brief show here with you on CBS Sports Radio 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. That's 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. The Patriots, they beat the cards 27 to 13 for right now. The Patriots have the final playoff spot in the AFC and the cards.

Looks like they lost Kyler Murray for the rest of the season with a potential torn ACL. Bill Belichick is speaking to the media right now. We'll hear from Bill Belichick on the other side.

We'll also hear from you. 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS. It's the J.R. sport brief show.

Don't move. You're listening to the J.R. sport brief on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the J.R. sport brief on CBS Sports Radio. God bless you, J.R. I'm a huge follower, supporter and listener of your show. I've been admiring you for years. I follow you on Twitter.

It's an honor to be able to talk to you, man. You're listening to the J.R. sport brief. Call in now at 8 5 5 2 1 2 4 CBS.

You can find me on Twitter at J.R. sport brief tonight. Monday night football. We saw what took place.

It was ugly. It was ugly and on many fronts as the New England Patriots just handled the Cardinals excuse me, 27 to 13. The big news for the Patriots.

They now occupy the seventh and final playoff spot. Obviously, there's more to go here in the season and the Arizona Cardinals. They lose Kyler Murray to a non contact knee injury on the third play of the game. Kyler Murray is carted off the field.

He already missed two games due to a hamstring issue. And that's that's the name of the game. The Cardinals got not a damn thing to play for the rest of the season besides evaluation purposes. And the Patriots, they're trying to make their way and hold on to that playoff spot. They have the Raiders up next. The Cardinals, they'll take on the Broncos.

So that actually might be a battle of the backups. And yes, Chef, I called Colt McCoy great. I guess I was falling asleep at the wheel.

Didn't want to bring it up. No, but he's great at what he does standing around doing nothing. He's great at that. Yeah, I most certainly wasn't going to infer that the guy was was great as a starter or QBs. He's a backup. He's great at showing up and collecting a check. And so God knows what that that game will look like between the cards and the Broncos. I most certainly will not watch it, especially knowing that unfortunately for Russell Wilson, man, he got he got more than his bell rung on Sunday. That man just if you asked him what day it was, he might have told you five.

I have no idea. All the best to him in his recovery. Meanwhile, I just told you that Bill Belichick stepped away from the podium. And Mac Jones is speaking to the media live right now.

This moment in Mac Jones, man, he looks he looks tired. Bill Belichick needs to let him out the basement a little bit more often. Bill Belichick just spoke and he says that everybody did their job.

Let's let's hear how enthusiastic Bill Belichick is after this victory tonight. And everybody's got a role and when their numbers called, you know, hopefully they'll come through for us. But these guys work hard.

They all do. And but certainly it's, you know, good to see some of the young guys. And, you know, even schooler Mitchell in the kicking game. And obviously the guys that scored a touchdowns intercept the passes like they're easy to spot. Owen Zappi had some, you know, contributions a little bit earlier in the year when he played.

But but it really it's, you know, just it takes everybody. And I thought we we kind of had that tonight. We had everybody pulling tonight. OK. Bill Belichick got a little in his step. He still sounds semi-miserable.

You sound like you're in a good mood. They lost two games, Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills. And they come back and they beat the Arizona Cardinals. They got big contributions from from their rookies tonight. And then Bill Belichick, he's he pretty much said it.

Yeah. With with the whole team, we got the seventh seed in the playoffs right now. Our young guys are stepping up.

You know, now I let Mac Jones out the basement. Bill Belichick is happy with how the team is doing. Played better. Tough break on the interception. Matt got his arm hit, but I thought we we did some things better. Still got a long way to go. Had some young players step up and make some significant plays in the game.

So it's good to get contributions from everybody. A short week here of Vegas and we'll just kind of keep grinding and try to be ready to go on Sunday. It sounds like Bill Belichick is going to reward himself with an extra glass of wine tonight, I guess. And Mac Jones did throw an interception tonight. It was a tip pass that was intercepted. And I guess Bill Belichick will keep his team, I believe I heard, out west as they get ready to take on Vegas. So as opposed to swinging back east to go back west, stick around so as to not do multiple trips out into the desert.

Doesn't make a damn bit of sense. 855-212-4CBS. That's 855-212-4CBS. Lew is calling from Rochester.

What's up, Lew? You're on CBS Sports Radio. Hi, J.R. That banter with you guys about McCoy's greatness was very entertaining. But listen, that game tonight was painful to watch. The Patriots offense did not look good at all. I'm just wondering what your thoughts are if they do make the playoffs, what might occur with them.

