Jim Jordan Sec. Mike Pompeo consumer Marshall talked about a lot of issues to keeping you informed and now is why by Congressman Jim Jordan is fighting you specifically on this issue were to be talking about with the Department of Justice labeling parents as terrorist because that that whistleblower who put out that message from the assistant director of counterterrorism DOJ.
The assistant director criminal at DOJ, which was in conflict with what Atty. Gen. Garland's testimony was the day after that memo was written so he'll be joining us. Then in the next segment will be followed by Sec. Mike Pompeo were jumping right into Iran. He's got a new piece firstname.lastname@example.org today on that very issue were then you go to Strasburg France, MGA and the economy are used to sitting on the on the set here with me and in the studio with me. He is in our office, the European Center for Law and Justice in Strasburg this week, he's going to be joining us live as well and then to finish out the show US Sen. Marsha Blackburn on Sibley's inflation issues facing all of us right now, with thanksgiving, rapidly approaching and also the bill back better plan getting into the details there as well. She don't miss any of the broadcast.
Today there is certainly a lot to talk about with all of these individuals but let me first say right now, which I think is very important say were able to do all this work because of you. Those of you who are able to financially support the ACLJ. If you're in that position now this is a great time to support our work.
We have a matching email@example.com. That means that whatever you donate to the ACLJ the month of November will be matched by a group of donor. So if you donate $25.
That's like $50 ACLJ if you donate $100. That's like $200 ACLJ you not be charged twice, but it's a matching challenge month your action is what triggers the batch you make that initial donation, and that the daughters have agreed to match the donation then act upon that. So use understand why this is such an important month and why we spend some time on our broadcast encouraging you if you're in a position to make a financial contribution to the ACLJ. This is a great time to do it. Go to ACLJ.org be part of our matching challenges month of November.
Let me let me just which hears here supposed to show you today on the broadcast. The scope the breath of the work of the American Center for Law, Justice of the European Center for Law and Justice were to talk to members of Congress, both of the House of Representatives card for Jim Jordan will be joining us sooner than at Sen. Marsha Blackburn as well. So both perspective on what's going on the house. What is happening in the Senate and she is going time at this inflation issue I that it's affecting every body it's real for everyone. Others don't make no mistake about it, you just go to the gas station go to the store if they do have items that are more expensive but we see an empty shelf situation in the United States that is not something were used during the buy demonstration discount shrugging their shoulders through this order talk to her about that bill back better should give this reconciliation program was to be joined by one of our senior councils. You know from our radio broadcast.
Usually the studio with me and the condo he is in Strasburg France at the Europeans are flawed.
Justice and he's he's going to give us an update to on the work that they are doing in Europe. I think you get to be surprised by's house so that work will will be worth it.
That makes sense to you right here, the United States, a lot of it focusing God that the tentacles of the Soros world and foundations inside European institutions and European politics and how that's affecting a conservative in Europe as well or to be talking to Sec. Pompeo's part of our team at the ACLJ. Former Secretary of State who is our senior counsel for global affairs. He's got new information for us as well on Iran in the seriousness of what is happening right now with the rod of the nuclear talks with abiding ministry should try to get involved. But we got Congressman Jim Jordan come up next to get right into this issue about that field has the aging AG respondent. What's the department just said he is the ranking member of the House judiciary. They need to be responding so worded that he'll be joining us next to Sec. Mike Pompeo from our team on Iran. This developments there. He's got seven ACL tape at work.
Remember to support our work. We were matching challenge month of November.
Double the impact of your donation ACLJ.org is a great time building ACLJ.org] found the American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who, through their faith covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help in any way, becomes $20, $50 gift comes 100 constitutional and only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We've created three powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally sealed cases only care means to serve the many ways your membership in the ACLJ is a question for you/secularist secular Congressman Jim Jordan from Ohio's fourth congressional district. Also, ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, joined us now Congress and Jordan, thanks for being with us today that the wicked wouldn't let me ask you right off the bat you we fall this on on our broadcast. The ACLJ when the wind attorney Joe Garland testified to the committee you serve on that you know he can imagine that that parents are being treated this way or that the terrorism division at the department of justice was involved in.
