You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. And we are coming to you live from the Rocket Mortgage studios.

Whether you want to buy a home or refinance your current one, Rocket can. Happy Wednesday night to you. Happy hump day to you. I'm going to be here with you for the next four hours. This is when I get started at 10 p.m. Eastern Time, 7 p.m. Pacific.

I'm being joined by super producer and host Dave Shepherd and a big thank you to you for listening. You could be driving in your car, driving in your truck, driving to work, driving from home. I don't care where you're at or what you're doing. I don't care where you're at, where you're from, what the hell you're doing. I'm going to be here for the next four hours. So here's the deal. As I do every single Wednesday night into Thursday morning, two hours from now, I'm going to deliver to you a new top six list.

That's what I do Wednesday nights into Thursday morning. And this is the exciting thing. We are less than 24 hours away from the start of the NFL season. And so of course, tonight's top six is going to be about the top six teams in the NFL heading into the 2022 season. And so we'll do that two hours from now amongst many other things. Lamar Jackson, he is pretty much handed down a deadline to the Baltimore Ravens for him to get and receive a contract extension.

I'll tell you when that deadline is. We're going to talk about the bills and the Rams momentarily. We mentioned to you earlier this week, the Dallas Cowboys. Jason Peters is a long time Eagle and now he's a, he's a cowboy.

He's changing his tune. The New York Jets will be without Zach Wilson to start their season. Aaron Judge, speaking of a New York team, even though the Jets play in New Jersey, Aaron Judge hit another home run. And then next hour as well, we're going to have a conversation with Mark Schlereth, three times Super Bowl champion, former offensive lineman. I'm going to ask him about some of these offensive linemen. I'll ask him about Jason Peters.

And then before we get to the top six, I'm going to ask him who he believes is the team that sits at the top of the totem pole. Here's the deal. You want to talk to me here at CBS Sports Radio?

It's real simple. The number is 855-212-4CBS. That's 855-212-4CBS. You can also find me. I'm online.

That is at JR Sport Brief. If you follow me there, you pretty much have an idea of everything that we will be discussing for the next four hours. And let's not waste any time. If you're like me, today is almost like a holiday. If you're like me, this is almost like Christmas Eve. This is like New Year's Eve.

This is like the dawn of something new. The NFL season gets going tomorrow. The defending Super Bowl champion, Los Angeles Rams, get used to saying that for a little while. I think I'm going to take on the Buffalo Bills. This very well might be a Super Bowl preview.

And so here we are today, Wednesday, September 7th. There's no more offseason talk. There's no more who got traded. There's no more retiring and then coming back. There's no more complaining as QBs.

And who knows? Maybe Lamar Jackson gets his money before then. There's no more Deshaun talk. There's no more Russell Wilson talk. Here we are with the future squarely right in front of us.

And we got a hell of a matchup. It was only months ago, earlier this year, that the Rams won the Super Bowl. And Sean McVay, there were conversations about him moving on into television. There were conversations of Aaron Donald potentially retiring and then he got paid. The Rams added Bobby Wagner. Von Miller now is on the Buffalo Bills. He said that facing his old team that he just won a championship with is going to be like facing off against your cousins.

Like taking on your family, your best friend, somebody that you just left. Allen Robinson is a Ram. People will be checking in on Cooper Cupp to see if he can go ahead and have another triple crown caliber season. This is a Rams team that is poised to compete again for a championship. The proverbial monkey is off the back of Matthew Stafford.

They're going to be limiting his action throughout the course of the year so his arm does not fall off. And give me a reason why the Rams don't have a chance to compete. Give me a reason why the Rams wouldn't be right back. Give me a reason why the Rams wouldn't be right back in the Super Bowl.

It's pretty awesome. And Sean McDermott, the Buffalo Bills, I just told you about Matthew Stafford. Sean McDermott looks at Matthew and says, oh yeah, he's pretty good. His resume speaks for itself and now really adding the final piece to that resume, I gotta believe, offers him a lot of closure on that in terms of what he's been able to do, how decorated he's become, and just watching his career take off.

Yeah, well people were having conversations of Matthew Stafford now potentially building himself a Hall of Fame caliber resume. Is it there yet? No. Hell no.

It's not there. He has to tack on a few more years of excellence before he might get into the Hall of Fame. But not too shabby going from the outhouse to inside, living a high life, going from the Detroit Lions to the Los Angeles Rams and ultimately winning a Super Bowl right the hell away. And then you got the other team. Yeah, I'm calling the Buffalo Bills the other team.

