I'm hanging out with my main man Manny Rodriguez, he's holding it down on the other side of the glass.

And we got a lot to do here over the next 4 hours. If you wanna give me a holler, it's very simple, we got a phone number, it's 855-212-4CBS, that's 855-212-4CBS. If you're safe in your vehicle, if you are safe in your car, if you have your hands free, you can give me a holler.

I'm at JR Sport Brief on all social media. I'm gonna give a big shout out to everybody on the road right now. This is the biggest travel day, I don't know of the entire year, but I know this is the travel day. We got people gonna go see grandma, we have people gonna go see their mother, we have people gonna go visit their in-laws, we got people listening to me right now who are sitting in traffic. And listen, I understand, I am not currently sitting in traffic, but I understand, believe me, you might wanna get out the car, and maybe you might wanna, you know, physically assault someone, but I don't want you to do that, that's terrible. I want you to relax, I want you to breathe, because for the next 4 hours, I'm gonna have a good time. And I hope you get to grandma's house in the same amount of time, but I'm gonna have a good time. It's Wednesday night, it's the night before Thanksgiving, and we got a lot to talk about. First of all, because the NFL continues to evolve every year, every season, not only do we have 18 games in the regular season, we also have 3 games on Thanksgiving. We're gonna talk about those games.

Very easy. We're gonna talk about the Los Angeles Lakers. Yeah, there are a lot of Laker fans all over the country, and the Lakers have a guy on the roster who doesn't do a damn thing, but be a pain in the behind. Typically, I would say ass, but I know people are driving with their families, so I said it once already, a behind, the behind. His name is Patrick Beverley.

LeBron James has been hurt, Anthony Davis has actually been playing up to par, and then Patrick Beverley, his greatest accomplishment, is pushing people in the back. We'll get there. Miss America, yes, you heard that right. Miss America will join us here over the next 4 hours. Yeah, I know Miss America. Yeah, for whatever, sue me. Yeah, I know Miss America, okay?

She's from Alaska, she's Korean American, she does a lot of great work with Special Olympics. We're gonna talk to Miss America. It's gonna be a fun conversation. It's Wednesday night. I'm pulling you closer to Thursday morning and Thanksgiving, so of course, I'm gonna give you a top 6 list of things that I'm thankful for here in the year 2022. And then I'm gonna talk to you.

I'm gonna get your opinions, I'm gonna get your thoughts as well. So it's very simple. And then, this happened today, and I'm not surprised, maybe a little bit, 5%, 10% surprised, but not really. It's the benching of Zach Wilson with the New York Jets. Most people wouldn't know Mike White if he walked by them in the street.

And Mike White is gonna be the starting quarterback for the New York Jets. We're gonna talk about it, so don't worry about it. Here's the deal, if you wanna talk to me, it's simple.

We got a phone number, it's connected to multiple lines, and it reads as follows, 855-212-4CBS, that's 855-212-4CBS. If you wanna talk to me, it's very simple. As long as you don't have your hands on a steering wheel right now, you can talk to me at JR Sport Brief. If you follow me at JR Sport Brief, you will already know what we're gonna talk about. Before we do any of that, I have to ask our producer for the night.

Holding it down for Dave Shepherd, Manny Rodriguez. Manny, how are you this evening? You doing good, man, what's up? Happy holidays, JR. How are you, man?

Happy holidays to you as well, man. You doing good? I can't complain, man. I'm here in Manhattan on a Wednesday night, hanging out with JR. Listen, we're gonna have fun. You ready for fun? Absolutely. Yeah, I don't know what you do all these other nights, but we're gonna have fun. I don't care what goes on. And shout-outs to my main man, Manny Rodriguez.

You just heard from Manny. It's a Wednesday night. It's the night before Thanksgiving.

We got people all over the country, really. They're readying for the holiday. They might be cooking, they might be driving, they might be preparing, they might be relaxing. God bless you if you're relaxing. You might be, I don't know, playing in your backyard right now.

I have no idea. You might be in the back of the bar or the restaurant. And if you're in the back of the bar or the restaurant, save me some food, save me a drink. But besides that, we know what we're gearing up to for tomorrow. We're gonna have people all over the United States of America who are gonna sit down, they're gonna have turkey, they're gonna have ham, they're gonna have, I don't know. Hey, Manny, what else do people eat for Thanksgiving?