What do you think my answer is going to be? I think you're going to classify Mac Jones in the same class as Cole McCoy. Not quite. At least Mac Jones can go play, you know, winning football. We can rely on him, you know, week to week.

But the fact is, man, come on now. The New England Patriots, yeah, sure, you can go and play any game and win it. The Patriots don't have any expectations to do any big time winning this year.

So if they get into the playoffs, pat on the back, so what? Well, they're not crap, but they're okay. They're what they are. They're good.

And that ain't good enough to win at all, man. We know that. Yeah, I do. Okay. All right. Have a good night. You as well, Lew.

Thank you for calling from Rochester. What am I supposed to say about the Patriots? If they get into the playoffs, oh my God, they just might be able to go on a run. I'm supposed to believe that the New England Patriots, who pretty much, you know, struggle to score, that they're going to beat Miami or that they're going to beat the Chiefs or that they're going to beat the Bills. And I know that the Bills are having their own issues offensively, you know, moving the football right now, especially following that injury to Josh Allen.

It's been downplayed with his arm. The fact is, they haven't been able to move the ball as well. And so, yeah, sure.

Can the Patriots win around? Yeah, good. But who's expecting them to do anything?

Nobody. 855-212-4CBS. It's 855-212-4CBS. Brian is calling from New Orleans. What's up, Brian? You're on CBS Sports Radio. Hey, JR.

Thanks for taking my call. It's kind of funny how I think it was a couple weeks ago, Kyler Murray wasn't playing, and then Colt McCoy comes in, and then me and my buddies look at each other like, he's still in the league? It's crazy to me how, as a backup, you can just play till you're damn near Tom Brady's age.

And then when you come in, nobody really expects you to do something, but maybe kind of keep the team afloat a little bit, complete a couple passes. But at the end of the day, when you have a bad performance, we look at them and go, well, it's Colt McCoy. Who would have thought that Colt McCoy would have been in the league longer than Vince Young? Yeah, it's always odd to me when we do see Colt McCoy, when he has had to come on and relieve Kyler Murray, that he's the backup, that they have to completely switch up their offense. Because one thing we know Colt McCoy is not, he ain't moving. He sure as hell ain't moving like Kyler Murray does. So if you think about a team like the Ravens, and unfortunately even Huntley is in concussion protocol right now, they don't have to completely abandon their offense. Kyler Murray goes down, and you have to switch things up completely. Yeah, and I totally agree with you.

I think that's a perfect example. Huntley, while he's not Lamar Jackson, they have the similar play style. So you don't necessarily have to completely change up your offense for them to function, and we kind of saw that this weekend. I know you said he got hurt, but it's just crazy to me, and it kind of comes with the territory of maybe being a mobile quarterback with Kyler Murray, and it just sucks because now you have all that money tied into Kyler, and you don't even know when you're going to get him back next season. But how big of a disappointment are the Arizona Cardinals? I mean, you add more Keith Brown, D-Hop, you get him back after six games.

You think that this team is at least going to make the playoffs. Well, I mean, year over year since Kliff Kingsbury has taken over, they typically collapse. This year, for different reasons, I mean, how many times do we have to look at it and just say it's a matter of injuries? Oh, well, DeAndre went out, and now Kyler went out. They collectively stink.

It doesn't matter the circumstance. I find people will still every now and then tell me about the incremental victories. Every year they win a few more games, but every year they find a different way to choke.

They're undisciplined, and there comes a point in time. That is also still shocking to me. There's so much that takes place in Arizona that goes over my head. Why Kliff Kingsbury got an extension is beyond me, and you talk about his extension. You talk about Kyler Murray's contract. There are a lot of big-time question marks in Arizona and how they move forward.

It's very interesting. Thank you, Brian, for calling up from New Orleans. 855-212-4CBS. Nate is here from Chicago. You're on the JR Sport Brief Show. Hey, JR. Thanks for taking my call.

Sure. Are we potentially looking at an Andrew Luck 2.0 situation with Kyler Murray calling it retirement after signing that guaranteed contract and never playing again? I don't think Kyler Murray wants to go out this way.

Did he give you a tip? No, he didn't, but you never know if signing that big of a contract and we were talking about his recovery and stuff, if it doesn't go well, is he going to be done? I don't think he wants to go out that way. He's a competitor. He's an athlete. No one wants to leave the field like this, but it's got to be somewhat maybe in the back of our mind with signing that guaranteed contract. For these guys, that's what they're all looking for.

They're shaping and paying their family. I don't think so. I think the only thing that was missing was maybe a return to the Oakland Athletics. I don't think Kyler Murray wants to exit in that way.