Then a letter from a whistleblower is released. In that letter is is is the exact opposite of that. It says that exactly signed by the assistant director at the DOJ on counterterrorism and the assistant director of the criminal division we started learning about tags at which I know is like a flashback for us. The ACLJ when it comes to those below list at from the IRS and fighting back.
This targeting of American citizens just tried to get engaged. The process we are still people cards and Jordan. The place to start is usually the school board siding.
That's the place to start your communities, but let me ask you this. First, you sent a letter to the FBI director and to attorney Joe Garland, what have they responded yet and if you got any minute respond. Now they haven't responded but but they need to become an outdoor commitment, Garland testified about that we were not in any way to imperative domestic ^ it is one problem with that statement. One day before that there was an email sent from the counterterrorism division of the FBI to Special Agent in charge FBI agents around the country saying just the opposite thing put a label put a tactic ^ ^ Tagus threat tag on parents tell Mary Gandhi to come back in front of us and I paid the first question I would ask it.
What's the number.
How many parents now have this label this tag associated with their name. How many but what the number yet. We need to talk to the guys because this is that they got caught going after mom's and dad were simply standing up and saying we don't want this ERT this this disgrace dictated Nick hate America curriculum taught to market like the IRS it was we got on that below list finally and you realize the amount of people that were being caught up in it.
It was it was just outrageous but will keep this up. He takes it even a step further disease just individual parents are not organizing the cutaway showing up in a meeting that they're welcome to be at and if there are real problems sealed the local law enforcement can handle that. To me that's like that common sense. If you if the if you're a bad actor there and you're making real threats or your causing area or violence are disruptive not following the rules. There's people there to handle that that summer were target were talking about the parents who just might be a little upset and might be in disagreement.
But as so at this point, a Carson, Jordan, and as a member Congress chairs his committee is ready member of the committee.
You don't know yet we don't know yet how many parents have received that tag. We don't know what we do know that need not understand the organization that was the catalyst for this national school Board Association center letter on September 29 to Pres. Biden asking for this to happen. And then, of course. Five days later Mayor Garland got his memorandum due to the US attorneys around the country. All 94 US attorney district implementing exactly what the school Board Association asked for understanding apologized and everything is even a particular need.
That would give the left-wing political organization or one day after the Atty. Gen. speak apologized for this that for the statement that they made in their letter that became the catalyst for this whole charade that there this whole crazy profit. Undergoing I've never seen that happen so let's hope it all ends, and that the doctor department will stop doing it. That's our goal is to keep after until it happened you and said you know I was sorry. Would you trust him on that as you see these to be more than apologetic. I mean some more info here because they open the store by denying and saying he couldn't even imagine this being the case, and then there is that that the league of counterterrorism is sending this letter around the department of justice and FBI.
I actually think it worked or not. I don't think that the letter would actually what started it I think the letter was just a pretext for the FBI for the doctor department in the Biden ministration to do what they wanted to do because we now know that before the 20 not for that letter on September 29 we know that the school boards Association was in communication with the White House for three weeks prior to that letter being sent.
So I think actually the letter with just just the excuse just a pretext for the for the Justice Department and for the Biden ministration to go after parents related.
My parents began to get the left-wing curriculum that they want taught across the country. So I view this letter, almost like the dossier in the trunk. Russia, the FBI knew the dossier with bogus, but they needed something to do what they wanted to do, which was filed present trumps campaign.
Same thing here that this the school board letter was just something that that the Biden ministration needed to come to give them the excuse to go after mom and dad and that's what they did. That's what make this out.
So, so wrong even more wrong than we initially thought and why it has to end is very similar to a tea party situation because I read in the index.
The whistleblower release that came out from the criminal investigation division. The counterterrorism division of the FBI that they did the same thing that Lois Lerner was working on with the FBI and DOJ, which is is there federal nexus to somehow we can edit and that goes to is are federal violations. Can we investigate can we charge someone.
What's the motivation behind the criminal activity. It's all about. Ultimately, Congressman Jordan, it's about silencing they wanted. If they want to find one person they can file a criminal charge against if they can do that they think other parents will stay away and keep silent. It would all about telling mom and dad, but here they hear the good news it backfired instead of killing feet when it inspired peridot that many times, no bureaucrat, no lobbyist. No one will ever be a mom on initiate and what they did.