I don't know, stuffing. Stuffing, cranberry, ham, mashed taters. I love mashed potatoes.

Yeah, mashed potatoes, collard greens, macaroni and cheese. They're gonna have all types of pie, right? Oh, pumpkin, please. Pumpkin pie, my favorite. Pumpkin pie, pecan pie. Delicious. Apple pie. Stop, JR. Oh, no, there's a combination. There's apple peach cobbler and they gonna have people that be drunk on their ass tomorrow. Do not be someone who is drunk on their ass. Don't do that. But here's the deal. It doesn't matter what Thanksgiving I have attended over the past, I don't know, trillion years, the television has always been on in the background.

It doesn't matter if it's a man, a woman, a young man, a young woman, a middle-aged person, it doesn't matter. Somehow, some way, there has always been someone in the house, in my damn house, it's me, who's watching football. And the NFL has blessed us over the past several seasons. It's a tradition. The Lions play on Thanksgiving.

They help open things up. It's the Lions, who cares? They're playing football, they'll probably lose, but it's the Lions. Thank you, Detroit, and thank you for the Lions for giving us football to open up the Thursday on Thanksgiving. Thank you, Lions. Thank you, Lions, and then we move on to the Cowboys. And then the NFL has blessed us so much that we have a third game for the past several seasons. In this year, the nightcap on NBC will be the New England Patriots versus the Minnesota Vikings. The first game tomorrow will be Buffalo versus Detroit. The second game, two NFC rivals. We're going to see the New York Giants take on the Dallas Cowboys. And I'm going to sit down and I will watch every single one of these games. Because what else I got to do?

Besides eat and relax, I'm going to do this. And it's not like these games are meaningless. All of these games actually serve a purpose on Thanksgiving. Typically on Thanksgiving, you can look at the Lions and go, nope, this will be the only time I watch the Lions. They're going to suck. The Lions this year are four and six. The Buffalo Bills this season, they are seven and three. The Buffalo Bills are trying to regain their spot at the top of the AFC East. The Buffalo Bills are trying to push the button and let everybody know, hey, we're still here and we are still tops in the AFC. The Buffalo Bills are trying to hit that button.

That's going to be the first game we get tomorrow. And Josh Allen, he made it very clear in talking to the media that he even remembers watching Thanksgiving Day games as a kid, just like me, listen to this. Knowing that everybody's sitting at home, probably bellies full or about to get their bellies full, watching football. I remember that as a kid the most, whether it was at our house or one of our friend's house, just eating as much as possible and watching the games. And again, I was a huge fan of football. I'm still a huge fan of football. So I still remember watching those games as a kid.

Who doesn't remember watching those games as a kid? It's simple. I just told you Lions Cowboys. That's it. When the Dallas Cowboys were over, hopefully that was a signal for you to go home, stick around for a little while, but then leave.

Now we got three games. Now it's even more difficult for people to leave the house. And please listen, folks, don't be that person who just sticks around. Don't be that person who is just lingering in the house while everybody else leaves. If it's not your house, obviously.

When people start to go, you go, leave. But anyway, the Detroit Lions always open things up with that first game tomorrow. They're going to take on Buffalo at 1230 p.m. Eastern time. The Detroit Lions, yes, of what has typically been a crap football team. The Detroit Lions have won three consecutive games. They beat the Green Bay Packers.

Oh my goodness. Yeah, the team with Aaron Rodgers. They beat them. They barely beat the Chicago Bears. And then this past Sunday, the Detroit Lions, they beat the New York Giants 31 to 18. The Lions offense, oh, they've been serviceable. They've been able to score points, but the Lions defense, man, oh man, they have been giving up some ass whoopings.

And so they're going to take on a Buffalo Bills team that in the preseason, a lot of people looked at them and said, man, they're going to go straight to the Super Bowl. And so this Lions team, which is four and six, they don't have anything to play for. The Lions can look towards the NFL draft. They can look towards multiple ass whoopings on their way there, but the Lions are basically going through the remainder of this season and the developmental process.