You talk about being a competitor. This man has already taken a beating in the court of public opinion. He's taken a beating online.

Even tonight, I saw jokes. This man likely tore his ACL. There are jokes about him playing call of duty in the offseason instead of recovering. Kyler Murray cannot catch a break. I don't think he would exit that way. I know he's still young. He's only 25 years old. He'd be 26 next season during its start, but thinking about an injury because he signed a contract and just saying, see you. I mean, weirder things have happened, Nate, but I think we'll see him back on the field for the cards.

I don't know if he would want to go out that way. Appreciate you for calling up from the shy. 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. Monday Night Football. It's a wrap. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. Thank you, first off, for making my drive from the south side of Atlanta to the north side every night bearable. I always enjoy listening to you, man.

Intellectual and introspective. I appreciate you. I just started to listen to you about six months ago. Man, I love your show.

Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. New England wins over Arizona, caps a big week here in the NFL. New England, they get the seventh spot in the playoffs for right now. They're going to try to hold on to it as they take on the Raiders next week. Arizona, they probably are going to miss Kyler Murray for the rest of the season. Who knows how long he'll be out as we await word on whether or not he officially, quote-unquote, tore his ACL. Goes down on a non-contact injury on the third play of the game.

And so we've seen a lot take place here over the past, you know, 24, 48 hours. Cowboys giving everybody a little bit of a scare as they hold off the Texans. The Detroit Lions still looking like a decent football team. Even the Panthers, they've been even. They're 4-4 since Steve Wilks took over and they end up beating Seattle.

The Chiefs took a little bit of something. They hold on to beat the Broncos. Russell Wilson goes down to a concussion. The Bills, they were able to hold off the Jets.

Tom Brady, he's absolutely destroyed against the 49ers. 24 hours ago, Sunday Night Football, we saw the Chargers. I don't know what the hell happened with Tuatanga Veloa, but the Chargers, they walk away with a victory. And the Chargers held that last playoff spot until the Patriots won about an hour ago. And so there's a lot going on all over the place in the NFL. Deebo, Samuel's injury, it's just a busy, busy time. 5-5, 2-1-2 for CBS.

That's 8-5-5, 2-1-2 for CBS. It appears that the quarterbacks who have participated in tonight's game have spoken. We saw Mac Jones. We talked about Mac Jones. I told you that Bill Belichick let him out the basement for a little bit, even though he still looks like he's been sleeping there. And Colt McCoy, he decided to have a little bit of a chat as well. But knowing that Kyler Murray went down and this game was pretty much curtains from there, Mac Jones says that the Patriots fans gave him a boost.

Take a listen to this. The fans showed up today really well. Patriot fans were here and were loud, and I think it actually really helped us to bring up the energy. And it's always good when the fans can have our back on the road game. So really good to see that. And we came here to win, and that was the important part.

We came out with the win however we had to do it, and I think it was a team win. And we're going to watch the film and get better. Oh man, it sounds like every time he answers a question, he has to ask Bill Belichick if it's okay to speak. Like it's just, Mac Jones be out there getting fiery though.

So I need the behind-the-scenes Mac Jones. I need to hear that at the press conference. Colt McCoy, the man who had to come on and relieve Kyler Murray after going down that non-contact knee injury. Colt McCoy, this is what he had to say after the game.

Listen. Tough, right? I mean, you never want to see that happen to anybody. It's tough. We hurt ourselves tonight just situationally, you know, the shifting penalties that took away two explosive passes. You know, I missed Hollywood down in the red zone, kind of a scramble, almost created play.

Really wish I could have that one back. We had our opportunities, right? We had an opportunity and plus territory right before the half to kick a field goal or get points, and we didn't do it. They finished the half of the field goal and started the second half of the field goal, and all of a sudden, you know, you're tied up. It's tough. That's what happens with a Cliff Kingsbury team.

For some reason, things are always tough. The New England Patriots, who aren't the most explosive of offenses, they could also think their defense, they were able to score 20 unanswered points. 8-5-5-2-1-2 for CBS, 8-5-5-2-1-2 for CBS.

Marcus Collin from Nova Scotia. You're on CBS Sports Radio. Chair, good to talk to you again.

And it's interesting because I called about an hour ago, and I get it, you're popular. And I've had many different reactions now because what has happened. So, now, yeah, I'm rambling, but here's the deal.

I'm also now confused, but it's okay. What's on your mind? Well, here's the thing.

I wanted to call about the offenses and how they're terrible now, but you've made up some, like, there's all kinds of points going on, and here's the thing. Okay. I'm a big Kyler Murray fan.