They fired up mom and dad rounded country with solid display itself in the election of Glen Jokinen as the next governor of Virginia Woodward were seeing a plan across the country. Courage is contagious and what they did. It they just fired up parents and parent that no I don't care what you do not stop me from doing what I think is best for my son or my daughter and that's exactly what we feel display for this all backfired on.
So much so that the school board associate asked as I said apologized for the initial letter that Kenneth was the that the pretext for the FBI doing what they're doing a massive red flag. I noticed our audience puts the American people because you know if the Biden ministration can label these parents as domestic terrorist showing up and actually engaging civic duty when they feel like that students are being taught the right thing are strictly speaking out about curriculum and those kind of issues. I try to protect their children. I meet if you can start labeling people stare so that you can start labeling any kind of grassroots activist they disagree with.
But I waited today with the left and left of them leaving the First Amendment and he needs to be that you could have a real debate in the lyrical cocktail. They believe this… We conservatively wait. We have a we have a debate. He went about you move onto the next issue. Not today. If you don't agree with the left today. You're not allowed to talk, and if you try to talk if you try to speak. They're going to call your rate that they're going to call you names. The going to try to cancel you and that's exactly what the administration tried they tried to call parent name they try to cancel parent and parent that were not having it working to do what's best for our kids in it and and like you said it completely backfired on them as is evidenced by the Virginia Lexus new book out tomorrow what you said you would do fighting for freedom in the swamp. Tell people about the book about the learned tomorrow how I wrote everywhere there, I built that way I wrote it all out long handled yellow legal pad to take the behind the jury or let it get can't get behind the scenes the Congress operate all the big investigation that had the privilege of working on the IRS when they were talking about the Benghazi select committee and of course the impeachment, and then I really try to give a flavor of the interactions I had the privilege of having with with present trunk, who more than any official Jordan more than any President in our lifetime did what he said he would deal when and now so I think your listeners will enjoy the to quickly 250 pages, but they'll get kind of in a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like in Congress a particular 3 o'clock I write a lot about how we started that group and our mission is to do what we told the American people into doing Piper them both about getting inside Congress's battles and conservative battles and sites is no better author for something similar comes from Jim Jordan to be putting this book out for you doing you said you would do fighting for freedom in the swamp. You're doing that Congressman Jordan and we thank you, not just on behalf of the constituents represent in Ohio, but all of us because you fight the battles that so many of our listeners and our supporters care about the ACLJ we work together before we when we can, and I appreciate you coming out today and get good luck with the book and happy Thanksgiving to you Jordan, thanks all the good work you do fighting for freedom of her family.
Take care, Carson Jordan Metz Carson Jim Jordan. He's got a new book out again. Wherever books are sold tomorrow. Do what you said you would do fighting for freedom in the swamp. As you since you really inside look from a conservative fighter who's inside those battles inside those committee rooms in the back rooms in and again from different perspectives and I think that again if your Surrealists are broadcast those kind of perspectives are priceless because you get our perspective of it yet.
We were at the Piotrowski attorneys at he's he was there as part of congressional theme of the house during the impeachment me. This was again the IRS is right in the front. We were there. I calling this out fighting. It was its base. The same administration that that those times Obama years before to the binder so it great to have Carson Jordan joining us today on the broadcast indefinitely. Checkout get his new book, do what you said you would do fighting for freedom in the swamp. Let me encourage you secretary Mike Pompeo's best joints really go to Iran. The next segment broadcast watching this broadcast share with your friends and family and again I encourage you do that, put that share button and let me ride you the entire month of November is a matching challenge months critical to the ACLJ just to the broadcast. But for all the work we do with the Americans or flawed justice. You can support the ACLJ today and you're able to do so financially and again if you're able to do so financially double the impact your donation by being part of our matching challenge donating firstname.lastname@example.org] only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally sealed. McCarran means to serve in many ways your membership powering the right question for you/the American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom.
Protecting those faith covering correction in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life reports and in Congress ACLJ for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help in the way comes $20, $50 gift comes 100 constitutional and religious freedoms most beautiful gift today.