They gotta make some headway. We saw what took place in the playoffs last year. They lost. They played one of the best games that you will ever see in your life. They lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 42 to 36. Three lead changes in the final two minutes. People will tell you about a coin toss. They dropped 25 points scored in the final two minutes between both teams.

It was absolutely ridiculous. And the Buffalo Bills, they ain't do nothing but stack up. I told you about Von Miller going to the squad. They're giving out contract extensions. Josh Allen is finally ready to get over the hump. Everybody and their mother on the team basically got paid.

And so there's an expectation for them to just just climb above everybody. The only thing you're missing is Tredavious White as a cornerback and and he should be back and I would hope about a month from now. And there's some high expectations for the Buffalo Bills. So the Buffalo Bills taken on the Rams. We might see this game start the season.

We might see these two teams pretty much end the season. Sean McVay who just won the Super Bowl. The man who had to lose in the Super Bowl first before he won it. He looks at this Bills team and he says damn they good. There's no weaknesses with this team. I think I've mentioned it already but all the positive accolades and flowers that people are giving them I think are well deserved and earned. Coach McDermott does an excellent job. I want a contract extension from the Bills. Diggs is getting money and Von Miller's getting a six-year deal and he old. Dawson Knox. Everybody's getting paid.

They're getting money. And now you got Von Miller on the opposite side of Rousseau. They just gonna send out pass rushers in waves. They have some of the best defensive backs in the game especially at the safety position. Micah Hyde. Jordan Poyer. And let's just wait on White to eventually come back. They're stacked.

People don't even really talk about Tremaine Edmonds. The Buffalo Bills are absolutely dangerous and maybe just maybe we won't have to talk about them going to four consecutive championships and then losing all of them. Maybe this will be the year almost 30 years later that the Buffalo Bills ultimately find success. And so you don't have to wait too much longer. You can sit around and start ordering your food for tomorrow night. You can sit around and and start thinking about your your fantasy draft selections. You can sit around and start putting down money. You can sit around and start organizing your weekends knowing that Saturday you got college and Sunday you got the NFL.

You can start thinking about what lies. You want to tell your family so you can avoid them so you can sit down and watch football. This is the time of year where people build their entire schedules around the NFL.

Even people going to church. Everybody has to look at the NFL and say oh well uh how do we fit our life around here. And to sit down and see the Bills and the Rams go at it. The Rams will be at home. The Buffalo Bills will have Super Bowl expectations similar to the Rams. And who who wins? I'm gonna go with the Rams at home.

But let's be real here and let's be very clear. Nobody walks away from tomorrow's game as a loser. This is not going to be the defining moment for the entire season. We got 17 games and damn it if the Bills were playing at home I'd take the Bills. And maybe on the other end for tomorrow night's game maybe the Rams will be on such an emotional high maybe they lose.

But I can tell you this much I don't give a damn. Who wins or who loses? I just want a good damn game. And this is a great table setter for some of the other matchups that we'll see especially coming into Sunday. I can't wait to sit down and see the Cards and the Chiefs.

Maybe I'm someone who likes to see football teams get abused in the NFL. I want to see what Lamar Jackson does against the Jets in his first game back. I want to see what he does because A. he's either going to have a new contract or B. he's going to start this season without having one.

We got a couple of revenge games in week one of the NFL season. We got to wait until Monday night but what about Russell Wilson going back to Seattle? We already got Tyler Lockett saying hey when Russell comes here he shouldn't he shouldn't be booed.

People don't need to boo this man. We got Tampa Bay in Dallas on Sunday. We got a lot going on and so we'll talk about it. Okay the NFL season is less than 24 hours away. I got the phone lines open for you. That's 855-212-4CBS. That's 855-212-4CBS. The Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Cowboys are going to have a lot of fun.

That's 855-212-4227. That's right it's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio. It's the eve of the start of the NFL season. By the time we get to this exact moment tomorrow the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams will be going at it to start the season and of course when the game concludes and during the game I will be right here with you on CBS Sports Radio. If you want to listen to me while you watch the game oh you can always listen on the free Odyssey app.

A-U-D-A-C-Y. I'm here. I'm not going anywhere and obviously we're going to talk in depth about the game when it concludes but before we get there I gave a quick glance through the NFL schedule and there are some former or new faces and new places that will be visiting the old place. I mentioned one on Monday night Denver and Seattle.

