That's 855-402-2229 or Janet Mefford.com is our confidence is in Christ alone tell you could guarantee you would find a Gideon Bible in the nightstand drawer of the hospitality analytics company SDR reported not too long ago that the number of hotels offering religious material like Gideon Bibles went down from 95% of them carrying Bibles in 2006 to just 48% in 2016. Now one of the reasons for that is the politicking against Bible distribution from atheists like those at the freedom from religion foundation, which has called Bibles and invasive species on what that means but this is just evidence that it's more important than ever to get the word of God into the hands of lost people who have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ and Gideons are still committed to that mission because although they are known for their hotel Bibles their work to get the Scriptures into people's hands has gone way beyond just hotels during the course of the last 120+ years. They have distributed 2.4 billion Bibles and more than 100 languages.
Wow, what is the future of their mission and what did they do to become so successful and influential. It's a really fascinating story organ to talk about it today with Jeff Pat. He's the former director of communications for the Gideons International and author of the new book witness to history.
The story of the Gideons international Jeff just wonderful to happy with us. How are you in fact granted the greetings from Asheville, well, well, I'm glad you're here.
The history of the Gideons is just such a great story and I'm sure there a lot of listeners have never really know what the history of the Gideons are they just look at the Gideons Bible and they go. This is awesome and they don't really know how the Gideons came to be. Tell us a little bit about that and the salesman who actually found in the Gideons in the first place. Started back in 1899 James Bill Wisconsin and it was an association of man to maintain their craft project and how it came about is that Freeman, John Nicholson; William Knight knew each other, from traveling on trains problems from baby come back on Friday to various cities in the Midwest and they said it would be great if we have an association of man we could hold ourselves accountable back at the time. Salesman had a bulky poor reputation and feel gambling your profanity and their idle hours in the hotel rooms are wasn't much to do background the idle hours in the hotel lobby's you know the devil's workshop. In these three months are going to hold ourselves accountable and be a witness for Christ on these trainings and in the hotel lobby. That's really how it started, Bibles themselves didn't come along until about a decade later.
So that's how we got to started as a witnessing. Still a majority were businesses witnessing and the Bibles come with started in hotels none.as she expanded greatly from their talk a little bit. This is interesting because you know this accountability factor of the salesman, wanting to be accountable to one another and it wasn't until about a decade later that the Bible distribution came into being what one form an organization in order to keep each other accountable.
How did it all work. Once they had gotten the organization going. Sure, once they got going very started building groups in different cities so you could know if you're going to natty you know you could actually some patients directly go to church should never be to know where you read is a Gideon in the pews, which is fascinating. They went from their images. These clues which will THROUGHOUT the city. Now that's expanded to 12,000 of those groups across the world right now with 1/4 million members in over 200 countries. So you keeping the integrity is really what held tightly to keep the integrity of ourselves and of the organization itself and we still make today. I will need this Saturday with a group of men from Nashville and will get together will pray at that meeting and I will talk about where you were able to pass up Scriptures that week so needs. So when the Bible distribution became part of the Gideons mission that kick off. What was the way that that was put into practice. Put in a place to me what all did, then involved to get that mission going with the Bibles themselves mission started in 19 oh were in the hotels weekly.
So why not put Bibles into each of the rooms that started and I have a goal to put every hotel United States basic lot yeah and doing the 1920s. But, expanded into hospitals expanded prisons 1940s. They went into the military and Google as well as schools baby girl picked up and went to schools. From there we just continue to give this out across the world. You can go into hotels so much anywhere in the world and find Bibles, and even though they said they went down and offered Bibles. Most hotels will still offered as a service offered up of the Bible so still today, that's amazing.
So getting the Bible since the hotel rooms was it was a mission that kinda began that way and it expanded as you said to other venues and I'm wondering when you were putting it, not you, but I mean back in 1908 when they were beginning to put Bibles into the hotels. Certainly this was a big project just logistically but also financially. Was it a difficult thing to be able to get the support needed in order to put those Bibles in the hotels know how that happened.
The members themselves started Bible pond to get Bibles in the various cities and outgroup expanded United get more camps in different cities across America. But then pastors were meeting in Cedar Rapids and they said what we need to help the Gideons do this and that's how our church presentations started work will go into a church. Tell about what all Gideons done over the last year and trigger collection for the Bible so is really the pastors are saying hey let's come alongside these men and support the mission we do the same. We come alongside the pastors as we always say we partner with churches anywhere to reach the lost everywhere. So, to what extent do you rely on churches today in order to get the funding and to get the support to continue your work. We still do we.
We are revenues coming from himself and out much, and the second is the churches and then we also have a lot of Gideon cards father memory and memory cards green card to someone at Sony going back to your founders. How did they react as the Gideons grew well what what what kind of response did they have to. The growth in the Bible distribution and how important their initial work became a roommate with the creation all over the years and we honor them spoke today, but there were to simply make… Do this work in their tributes. A lot of it to the integrity of the organization.
A lot of prayer every Saturday morning on down to my knees and that's kind of you know how it built up. You know they were just amazed that would grow to this song is set at the time when they passed, but today is 1/4 million members and distributing 3 million scriptures a year hundred different languages, that's amazing.
Most Bibles though today go to schools right now hotels the correct the were well known for the Bibles and hotels and about 70% actually go students across the world. That includes both the garden up and college students as well. So that's really a place where you were able to get to all across the world from watching that happen. Many countries roughly arguing over to other countries will have a handful left the country. You probably predict what all sure that is just extraordinary. Never could have happened without the Lord, that's for sure.
And I want to get back to the question of the distribution of all these Bibles across the world jampacked with us his book witnessing history.