It was great to be joined by Congressman Jim jewelry now joint by former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, our senior counsel for global affairs Sec. Pompeo's got a new preceptor just posted email@example.com on Iran. The Biden administration is committed to repeating the mistakes of the Obama administration last week by the ministration special envoy for Iran Robert Malley was on a diplomatic mission across the Middle East.
Let me go right to Sec. Pompeo. What was Robert Malley's mission here. Sec. Pompeo, what is he trying to do with your meeting with the Obama ministration did which is to take to get up.
He whatever that means to the Iranians through complete and total capitulation. I think they have come to view the United States not as an adversary but is pray someone they can victimize and so we talked about Valley when he spoke that well. The problem with the rod is that they been excluded as if he forgot 1979 they took America not just for 444 days is that he forgot that they continue to develop their nuclear capability that he didn't observe the terrorist Naaman in the Gaza Strip and 11 I would have to live with others around the world are underwritten and supported by Iran that have a fundamentally fundamental misconception of Iran as a player in the region for going I just returned. I literally got back to the Middle East a few hours ago Jordan I was in Saudi Arabia I was in the Emirates. I think the people in those places know that Iran is a real correct and they they are very concerned that the United States is demonstrating weakness in the face of arranging aggression matches some of this country. Sec. Pompeo if is Iran were to have a nuclear weapon feel like they would need similar B could start off an arms race that in a in a region of the world. We don't need an arms race like that to go nuclear and zap but but I would imagine they be very concerned and they'd be even more important to have those US defenses installed in those countries. One of we worried about most with nuclear per proliferation was infected that Jordan one for a rainy and perfect.
Not only their weapon systems but have the enrichment capability to make not only a single weapon but an entire program. Whether it's the Egyptians, the Jordanians, the marauding societies Turks that the list is pretty long, that want to join the nuclear club that creates enormous risk region of the world.
I thought yesterday to that another senior administration official named Brett McGurk was in the region. He was in Bahrain speaking talked in the same way that Robert Valley did about how we just need to invite around the world stage of this is an enormous mistake. These are the theocratic kleptocratic care regime them with a nuclear weapon exposes the United States to enormous extortion and when they when the administration said, and apparently has told Israel a attacking Iran try to slow down Iran's nuclear program is a publication I can assure the Israelis will be what they need to do to defend themselves.
We know these seventh round of talks with Iran is slated to begin pretty soon the Iranian regime's taken her hot hard-line position with a new present there with list of demands for the US to rejoin includes an apology lift all sanctions. There's even reports on now than Iranians.
Per Iran's President. Some of his frozen assets are now available to him. All of this together. I think it just like they would if she feels like the Biden administration would give away anything and possibly everything to just get back to some deal, even though was it a deal of bullet points back into the deal. It will make the tragedy of the parable debacle and that look like child's play. In terms of breasted medic states of America, one when the administrator started their negotiation with the by the ministration started that they were going to go back into it deal, but it was going to be longer and stronger.
Now it appears that they're prepared to accept the deal that is shorter and weaker and is enormously dangerous and will send a signal to the entire region the United States cannot be trusted in the put the Israeli leadership is a terribly terribly difficult vision, one that should never force the people that lived there. That the Jewish homeland in Israel put in the place where the rain and you have the capacity to extort and threaten them and we shouldn't force them to make a difficult decision in the face of the best American ambivalence to some reports again about protests breaking out in Iran against the Ayatollah, we are very critical of 2009, during the green revolution when the Obama administration ignored the pleas, the signs written in English before being shot in the streets until it was really there was a moment there is opportunity there that was not utilized by the United States eight. I feel like probably the people around her even more nervous about taking to the streets because the world seems to ignore their pleas because very much because of what were type analysis that the world is trying to get into, especially the US into a deal with the Ayatollah not to protest the Ayatollah the position that we want to open up commercial exchange with Iran but were not good… But the European there. For that reason, we, the Obama administration and now the by demonstration and prepared to overlook the Iranian people when the reigning people protested in the top administration. I remember not only did I but President from issued statements send out tweets saying we are wavy we will support you do the right thing. Protect your own individual freedoms in your own individual rights. We