And they're also trying to develop an identity. Home games on Thanksgiving for the New York Lions and games on Thanksgiving for the Lions, always, they aren't necessarily so hot. They're not necessarily always jumping, but their head coach, Dan Campbell, every time he opens up his mouth, he's saying something wild. He's talking about his own players biting off kneecaps. He's talking about his own players, I don't know, just being aggressive. But this time in this go round, he expects Ford Field tomorrow in Detroit to be bumping.

Listen to this. That was one of the first things I thought of after this game on the plane ride home is like, man, this place is going to be, cause it's been good. I mean, it's been electric and I can only imagine now. I already know it's going to be on fire. So, you know, it's going to be great. Oh, Ford Field in Detroit on fire?

On Thanksgiving? Okay. I know Dan Campbell has only been around for a year. I know this is his second full season as an NFL head coach, but where has he been? On fire?

Okay. In my lifetime, I can't remember the Detroit Lions being on fire for anything, I'm sorry. The organization has been on fire, but the actual football team?

Not so much, I don't recall that. And so that is the first match up and God bless them. The Buffalo Bills trying to right the ship against the Lions and they should. If the Buffalo Bills lose to the Lions tomorrow on Thanksgiving, the Buffalo Bills, despite their injuries to the secondary, the Buffalo Bills, they should just go on vacation.

They should go to the playoffs and lose because they are wasting every one's time. If you're a betting man, if you're a betting woman, pick the Bills. They're the favorite. If you got money to blow and you want to pick an underdog, go ahead, pick the Lions. The Lions historically have sucked. The second game after the Lions and the Bills get together, it's an NFC East matchup. It's the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys, two teams that are seven and three. The Giants just lost to these Lions. The Cowboys just beat up the Vikings 40 to three. The Dallas Cowboys have one of the best defenses right now in the NFL and they're trying to show everybody that they do.

They want to just eviscerate. The New York Giants. They want to let everybody know that it doesn't matter who's on the top of the NFC East. That would happen to be the Philadelphia Eagles. The Dallas Cowboys are trying to show everybody that we can peak late, that our defense is amazing with multiple stars on multiple levels of the defense. Micah Parsons all the way to digs and that their offense, despite not having a lot of defense, despite not having, I don't know, a Dez Bryant or a Jason Witten or a Michael Irving, that their offense can still get the job done with a developing Michael Gallup or a C.D. Lamb.

We got to see it. What is Pollard going to do? What is Ezekiel Elliott going to do? Who is going to just really go out tomorrow and lay their claim for a potential playoff spot in the NFC East? Mike McCarthy, he spoke to the media and even though it's Thanksgiving, he let everybody know, and this is a lie, he said it is a normal Thanksgiving Day game, liar.

I would say you really don't have any time to even enjoy the win. So I think it's a normal Thursday game. I mean, we've got another one. You know, on the Christmas holiday, too. So, I mean, this is, you know, this is a challenge every year. Obviously, there's some familiarity with it.

You know, being at home obviously helps. Liar. Liar, liar, liar. What is he talking about? This ain't no regular Thursday Thanksgiving. This isn't a regular Thursday football game.

Shut up. NFL coaches coming out lying. NFL players coming out lying. This is a Thanksgiving Day game. People are going to be sitting around all over North America watching this game. People who don't typically watch football will be tuned in to this game.

The Dallas Cowboys are synonymous with Thanksgiving. So to call this just a regular Thursday night game, Mike McCarthy, shut up with the lies. Of course, he's going to say anything. Oh, he's the head coach.

He wants to make sure his players are focused, but that's a lie. Shut up. Anyway, the New York Giants, they just lost to the Lions.

Pathetic. The New York Giants, their quarterback, Daniel Jones, he isn't saying that this is a regular Thursday night game. He's not saying this is a regular game on a Thursday. Daniel Jones made it very clear that this game on Thanksgiving in Dallas is a huge opportunity. Is a huge opportunity for the New York Giants. It's a huge opportunity for us. It's a divisional game against a rival and on Thanksgiving. So huge game, huge opportunity for us. And, you know, we've got to go out and play our best ball, play as well as we can and, you know, see how it goes.