I'm a big Kyler Murray fan. Okay. Yeah.

And, you know, it was sad what happened tonight, and he's had a bad year, Kyler wise. Yeah. I think Cliff Kingsbury needs to be fired. Yeah, well, I think that'll happen. Yeah, well, I actually hope it will. Okay. And, you know, but, like, let's talk about this offense in the NFL.

Well, no, no, no, let's not do that, Mark. I got a better question for you. At this time of year, what's going all the way up on there in Nova Scotia? What can I do at this time of year in Nova Scotia? You come down here, get our pubs, have some drinks. Oh, okay. Have a good time.

Is that what you did? Nah, well, yeah, man, but I got some points. What's the, no, okay, yeah, you got points. What's the temperature?

I do, I do. What's the temperature in Nova Scotia right now? We're looking like about, oh, we do Celsius. Yeah, I know you do Celsius. Give it to me in Fahrenheit.

I think it's about 20, 20? Oh, that's okay. I felt worse in Canada. That's warm. Hey, Mark, I appreciate you for calling, man. All right. Yeah. All right.

What a shock, right? Hey, what are you doing up in Nova Scotia right now? Well, you know, I'm just up here hitting the pubs. Just up here hitting the pubs. Nova Scotia is as far as hell.

The only time I pass Nova Scotia is coming back from the United Kingdom. Mark would be better than Colt McCoy tonight, JR. Who? Mark from Nova Scotia would have been better than Colt McCoy tonight. I don't know if he'd pass the test to get on the field.

855-212-4CBS. They gave that guy a breathalyzer. Oh, man, it'd be curtains. Hey, Tony's calling from New Orleans. He knows about our breathalyzers right on Canal and Bourbon and Chopper 2. Tony, you're on CBS Sports Radio. Oh, yes, we do down here.

You can drink 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Come on down to New Orleans, the big easy. But, JR, I want to find out why the last few years since Tom Brady packed his bags and went to Tampa Bay, why the media is so easy on Bill Belichick because years ago he was, oh, quoted as the greatest coach of all time. Well, he was great when he had Tom Brady and Gronk on his team, but now he seems like he's struggling. Why hasn't the media asked him, Coach, I thought you were a legendary coach, which seems to be the problem now. Why can't you coach these players?

His team is very boring now. Oh, my God. Have you not heard people all over the damn place say what you just said? I've heard it quite a bit. I think it's also ridiculous, but I don't know where you've been.

People have been critical of Bill Belichick, whether it's his play calling, it's, oh, what can he do or not do with Tom Brady? Where have you been? No, no, no, I agree with you, JR. I mean, you know sports, you do this every day. Okay.

But what my question was is, yeah, people talk about it on their radio, on their television shows. I want somebody to put the mic in Bill Belichick's face and put him on the spot and have somebody in the media ask him on the spot the question, why can't you coach these players? And let me ask you another question, JR. Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down. Tony, have you been on Bourbon Street?

No, no, I haven't had anything to drink tonight. Good, good, so hold on for a second. I actually think the New England Patriots, all things considered, for the amount of talent and the type of talent they have, the fact that in that crap COVID year with Cam Newton, they went 7-9, I have no idea how they did that because they had no offense. Last year with the rookie quarterback, they went 10-7. Right now, still with a mediocre offense and a defense, that's Bill Belichick's calling card, their defense has scored and forced more points or forced turnovers into more points than anybody. They're 7-6. They're going into the playoffs. Have you looked at the talent they have and what the results have been over the past few years?

Yeah, I mean, they don't have any really big star players on their roster like they've had in – But you can't omit that and look at the results. I would say if I took maybe half of the coaches in the league and I said, here, work with the New England Patriots, they would probably be on their way, I don't know, to a high draft pick, man. Give Belichick a break, man. Look at the results. And my last question, my last question, Gar, and I'm going to hang up and listen to you.

Please, quickly. Why would the relationship that Tom Brady had through the years and still does to this day with the owner, Robert Kraft, why isn't he still a New England Patriot? I mean, did it fall down to money?

Why didn't they restructure the contract? Tony, Tony, did you bump your head and wake up? Have you been asleep for the past three years? I think Tony has been – I think Tony's been in the time warp, man. You're asking me about why isn't Tom Brady still a Patriot? What year are we in?

It's 2022. Tom Brady has been gone. He's won the championship. He's now getting his ass whooped. Leave Tom Brady in Tampa and leave Belichick in New England and let's move forward. It's the JR Sport Reshow here on CBS Sports Radio.