did everything we could to support them. I doubt that this administration will lift a finger for the Iranian people, but is good to go to Vienna next week and do an awful lot to get money to the regime itself to the Ayatollah himself, which will only put United States and our friends and allies and partners in the region at risk so backwards finally ascertained Pompeo you under the trumpet ministration you served. There is a maximum pressure campaign was able to fix some of the wrongs done by the Obama administration under the JCP away re-isolated Iran their economy took to get make sure they have the resources they did, but the Biden ministration case to rather do this again. So we had a repeat of what Obama did, but maybe Rhonda on a bigger cave when it comes to the money and what Iran is demanding to the future administration still salvage this situation or is it too late. We end up in that arms race situation, the Middle East, there were so concerned about while not much I am very competent next Republican administration would walk away from any crappy deal that the Biden ministration entered into one of the conditions that the rating for quite they want to ministration to promise that there that walk the deal won't be broken again that promise can't be made the Biden ministration can't deliver on that promise because there are no Democrats sitting in the Senate to get about perjury, though. The next Republican administration next Republican President, whoever he or she, that person is going to buy this deal. The arraignment should know and so should every country or every business of thinking about reentering Iran to do business with the rating regime. They should know that the clock is running on the capacity to do that on this deal won't stand not enough because the politics that because it was a Democrat that that because this is a foreign policy decision that puts American lives in Israeli life at risk. Sec. Pompeo is a senior counsel for global affairs Sec. Tom Taylor say happy Thanksgiving to you if we don't speak before then and and been really busy help you get some time with your family even insist that Dana is always state surveillance on the ship that garden at the back. The all thank you, and you don't let me just say folks were able to get reports from a former Secretary of State last proceeding for Secretary of State. My company just got back from Saudi Arabia in the Emirates hours ago is on our team because your support financial that's that's how were able to do this and you can get analysis anywhere else you hear right off the right off three hours after returning home from the Middle East replace were talking on Iraq's work makes you this is why we can bring this especially for the firstname.lastname@example.org double the impact your donation matching channels throughout the month of November. Delete very back. Second, the American Center for Law and justice will engage in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 checking the constitutional and religious freedoms to you and your family. You forgive today online keeping you informed and now is Jordan secular is one 800 684 30 want to show you maybe thinking of.
I get through, but we do keep her for rides open 41 800 68 or 30 want to do a little recap you miss that first half-hour deftly go back and check it out later on you.
We've got to show up in multiple different ways. If you're listening in your car right now you go to YouTube you go to Facebook you go to rubble periscope is it's available. Seek if you ever miss anything you say on the back and watch it will always be available later today, but we start of the show right off the bat. Of course we were with Congressman Jim Jordan on this issue of targeting parents because they attend their school board meetings and how the Atty. Gen. came to his committee testified like he could imagine the counterterrorism unit that FBI would be involved in this W whistleblower letter that the day before's test with yeah they are in their tagging just like to be on the lookout list or tagging individual Americans and tried to again tie them to these kind of at least this kind of basic put them in the criminal process see if they can bring a criminal charge that the ultimate goal. How can the silent speech at the card for George right they have instead encourage more people to speak out is really just the beginning of this issue. This was great to have him on the Sec. Pompeo joined us were jumping right into Iran. He's got a new piece email@example.com today on that very issue coming up in the next segment and the toddler who used to seeing in the studio with me here. I want to senior counsel Stacy OJ is in our office in Strasburg France and he's to be joining us by video as well. Severe watching you get a peek inside their European Center for Law and Justice in Strasburg France and he is there now so we can update to on our work in Europe and then let me first say right now, which I think is very important say again were able to do all this work because of you.
Those of you who are able to financially support the ACLJ. If you're in that position now this is a great time to support our work. We have a matching firstname.lastname@example.org. That means that whatever you donate to the ACLJ the month of November will be matched by a group of donor.
So if you donate $25.
That's like $50 ACLJ if you donate $100. That's like $200 ACLJ you not be charged twice. It's a matching challenge month your action is what triggers the batch you make that initial donation, and that the daughters have agreed to match the donation then act upon that.