Russell Wilson as a member of the Denver Broncos going up to Seattle to visit his old friend the 12s those fans in Seattle. We've had a lot of conversations about Baker Mayfield as the Cleveland Browns will make their way to Carolina. You know did Baker Mayfield say he's gonna mess them up or is it a whole lot of nonsense?

Baker Mayfield will probably be the one that gets messed up or he might go out there and throw for four touchdowns. We got a grudge match except for one of these team sucks. You got New Orleans coming here to Atlanta to take on the Falcons. Yeah the Falcons they're the team that sucks. And then we got a matchup that I really want to see. There's Kansas City and Arizona.

I expect a lot of points there. Tampa Bay and Dallas and there's just a lot. Jason Peters has joined the Cowboys so the phone lines are open to you. That's eight five five two one two four CBS eight five five two one two four CBS Terry is calling from Buffalo. You're on CBS Sports Radio Terry what's up? How's it going man? I just want to touch base on a couple things about the Bills game tomorrow. I'm calling you from Buffalo.

Man it's the night before Christmas here. This season is different. We say that every single year but to be honest with you man I don't think Josh Allen will ever lose another game.

The way he's gone down the last three seasons even going back to the Texans game in the playoffs. That man has some ice in his veins. He's got that dog in him.

I promise you I'm going to be calling you back tomorrow after this game and I'm going to be telling you listen I told you so. This guy coming out strong. We have only gotten better. We have only added people and yeah Tredavious White is out but we got Teron Johnson he's one of the best in the league.

We got the new guy Elon. There's nothing to be worried about. You're picking the Rams because they're home. I don't think the Rams have a home.

See how their stadium shows out. There's going to be more Bills fans there than there are Rams fans there. It's a home game for the Bills. Nobody circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills.

Let's go Buffalo. Thank you. I'm going to hang up and listen. There's nothing for me to say. Well thank you for bringing your pom-poms and if it makes you feel better to call me tomorrow and say hey JR I told you so then by all means do it.

That's fine. Call me back at the end of the year if Buffalo goes 17 and 0. Call me back. Hit me. 855-212-4CBS.

That's 855-212-4CBS. Johnny he's here from Atlanta. You're on CBS Sports Radio.

My neighbor Johnny. What's up? What's going on JR? Two things I'm looking forward to this year. It's Tom Brady getting up out of the NFL and the second thing is my thousands doing hey we're going to win this weekend.

I feel good. Last time I felt like this was 98 and everybody know what happened in 98. Well I know what happened in 98.

I don't know if it was the best ending. Hey but we had a good year. We was dancing.

We was partying. That's all I want. Are you gonna bring back you gonna bring back the Dirty Bird? Hey we gotta bring something new. Dirty Bird dead. We gotta bring something new. Well tell that to Jamal.

You want me to call Jamal and tell him it's dead? All right man that's old. That's the old.

Hey it's something new. I'm just saying this is gonna be a good year. We probably gonna go to the Super Bowl but we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna win.

Excuse me. The Falcons are gonna win what this year? I think we're gonna win eight games.

We're gonna win eight games. Okay so tell me who who's gonna start the major well Marcus Mariota is gonna start the majority of these games right? Yeah yeah Marcus Mariota. I'm not a he's gonna bring out playoff Mariota.

Oh. Yeah but okay we're gonna see we're gonna see. I appreciate the optimism Johnny. Let's see what happens okay?

All right. Don't hold your breath on it. I'm expecting the Atlanta Falcons to get beat up throughout the course of the year. I'm expecting them to be in a prime position to select one of the top quarterbacks who will be in the draft and I expect Marcus Mariota to be somewhere else. I guess this is what you can look forward to if you're a Falcons fan. Maybe just maybe Desmond Ritter gets a chance and an opportunity to shine and you go wow he played so damn good. We want to keep him at quarterback but if they stink as bad as they really can stink you're probably wanting to go with a more proven commodity at quarterback. This is still a team in transition.

It really is. Adam is calling from Cali. You're on CBS Sports Radio the Gerald Sport Brief Show.

Hey thanks for taking my call. I'm a Dolphins fan out in California and I just want to say I'm excited for the NFL season for tomorrow's game. I believe the Rams are getting a little overlooked for some reason and I don't believe the Bills have a chance. I think the Rams are going to beat them by two touchdowns tomorrow and go Dolphins. You believe the Rams are being overlooked. They're one of the most talked about teams here in the entire offseason. They just came off of a championship and they're pretty much running back the the same squad just about. Yeah I'm more talking about just this game. I think for some reason I hear like the guy the color I know he was kind of a homer he's a Bills fan but and I believe in John Allen.