Yeah, sure, whatever. Just see how it goes. Yeah, we'll see how it goes. Hopefully, for Daniel Jones, it goes in a positive direction. Hopefully, for Daniel Jones, he can actually find a wide receiver. Wandel Robinson out with an ACL and Sterling Shepherd.

His knee has been blasted to smithereens. And I don't even know who's on the wide receiver group for the New York Giants. Just toss the ball to Saquon Barkley and tell him, hey, man, just get us some yards. That's basically been the New York Giants game plan all season long. That'll be the prime time match up.

Maybe not prime time in regards to time. That will be the game that everybody tunes in for. The New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. And then we got a nightcap.

How about this? The New England Patriots at six and four take on the Minnesota Vikings at eight and two. The team's going to be the New York Giants and two, the team that just lost to the Cowboys at four and three. Minnesota, they're trying to show that they're not a joke.

After losing to the Dallas Cowboys and only scoring three points at home, they are looking to make some noise against one of the top rated defenses in the NFL. That's Bill Belichick's squad and the New England Patriots. First year head coach, Kevin O'Connell. This is what he had to say about facing Bill Belichick. I've had the chance as an assistant on some other teams to have some dialogue with him pregame and different interactions with him.

You really can't put any kind of term on how much respect I have for him as far as the person, the coach, the leader, what he's meant to this league. Yeah, it's Bill Belichick. Sure, we like Bill Belichick because he's Belichick, but you don't have to kiss his ass that much.

It's Belichick. And let's really see how the Minnesota Vikings bounce back after losing this past Sunday to the Cowboys being annihilated 40 to three. The New England Patriots, they're only giving up about 16 points per game. Let's see if Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson can go out there and actually accumulate some yards.

This is a beautiful thing. The day before Thanksgiving, the night before Thanksgiving, three NFL games that will hold us down on Thanksgiving. We have Buffalo at Detroit. We have the New York Giants at the Dallas Cowboys. We have the New England Patriots at the Minnesota Vikings.

It's very simple. What game are you looking forward to the most? We got the phone lines open here. 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. It's Thanksgiving Eve. What NFL game are you looking forward to the most? What do you want to see take place on Thanksgiving?

The phone lines are open, and then we'll talk to you on the other side of the break. And then also, I want to talk to you about a head coach in the NFL. Unfortunately, he didn't even make it to Thanksgiving. He might have some larger issues and some larger problems. We'll talk about that on the other side.

Happy pre-Thanksgiving. It's the J.R. Sportbrief show on CBS Sports Radio. You are listening to the J.R. Sportbrief on CBS Sports Radio. You are listening to the J.R. Sportbrief on CBS Sports Radio. Mike is calling from Harrisburg and PA. Mike, you're on CBS Sports Radio. What's up? Hey, Mike. Thanks for having me.

No, you're Mike, man. I'm J.R. Man, that's a bad start to call. Let me see if I can fix this.

Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. Listen, everybody's entitled to their own foibles. Yeah, I said foibles.

I do what I want here. It's the J.R. Sportbrief show on CBS Sports Radio. It's the night before Thanksgiving. We have three NFL games on deck.

Yeah, it's been an expansion. Typically, we have Detroit hosting. We have Dallas hosting.

And then for the past, I don't know, it feels like 10 years, we've had a little bit of a swing game. So the matchups, we have Buffalo at Detroit. We have the New York Giants at the Dallas Cowboys, an NFC East matchup, which will probably determine some of the playoff positioning. We have New England at Minnesota. That is the swing game on NBC.

And I have a very simple question for Thanksgiving. What game are you looking forward to the most? I want to see, I'm looking forward to all three games. I want to see if Buffalo can right the ship and annihilate Detroit. Detroit just beat the Giants.

I want to see if the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys actually have a competitive matchup to help decide who's going to have a stronger foot in the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys just smashed the Minnesota Vikings 40 to 3. And then at night, New England at Minnesota? New England has one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Is Minnesota going to be stymied again? I can't imagine the New England Patriots putting up 40 points to their three, but we know this, Bill Belichick is not just going to lie down. 8-5-5, 2-1-2 for CBS. That's 8-5-5, 2-1-2 for CBS. What are you looking forward to?