So use understand why this is such an important month and why we spend some time on our broadcast encouraging you if you're in a position to make a financial contribution to the ACLJ. This is a great time to do it. Go to ACLJ.org the part of our matching challenges month of November and in the final segment of the broadcast really joined by US Sen. Marsha Blackburn and she is going type of disinflation issue are that it's affecting every body it's real for everyone. Others don't make no mistake about it, you just go to the gas station go to the store if they do have items that are more expensive but we see an empty shelf situation in the United States that is not something were used during the Biden ministration discount shrugging their shoulders through this order talk to her about that some these inflation issues facing all of us right now as we Thanksgiving rapidly approaching and also the bill back better plan getting into the details there as well.
She don't miss any of the broadcast.
Today there is certainly a lot to talk about with all of these individuals.
So if you thought you on the first half-hour was packed second-half hours packed. If you do will attract doctors on the air on this to be the time to call one 864, 31, two, that's 1-800-684-3110 and I let me at it so it know we got throughout the month of November. A matching challenge is to explain what it means a group of builders comes together and they say you know what we we were encouraged new daughters and and people they've done in the past or regulatory but were to match their donations so if you donate $50 right now ACLJ.org those those donors are going to match that which means it's a quiver like $100 for ACLJ to get them to match the donation. Of course you have to take the first step in making a donation. They only match the donations that come in so you take. At first step in this action, and so if you're in a financial position to do it and I always say that we begin after financially able to.
In that situation are thinking about wearing where to donate up the today show is a great example all the different types of work were doing in the US and around the world because of your financial support donate online ACLJ.org double your impact today. That's it. ACLJ.org will be right back live the American Center for Law and were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad.
Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who face covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ support for that way comes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you when you forgive today only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life. We created three powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally ACLJ nations.
McCarron means to as many ways your membership powering the right/2 secular joining us, annexing the broadcast will be US suitor Marshall Blackford talk inflation talk about this reconciliation issues in the Senate. Now that that's out of the house get support for nation. There of course inflation every American saying when they are at the grocery store, especially this week preparing for Thanksgiving, but I do want to go is this is been a pack show over France to the European Center for Law and Justice, which is headquartered in Strasburg, France, India, Conroe, senior counsel with the ACLJ is in Strasburg right now is joining us live in any right off the bat.
I ride to Strasburg recently tells about the work going on at the European Center for Law and Justice Jordan we have a full schedule of things they were doing at the European Center for Law and Justice here in Strasburg France and I can tell you that we are continuing the good work of the ACL dragged out in the United States of America and throughout the world and that he in Europe and it's a tremendous schedule of activities that we are engaged in publications, conferences, reports that we are putting through just to name a few. We have exposed and continue to expose here and it's 9 o'clock at night here in Strasburg S. Remi tell you it's dark, it's dark outside, but were still here in the office.
Jordan and were still doing work.
We have a conference call coming up later on the season, but we are expose and I'm holding up right now.
One of our publications exposing the abortion industry's grip on European institutions. One of the documents that we have put together. We are also looking at the dark funding that is the funding by groups such as Amnesty International and human rights watch open society and sorrows, and his related grooves and how they invest to promote abortion and the leftist agenda and the financing of the UN experts is one of our publications that we engaged in and put together on these very topics. One of the things that is really troubling, Jordan, and that we have exposed here at the ECL J in Strasburg and France's conflicts of interest to reforming the European Court of human rights, which is just right down the street here in Strasbourg. Jordan, as you know, because you've appear there because they are they have judges ruling on cases introduced by nongovernmental organizations that they use to work for before they became judges on the court. Think about that for a while your ruling on a case that you were and you know I did involved in by the litigant, and now your judge on the court. These great wheat we stopped to give enough to everything going on the world, but it's great that you're there right now. Now the Senate be able to reengage not just by phone and Zumba by being back in the offices together with our international team is that they really have exposed that at least I think our audience I need to hear it, the, the issues and problems plaguing some of these are European institutions like the European Court of human rights, and that the international criminal court in an entity UN. I mean they they do an incredible job and and really are our lead when it when it comes to international efforts. It's a team pride predominately French team about some other Europeans as well and and and think they hit issues that honestly most groups in Europe and organizations that operate their don't want to touch that's exactly right.