He's a Central Valley boy from Fireball a little farm town. He's a tough dude. I wish the Dolphins would have got him honestly but I just feel like the margin of victory tomorrow is going to be a little more than people expect. I think the Rams are going to come out with all guns blazing and just take it to the Bills.

So what about me? My opinion counts for nothing. I said I'm picking him at home but you listen to the other guy? No no but but do you think they're going to win by double digits? I don't think they're going to win by double digits. I think it'll be a close fun game. Maybe it'll be a back and forth. These aren't two bum-ass teams you know.

No they're not. They're both legit and and I think at the end of the year my hope is Rams Dolphins. Oh good luck and we'll see. All right well you got a lot of faith in Tua Tonga Veloa huh? I got enough faith in what they're doing. I think I think Tua is going to be much improved this year and I think there's a lot of naysayers when he's coming back from his hip surgery and he wouldn't have the power that he's got now. So he's got the precision and I think he's got the weapons now.

I also heard he's married now so he may not have that hip power. I didn't say anything Adam. Thank you for calling from California. Jamison is calling from North Carolina.

You're on CBS Sports Radio. Oh yeah I'll take the Rams tomorrow by nine and I know Buffalo's everybody's darling because of the Kansas City game and people are picking the bills to go back to the Super Bowl but the bills ain't beat Kansas City yet. You got to beat Kansas City to prove it to me. You can be there prove you can win the big game but they ain't done it yet. You know it's been a lot of teams that look very good on paper but it don't show on the field so you know. Okay well they well they've had success on the field. I don't think people are just taking a look at at what happened in their their loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and going oh my god this is this is the next team up.

They're returning the same squad. They've added a key piece in Von Miller someone who has championship experience and from Von Miller's perspective he's made it very very clear. He's like hey I won a championship ring here in Denver. Yeah I'm the guy. He won a championship ring here with the Rams.

He's like I'm the guy. Von Miller has built himself. If he retired today he's going right into the hall of fame. Make him a spot and so what else can he do? I'm not putting him in the the category of class of of Tom Brady here. What else can he do?

Why is he still around? The man can cement himself as one of the the best rushers. One of the most successful just defensive players of all time. If he snatches up a third ring with a third team and if he helped lead the charge. If he helped be that edge rusher that is the guy. He can be a hired gun and probably not hired anymore. He got a six-year contract. Interesting.

Marcus Koehler from Alaska. You're on CBS Sports Radio. Hey JR. Love the show. I just wanted you know if I could for a second jump on the bandwagon of optimism and delusion that we're listening to right now. Okay. I'm just gonna tell you if I'm a die-hard giant fan Bleed Blue but I am not delusional. The reality is we might win four games. I'm not going to be one of those guys that goes we're going to win 10 games, 12 games, 14 games. We're going all the way.

No. I am a realist. I am a giant fan my friend.

Well listen I appreciate you and your honesty Mark. We know the Giants are also a team in transition. Brian Deball is no longer up in Buffalo helping to run that offense. He's now the man in charge for the New York Giants and so he did not inherit Daniel Jones. He did not inherit Saquon Barkley. This is basically the great purge for the New York Giants and things are just getting started.

I think outside of some some young pieces on the defense I think there are a lot of members of the team who are just I want to say up for grabs or they're on auditions for the Giants and other squads. Totally agree with that statement and I'm very optimistic for the future but I'm a realist today my friend. I appreciate you.

No doubt about it Mark. I appreciate you for calling up from the great state of Alaska. I love it. Got listeners in Alaska. We got listeners in California. We got North Carolina. We got all the bases covered.

All of them. It's the JR Sport Reshow here with you on CBS Sports Radio. Thank you so much Mark from Alaska for bringing up the New York Giants because in reality we won't have a lot of opportunities to discuss the New York Giants this season unless they're either A, shocking us or they're getting the hell beat out of them. Derek Henry, Tennessee Titans first game first matchup for the New York Giants this season. What's Derek Henry gonna do? I don't know. 150 yards, 125, 170. I got no points.

I got no clue. I know this for Daniel Jones. He better go out there and try not to throw interceptions. Daniel Jones better go out there and try not to be tackled by the turf and Daniel Jones is just he's hanging on by a thread. He needs to call Dave Gettleman and tell him thank you because time is a ticking on his time as a starter with the Giants.