What game are you looking forward to the most for Thanksgiving? Susan, she's calling from Eugene, Oregon. You're on the JR Sport Brief Show, CBS Sports Radio. Go ahead, Susan.

Hi, JR. Happy Thanksgiving, Eve. And like you, I'm going to be watching all three games. And if I had to choose, I think I'm looking forward to the Viking game simply because I want to know if they'll be able to bounce back and if Kirk Cousins can get him or his offense can protect him so he doesn't get sacked for many times. Okay. Who do you think New England will win tomorrow or do you think Minnesota will bounce back at home? I'm thinking Minnesota will bounce back. Okay. I'm in agreement with you. I know the New England Patriots have one of the best defenses.

I don't know if Minnesota can be as bad as they were a few nights ago, only scoring three points. Susan, I wish you a happy Thanksgiving. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. You have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Thank you. Let's go from one side of the country to the other. Let's go to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and let us talk to Patrick. Hey, Patrick, you're on CBS Sports Radio. What are you looking forward to tomorrow? What's up? Hey, JR.

Thanks for taking the call, man. I'm a huge fan of the show. I'm looking forward to the Detroit Buffalo game the most. I fully expect the Bills to win, but I'm a Dan Campbell fan. So I'm just looking forward to see if the Lions can hold their own against the Bills coming off three straight wins.

I would just like to see them not to get annihilated. And before I go, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Let's slow down for a minute. You don't have to go anywhere right now, do you?

You gonna hang up on me? Oh, nope. Okay. So here's my question.

Thank you. Why are you a Dan Campbell fan? Well, I'm from Pittsburgh.

The Steelers are my team. Yes. And so I kind of look at Dan Campbell in the same light as Mike Tomlin. I just kind of don't think he's the greatest X's and O's coach, but I see him as a great leader of men.

No, understood. He's a former player. I think there's a lot of, or there's a lot to relate to about him. And me personally, I, I love a Dan Campbell press conference. It's, he's full of emotion. In certain instances, he's full of violence.

I'm not a violent person, but Dan Campbell, he's entertaining. I appreciate him. So I understand that Patrick, what was your final point? Oh, I just wanted to say that, um, I'm unfortunately can't watch the game tomorrow because I'm a registered nurse. So I just wanted to give a shout out to all the other nurses and healthcare workers that have to work.

I hear that. Well, thank you, Patrick, for making sure that, uh, if I was to say, or that, uh, if I screw something up, what do you, what do you give me? You going to take my blood? Are you going to help me out?

What happens? I'm an ER nurse. So if something happens tomorrow, you might have to come see me. If I eat too much food? Uh, maybe. Yeah. It's, what is that called if I eat too much? Is that called constipation or is that something different?

Uh, well, if you start off eating too much food, you might get it like a bowel obstruction or something like that. So you don't want that. Yeah.

I don't, I don't want anything having to do with my bowels. Hey, Patrick, thank you for calling from Pittsburgh, man. Appreciate you. You have a good Thanksgiving, JR.

Thank you so much. Hey, it's shout outs to everybody who will be working tomorrow. I ain't going to be working, but, uh, I certainly understand work. I work too damn much.

Listen, we got people who want Thanksgiving. We'll be protecting you, taking care of you, looking out for you in case you have a, an accident, whether it be inside your home, whether it be outside in a vehicle. And so thank you to everybody who is going to be out there on call, making sure that things still run smoothly.

It's it's tough. Dog is calling from North Carolina. You're on CBS sports radio. What's up? JR.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your fam and Manny and you and your fam too. Thank you. Hey, my brother. Um, I was, well, I ain't on the level that your last caller was on, but, uh, I cleaned dialysis centers. So when they open, I got to go clean.

And, uh, oh, is that, uh, you clean dialysis centers? Yeah. Okay.

Thank you. It's a lot of, is that a lot of pee involved? I mean, I don't know.

It's a lot of, it's a lot of everything. Okay. Okay. Keep going. Nevermind. Keep going. Like I was telling my man, I was telling my man, man, um, I'm a date myself a little bit. I'll be 53 Monday, but, um, in your opinion and well, I'm gonna give you mine. Well, ask me the, ask me the question first.