Jordan issues that are nontaxable by other groups were there reluctant to do it will expose that hat on and one of these things that we've been doing again is looking at the persecution of ex-Muslim Christians and friends. Chris people who are of the Islamic faith and convert to Christianity are severely persecuted and we have the report again. I'm holding it up. Our famous use of props, but very important holding up a report you're talking about the persecution of ex-Muslims and also pornography and especially child pornography in human rights and the fight in Europe that the ECL J is engaged in against those who traffic pornography and patio pornography in Europe. That is something that we're doing that. I don't know of any other organization that is doing it with the persistence and zeal that we are and we know it is it is having an impact that discloses that Pete would be a lot of this work.
It was be done over the last couple of years ago during the pandemic. That's now getting out throughout the European media different countries, and it's it's it's causing some portraiture for the European center from just a good way be contacted by officials, former officials, because of these reports especially on Soros and the connections throughout.
So we of these institutions.
So it is having an impact and end it is caused action as well.
One hand Jordan. So many of these people were heroes on radio in Europe because we have a radio program that friends are Greg, Lauren, Christoph, who work here at the office put on every week and as a result of one of our radio broadcast regular told me that a consul general and not to say what country it is. But it's an Arabic country contacted him and wanted to come into his office and talk to him about about what we had exposed on that radio program that's a pretty big thing for a consul general of an Arabic of dominated country who heard something on the ECL J broadcast to come in and say I like to talk about it and we do see me and he came to us so we are having an impact in Europe and that's very important, especially in the countries along the north Mediterranean shore also and the European connection between them.
So we are having a tremendous impact in our European work through the ECL J – this trip just for perspective because we seek to get conflicting reports about how things are in Europe with Tova chewing things like re-opening and closing back. What is it like like if if you are you Strasburg is there is a Christmas capital of the world you know this is this is the time of the preparing for your the decorations and lots of people and our people get to be out like that again this year that were they not sure what is it like all the Christmas market has not yet opened in Strasbourg. We hope that it does. I was in London before I came to Strasbourg and I can tell you, you could not see the pavement in London for people. I mean, people were out by the thousands seem like in Oxford Street and France's open France's wide open right now you have to get a special health permit. Christoph engaged in that for us today so that we can go and eat in a restaurant, you can just go in a restaurant, so is having an impact and it has a tremendous impact on travel but were saying. People persisting and going about their duties and their responsibilities and where helping and working very heavily for them to be able to do that during this time of pandemic. At least reduce pandemic that were seeing in Europe. Travel is difficult.
Jordan and requires a lot of documents. It requires a lot of things that we ordinarily would not have done. You have been to Strasbourg you have been to the Christmas market.
We hope to see it open and that fullness again. We we don't know right now it hasn't opened yet, but will see.
I think you for joining us live from Strasburg in order to be on a call. I appreciate you.
You are Greg or I stayed up late to do that as soon we have a call between symbols of some of the West Coast severance at the time summer in the in Strasburg France in that office to get a just a reminder from the work they are doing to Gabby just a great job show you what the just been doing Reese, Lisa Andy, I think, for joining us. We appreciate that.
I'll talk you soon on that call. And folks, this is just another example and it I didn't mean it. I don't want to cite a real early this kind of show came together this morning with all the guests different issues different topics by the it just shows all of the different work at the ECL J is engaged in its important work and that you can email@example.com and I will walk you through that for just just a minute here when you are support the work of the ACLJ you in the month.
The matching challenge month and you donate $25 online ACLJ.org you're doubling you you you you really it's like you donated 50 bucks to the ACLJ the early church 25 people, some as a getting charged twice know you not because of a group of donors that will match all of the donations that come through in the month of in the in the month of November so this is a critical time is a key time to support our work is Eddie said it's not is not impossible to travel so we can start be face-to-face with our team again. Of course of duty by zoom noted by phone calls of the fourth lots of different technology that enables us to continue working throughout all this, but that that's why I asked that question. A final question and the about the pandemic, like what is it like they are because I use the Yale. He talked about London's back streets France. We got have a permit to go into a special different permitted to go into a restaurant to eat. But you are able to do that so I didn't.
It's it's opening up the world is opening up. Let me just encourage you show you what a Savior we have offices around the world, but assisted office in Europe which takes the lead at this at these international institutions, European institutions, and of course at the United Nations as well. Let me encourage wheat we are able to do all this work all around the world.