It stinks. It's the JR Sport Reshow here on CBS Sports Radio. I will leave the phone lines open. When we come back, I do want to share with you some comments made by a new member of the NFC East. He's a veteran member. His name is Jason Peters as he is no longer an eagle. He ain't make that one stop over in Chicago.

A long one. He's now a cowboy. So we'll talk about Jason Peters on the other side. I'll leave the phone lines open and I do want to update you on the other New York football team that plays in New Jersey. But right now here on CBS Sports Radio, you're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio.

You're listening to the JR Sport Brief on CBS Sports Radio. I want to just thank you for all you do to the nation. I've been very analytical and just looking at you I can always say one thing.

When you say I don't disagree with what you're saying I think that's the biggest compliment that you give to people and your marketing edge is that you're doing it on the radio which is like the telephone versus you know being in front of the camera and you know your stuff man. Call in now at 855-212-4CBS. It is time to say good night to that check engine light with the free AutoZone fixed finder service.

It'll help you troubleshoot the likely cause of your light for free. For free. Restrictions apply. So get in the zone.

AutoZone. It's the JR Sport Brief Show here with you on CBS Sports Radio as we eagerly await and anticipate the start of the NFL season. Sure the Rams and Bills will be in action tomorrow night Thursday night. We will be having all of the coverage here for you on CBS Sports Radio. We will talk about everything post game.

We will get your calls. We will get your reactions. There will be individuals who will lose their minds when their team wins and then there'll be individuals who think that the sky is falling.

The truth is somewhere in the middle. And so let's not overreact over game one and it doesn't matter who or what your team is. For instance we actually just had a realist call in. Mark called up from Alaska. He said he's a fan of the New York Giants and realistically he would not be surprised. He is not expecting them to potentially win more than four games. And good on you Mark.

Good on you for being honest. Because there's a lot of teams that really don't. They know a lot of fan bases that aren't honest with themselves year after year after year. And that's going to lead me to everybody's favorite team. America's team. There you have it. The Dallas Cowboys.

And I got to be honest here if I want to be a realist. The Dallas Cowboys are not garnering as much attention as years past. They aren't fans calling up the radio station.

I don't care if it's nationally here with CBS or in your local market. I don't get the same type of vibe. The delusional kind of fans aren't, you know, burning up the lines. They aren't killing it on social media telling everybody how this is going to be the year.

This is when we do it. It doesn't have the same vibe. Not at all. Jerry Jones can run an organization worth more than any other team on planet earth.

It's not an exaggeration. The Cowboys are worth about eight and a half billion dollars right now. Yeah, they got Dak. I like Dak.

I don't think he gets credit. Ezekiel Elliott, when he's healthy, which has not been in a long time, I still believe he's one of the best running backs in the game. We have Tony Pollard. I know people would love to see Tony get more touches, but I think Zeke is still better. CeeDee Lamb has to, you know, elevate his game into being a number one wideout.

That's what the expectation is as he moves into year number three. Michael Gallup, people are just expecting and hoping him to be healthy. And then you got the Cowboys offensive line where unfortunately Tyron Smith blows out his knee. You have a young Tyler Smith. This offensive line is so damn busted up.

They had to bring in reinforcements. The Dallas Cowboys had to bring on someone who was with a rival for almost 20 years. I'm talking about Jason Peters, the 40-year-old tackle who last season played for the Chicago Bears. Someone who won a Super Bowl with the Eagles.

Someone who's a nine-time Pro Bowler, two-time All-Pro. Now he's in Dallas. He's from Texas, but it was only three years ago where Jason Peters talked about the Dallas Cowboys at the time and he talked about the entire organization. He talked about America's team like they were nothing but a bunch of arrogant jerks. Just the arrogant organization, everybody, America's team. Right now they, I mean, they're not winning right now, so I mean, let's see how many people jump off their bandwagon and stay with them.

So we'll see Sunday and try to get that W. Oh, okay. And so what about now? Are they still an arrogant group or an arrogant squad?

I mean, who swapped out on the team? Are you going to pinpoint anyone in particular or are we talking about the organization? And so Jason Peters is a member of the Cowboys. He's telling everybody, I will do whatever it takes to help out this group. Do I need to go out there and, you know, try and give Tyler Smith an education?