What do you want to know? Okay. Um, as far as watching football on Thanksgiving, who do you think was one of the standout, uh, players that played on Thanksgiving?

Oh, easy. Randy Moss busting the Cowboys ass. What was that?

98. He, he, he, he pulled in about what, 150 something odd yards, had three touchdowns and he had three receptions. Randy Moss was whooping ass that year, his rookie season. Yes, sir. Hey, he did blister him. He put it on the map.

Yeah. Now my man, and he wasn't my man, but I love, I love football first. I'm a Steelers fan, but back in the seventies, the Steelers and the Cowboys used to play each other. Every Thanksgiving in the eighties, bro, Barry Sander was probably the best thing to happen on Thanksgiving besides good food. Cause that's about the only time you really got to see him play on TV.

And he put on a show every year. He went to lose that they played, um, on Thanksgiving, my brother. And I got one more question for you. Yes. Um, what is your, what is your favorite side dish when the family get together for Thanksgiving? Oh man.

What's my favorite. Oh man. You know, dog, there's certain questions that, that, that will not receive appropriate answers over the air. Okay. I got you my brother.

Well, thank you dog for calling up from North Carolina. You get my drift. Okay.

I'm with you. Hey y'all. Hey, God bless you. And, uh, get the itis. That's what we call it down here.

Well, listen, man, I think the itis is universal and I typically have it every time I eat. So thank you so much dog for calling from North Carolina. Yes, sir. All right. Thank you dog for calling from NC.

Don't ask me what I like to eat on Thanksgiving. Anyway, I'm a dolt of this break before I get in trouble. It's the JR sport reshow on CBS sports radio. We're going to take more of your calls on the other side of the break.

I still want to talk to you about, uh, someone who got in trouble over the weekend. We're going to get into LeBron. We're going to talk about Zach Wilson being bench.

I'm going to give you a top six list of things I'm thankful for in 2022. You are listening to the JR sport brief on CBS sports radio. You are listening to the JR sport brief on CBS sports radio. It's the great JR man.

You're so, so awesome. We appreciate listening to you on a regular basis. Call in now at eight five five two one two four CBS. It's the JR sport brief show here with you on CBS sports radio. We've been talking about the Thanksgiving games that will take place tomorrow.

Buffalo at Detroit, the New York giants at Dallas, New England at Minnesota. And I got to tell you, yeah, we got a full day of football. You can start in the afternoon. You can go into the evening, but I mean, damn, enjoy it. Don't enjoy it too much. We always have that person on Thanksgiving who has a little bit too much fun, a little bit too much to drink.

They might end up in the corner or they might still be loosened and they might be talking all types of craziness. Unfortunately, I have to share with you a story today that we've learned in the NFL. This has nothing to do with Thanksgiving, but this NFL coach might have had a little bit too much to drink.

He might have had he might have been in unfamiliar territory and he might have been feeling himself. That is Sean Coogler of the Arizona Cardinals or formerly of the Arizona Cardinals. He is not Cliff Kingsbury. You have probably never heard of this man in your life, but Sean Coogler was the offensive line coach for the Arizona Cardinals. The team that just went to Mexico City got beat up by the 49ers 38 to 10. Sean Coogler was the offensive line coach and let me just give you a quick, uh, I give you a quick kind of timeline. The team, the Arizona Cardinals arrived on Saturday night, Saturday for a Monday night game. On Sunday night, Sean Coogler decided, and we don't know the details, I certainly do not need them. He decided to grope someone in Mexico City.

The team, the Arizona Cardinals decided to send him back on Monday morning and now he is no longer a member of the Arizona Cardinals. Man, you just can't roll up to Mexico thinking that you can do whatever the hell you want and let this be a lesson learned for anyone moving into unfamiliar territory over the next 24 hours. Just because you're in a house that you do not know, just because you are amongst individuals that you do not know personally, mind your business. Sean Coogler took it to a whole different level deciding to grope someone in Mexico City. We do not know the details.