Whether it's for the persecuted we think about what Eddie just said, it's just regular persecuted Christians in France are being who were former ill converts from Islam, but there is a democratic society, and they still have to fear from persecution. It is the government they're doing enough. This is one of the issues that Annie talked about the European surf law and justice is working on right now. Let me encourage you to support our firstname.lastname@example.org and you don't want to miss that coming up next after that spring sitter Marsha Blackburn. She's got a lot to say about inflation, about Bill back better.
This is the city. Now let's move through the house what's good after the Senate. What about the cinemas. What about the Joe matches where the thinking of the inflation that were all seeing what is the gas pump for this diverse restore, whether it's big-box stores to support our work in ACLJ.org stay with us share the broadcast of your friends and family got sitter Marsha Blackburn in his next only one. A society can agree the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, freeing our publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally sealed. Jesus here means to serve the many ways your membership is/the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom.
Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith covering corruption in Washington fighting to protect life reports and in Congress ACLJ for that way challenge comes $20, $50 gift comes 100 constitutional and secular.
It is always great to have US sitter Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee joining assisted her Blackburn victory with us today for Saturday overhead and the holiday season American people that that the families are the budgets are a little strained little to say maybe more stray than that because of policies in Washington DC. It's exploding inflation. It's hitting everybody in it. What how hard it's hitting you yourself seeing it.
I mean, you see that we all see if the gas pump stores and to prepare for Thanksgiving traveling all that it feels like this is because of out-of-control spending Washington DC at the Biden administration. The left they think will spend more than they think that they were there to solve inflation by this reconciliation package Bill back better. Now that's move from the house to the Senate. I mean how serious of this this inflation problem and your colleagues understand what you do. The seriousness of this issue will come from. I regularly gone not less than one item thinking. Working on Michelle Bill brought that magical money spent every capri government controlled that speed up or recalibrate like that damn look at what happened when Barack Obama looked like they Question government money out there ending the national during their eight years and then gambled and what did we get 1 Which Way, Congaree in history did not turn around until Pres. Donald Tromp of Dunlop and then people waiting Brandon Backman gotten rid of the higher tax rate thinking somebody is going to do something about the economy.
We have been best economy going. Prior to heading and eventually collaborate that Biden is trying to engineer trying to write out you cannot hand their way out of the poll numbers taking us all about: as we start hitting into the 30s and as a President as a leader I you know something's not right to get a C that they just won't engage. They say it's there. There is, whether they're ignoring it or treating it like it's really not a problem like for middle-class middle-class Americans with something to say what really affects the wealthy, the most of no that's not that's not who is affected by inflation, the most of people who need to today to fill their take a gas and with it goes up a couple of bucks at the big deal if if an item at the store goes up a dollar or two dollars. They buy regularly for their family and they may by a lot of courts, not even available. It's a big deal on what you are putting in place when you look all all things going.
Not hearing right by people that are purchasing does product and tell my not gonna write down anybody making under $400,000 a year that lot switch to six because of every year, we all understand this. This is not working yet they did house passes reconciliation.
This is I like how you called to Bill back broke but in the Senate.
This is a lot tougher to get past even to reconciliation your in the U.S. Senate.
Your colleagues on the other side of the aisle like crackers as sitter cinema sitter mansion I jute jute where you where you think this bill stands right now, the U.S. Senate harder every single day, every day, more an American realized 20 they'll realize that it is going to count money out of their pocket and are contacting their representatives and sang out any number of right and Jordan I know you look at the capri court, like a number of right that had been trying Democrat to Lean Republican and People Are Looking at That. They Look at What Happened in Virginia Need Carried out in Seattle Then Look at What Is Happening in South Click Then the Democratic Area at That Date and Now They Are Electing Republican at the Local Level and People Are Realizing Needed to Support Joe Biden Anybody Mark Where Ligation Can't Important Child by Distance from This Administration Would You Do Look at the Number of Races That Are Now in Play. It's like Dublin Antiracist As It States like You Said to Blackmer That Have Not Been I States Where Republic Is a Bit Inflated, so She Missed Some Statewide Races Potentially for the in the Senate and Other Races like That.