I'll do that. But what about his comments from a few years ago? He kind of swept them underneath the rug. Take a listen to what he said earlier this week about now joining the Dallas Cowboys. I don't really call it arrogance. I mean, they had swagger, you know, pretty much the same thing. You know, the swagger, you know, they go in a week in and week out with that swagger. You can tell how the defense play, you know, Dak and Zeke, you know, scoring and everybody showing their emotions on their, on their shoulders. And I mean, I like that to be honest, you know, that's how we did it in Philly and that's how we're going to do it here. Okay.

All right. What was he supposed to say? They writing his paycheck now. They're giving him money.

He's supposed to change his tune and God knows they need all the help that they can get. And sure the NFC East, there's always jokes, always the NFC least and, and you know, they stink and who cares? Look, it's going to be a battle at the top. You'll have the Eagles, maybe just maybe the Washington commanders can surprise some folks. Maybe Carson Wentz can look like a legitimate, legitimate quarterback again. You got the Cowboys who will be battling it out in the mix as well.

And then you got the New York Giants who are basically just a doormat for everybody. 855-212-4CBS. Chris is calling from Maryland.

He knows about the NFC East, I presume. Chris, you're on CBS Sports Radio. Good evening, Jay. Oh, you took all my, uh, Augustine, uh, this and that, but, uh, oh, and I want to thank Pete for mentioning our new star in Tampa, Hyattsville, the tennis player, Francis, a smile on his face, face, and a happy athlete with all these stumblebumps moving around. It's great to see the tennis player.

I know people not going to call you up, talk about tennis, but I love Tiafoe. I'm glad that you are. He's well, it's, well, he's still young. He's 24. It's taken him about 10 years, which is not a surprise. I certainly am rooting for him to win it all.

Nice. Jay, how many people call up and tell you, told you, so we're going to call the next day and, uh, tell you, so maybe that happens every, every, a lot of times I listen to you and a lot of times you don't get those calls. A couple of things, enough of Tom Brady. And I, and I really think, and I, what you said about Dallas is so truthful, but I just figured that, uh, they'd be waiting after the game they played last year to start the season.

I got a feeling they may sock it to Tampa Bay, but no, you're right about that. And Peters, my God, maybe he's got amnesia. I mean, you know, he likes the money and, uh, and I'm sure if you interviewed him today, he was taking out of context what he said about Dallas, but, uh, or maybe he's hit on the head too many times.

And I liked the guy from Alaska and the Washington Reds, uh, Commodore, or they're going to win seven games at lucky this year. Oh, well, people don't have high expectations for Carson Wentz. And I think people are well within their right to think so. Chris, you know, and Jacksonville has had, you know, I know they jumped all over, uh, him last year, but, uh, Jacksonville has had his number in the past.

Have you checked? That's uh, that I wouldn't say Jacksonville having anybody's number is a no, no, no, but it's, if you check the record, they've had winces. No, no, you're exactly right. But, uh, and look, I really feel like this first game, uh, as a lifelong Washington Redskin and we're up to command is I really think that Washington play a good game the first game.

Okay. Maybe we'll keep the owner on the boat because we don't want to hear about that stumble bum. Well, listen, I hope he, I hope he is on a boat and shipped out to nowhere. You've seen that movie.

You've seen Castaway, right? We've got a home for you here. I want you to move to either DC or Silver Spring. There's a home for you and you would look good in the reds, in the, uh, time and the colors here. And I mean that.

No, no, no, thanks. Let somebody let Dan Snyder sell the team first, or maybe he can get shipwrecked like in Castaway. Okay.

Right. And the Miami QB, he's, you know, I know everybody's got dreams and wage and he's terrible. And, uh, well, Chris, what are you going to do? Run through the whole NFL for me?

No, no, no. This is your show. This is not my show, but the last thing, listen, man, he's an average and he's a stiff. I don't know how they could even read for him, but, uh, you're great, Chris. I appreciate you are terrific. You're a number one and you put on one hell of a show and your knowledge, your knowledge is, is out of sight. I don't, I don't know anything, Chris. I just show up. Oh, I did. I'll just show up.

If I would talk to your boss, I'd say W salary. You're terrific. And I'm looking at you are very knowledgeable. You've got a wonderful way on radio and I'm sure I'm blushing. Thank you. Well, thank you, Chris. I don't know what he was saying about my relatives. They don't like me either.

It's okay. It's the JR sport re-show here with you on CBS sports radio. As long as you like me, that's great. I'm like, Tio, I love me some years. The JR sport re-show here on CBS sports radio, Mark Schlarath coming up this hour.