I do not know them. I know that what the Arizona Cardinals know was enough to fire this man and so let this be a lesson learned. Keep your damn hands to yourself over Thanksgiving. 855-212-4CBS that's 855-212-4CBS. I'm going to take more of your calls right now when we get to the top of the hour. We're going to talk about Zach Wilson.

This man has been benched. Len is calling from Knoxville, Tennessee. You're on CBS Sports Radio. Hey JR, good to talk with you.

A long time caller, first time listener. How about that? Thank you so much. Hey, yeah, is it okay if I pick a team that I want to see play tomorrow? Yeah, go for it.

Yeah, go for it. Well, you know, Knoxville is home to the original UT, the original Orange and White. I'm looking forward to seeing the Vols play Southern California tomorrow. They just beat Butler and if they win this game, they could potentially play Kansas, which is a number three team. Watching the Vols this year, you know, they beat Gonzaga in that scrimmage pretty really handily. I can't remember.

I want to say it was 30 points. We feel like they can play with anyone in the nation even though they had a bad loss against Colorado and so that would be something I look forward to in a couple days. Well, amazing, Len. Well, let me ask you this. Are you done talking about Tennessee's football team? You know what, JR?

I was at, I'm 53 and I don't get out much and I went to a somebody's 50-year birthday party which was a disco party and I love disco because that's my era and I had such a good time that I could just barely glance at the game and I was so glad for that party because I didn't have to partake in that. You didn't really have a chance to soak in of the torn ACLs and fallen rankings? No, I did not. I did not and then putting Cedric Tillman out there with a bum ankle and he hurt his ankle again. I was having kids going through sports, you know, it's high ankle spraying, whatever.

That's not good for any of those young men. That's right. All right, well, listen, Len. Make sure you turn on the disco tomorrow, okay? Yes, sir.

Have a great night. Thank you. Thank you so much, Len, for calling from Knoxville. Let's go from Knoxville, Tennessee to Houston, Texas and talk to Daniel. You're on the JR Sport Reshow on CBS. What's up, Daniel? Hey, JR. I appreciate the line, man. Thank you. Dig your shell, man. I'm not often driving this time at this time, but I figured I'd drop the line on this Thanksgiving Eve.

God bless you and all your listeners. I'm a diehard Lions fan, man, and actually fired up in the first time in a long time and I was so mad at the NFL. I'm like, if we actually beat the Giants, I'm gonna be really mad at the NFL for letting Buffalo chill all week in Detroit and then I find out that Buffalo actually flew back.

So the fact that they did that, I'm a little more optimistic about the game. That was really, that decision doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Well, they had to fly to Detroit. It wasn't like they planned to go to Detroit. They had to go to Detroit because that snowstorm was whooping Buffalo's ass.

No, for sure, but why would they fly home for like two days and then fly back again? Like that was really, I was mad. Daniel, stop. Daniel, do you wear undergarments?

I don't know, man. Detroit's got Walmart. Well, I mean, if I'm making, if I'm making $30 million a year, I don't know if I want to go to Walmart to get my undergarments, you know. Yeah, thank you Kawhi Leonard.

I want to go home to get my drawers, man, and come back. It's not that long of a flight. I mean, come on.

No, it's not. I'm glad they did it, man, because it's a short week. It evened things out. My man Okuda was just starting to ball out in the defensive back and he's concussing out. So that definitely stinks, but man, we're gonna run the ball on him. Our boys up front, I'm proud that the nation, you're going to see some of the best offensive linemen in the NFL believe that. Watch Kenny Sewell move people tomorrow. Well, he just got drafted.

America's going to find out about him. Thank you, Daniel, for calling from Houston. Look, man, I can't fault anyone who wants to leave Detroit to go to Buffalo to come back just so they can pick up their underwear. There's nothing wrong with that.

Nothing at all. It's the JR Sportbree show here with you on CBS Sports Radio 855-2124 CBS. I hope everybody listening to me, sitting in their cars, sitting in traffic, going to grandma's house.

I hope you have underwear. Anyway, when we come back at the top of the hour, I'm going to talk about this. I'm going to talk about someone who, uh, yeah, he just got drafted as well. His name is Zach Wilson and he is already finding the bench. It's the JR Sportbree show. CBS Sports Radio.