The story of the Gideons International come right back.

But everybody knows that phrase Gideon Bible and we are talking with Jeff pack, author of witness to history. The story of the Gideons International and we are just learning so much about what the Gideons have done over the years and are still doing one of the things that I mentioned at the outset, Jeff is something I wanted to discuss with you a little bit and that is the freedom from religion foundation, which is a thorn in the side of many a Christian organization has been a bit of a thorn in the side of the Gideons as well and they have made inroads in trying to convince you hotels know this is terrible. You shouldn't carry Bibles to what extent have these atheist groups like this one in particular affected the work of the Gideons in the last who knows decade or so sure all the groups, go around to doing likely a lot of supporters like alliance.
The predominant groups we can rely on to help their the opposition may become more so just from school boards to parents themselves. Sometimes, you know, without the backing of those type groups, so that's something that we work with again, we always do follow the law is illegal or the school board's request for where we take our scriptures and we do that through the compassion.
The nonanchor difference of what we just keep going. Or we can address it.
We know that the some persecution in this. Martin Luther said you know you be strengthened by the persecution, yes, absolutely. So what is the situation in the hotels these days. I was reading some background and for instance Marriott.
For example, which usually carries a Bible and a book of Mormon so you can refute one with the other you.
You see them with some of these new hotels that they're building the more it is a flashing new versions of Marriott hotels not so much carrying Gideon Bible ice is that due to kind of the millennial. You know, with increasing numbers of nuns and oh NES saying the other non-Christians.
They don't have a church background.
This will just offend him anyway. What is the rationale when you come up against hotels that won't carry Gideon Bibles for April yeah good good happen again. That implodes you have hotels first not. Come back around to carry them to request the big chains a lot of time to leave it up to the individual managers so therefore the South will do great. So that's kind of just differs there's no like one mode we work very closely. Marriott and try to work with all the change, but the franchise holder that can make that particular decision.
Yeah well now when you go to schools. For example, as you said before you, you have to sometimes get help from legal firms in order to make sure that everything is on the up and up.
As far as you know, being legal. What are the restrictions and being able to get Bibles to kids.
For example, in public schools is a matter of timing and placement of where the Gideons are doing the distribution are what are the legal ramifications there or what are the limits I should say around Bible distribution and how you have to do it in order to get those Bibles to the kits sure by what location we go to Africa we can do no .2 million scriptures in schools we go to different spots will really started colleges. A lot of times now that's more in our favor because they have no freedom. Areas where we can just give out your freedom of speech areas works much easier to develop. Schools were going to go to the school board and check where we have good relationships with most of the schools would most school boards to find out how were supposed to do in that particular area. For instance, moving the school down the street I can stand on the sidewalk and pass out scriptures. But will it prints will know the Dutch will be doing. That's one where family at some schools will still let it or to the world and still just walk into the schools so it will depend on back in some schools are built further back from the sidewalks and streets so that presents the heart is probably connected into those one of the ways we overcome is always warned us not to go will void as we come up with a bookmarks should little of the bookmark in a form factor for students that they can give out some work with the church is always work for the church's first work with youth pastors to take these life books into those type of schools where the kids can have them out by themselves and that's works very very well.
That is, crates do you have a lot of problems in the US you mention college campuses where you can go to those free speech sounds, but you mention Africa where it's very very easy to get Bibles into schools where is the US tender rank right now in ease of distribution compared to other countries were still open, may be Africa and other countries and just differs by the good by the country. The US it has gotten worse over the last few years for several years, but there was a time at 1780s one freedom from religion group from local, but today it's kind of you.
We got our mode groups were starting on the sidewalks were distributing know inside of the schools where we can embed the LIFEBOOK handles the rest change much for that's a good question yeah what what the issue of Bible reading. This also comes into play. Because you see some of these polls that have been released in the last several years showing even Christians, even churchgoers are not such good Bible readers. They used to be better. Bible readers I should say then they tend to be today. I guess it depends on the generation but just the whole problem of reading is becoming more and more of an issue in general, much less Bible reading and encourage people to read the Bible.
These days it seems like such an dumb question but when we look at the statistics and we see the Bible in literacy. It seems your project is more important than ever right to Christian household and more people more verses of Scripture on Facebook under doing their own Bible.
So I think it one thing we do encourage you with members. I can't put it out to people. Never feel welcome in our churches until they feel welcome in our lives, and by establishing a relationship word now again there's some accountability when we witnessed the people around my church or just try to get them connected to a church development Bible reading church and then try to build a relationship where we can continue to help them with Bible reading. I get a mental Bible group or men's or women's group think it would.
Scott predicted Paul predicted this in the second time that they were so through time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching here like teachers to suit their own passions yes were really in those days that that points out why so many people need a Bible you know when you are looking across the spectrum. Surely there are many many many testimonies that you've heard about how people's lives have been changed by having access to a Gideon Bible. Do you have anything in particular that come to mind when you are doing this book and writing about the history of the Gideons.
What sorts of stories have come forward about how people really have been transformed by the Lord because they had a Gideon Bible sure all one from Kurt Marshall favorite one is musician and comedy songs on the radio's back in the 1960s and the pressure the next big Pilsen hotel rooms and I hope your chemicals in the cost of law, but then one night he was holding and he picked up a Gideon Bible time is really into UFOs, so he opened up. Of course to Ezekiel, which is reading about the sky chariots and blue crystals, he thinks that's God's talking to, but it was time to go to the next city so disclosed next city goes in the hotel room, he finds another Bible at this time.
He thinks there following him so he picks up Bible and God really spoke to know ready to give up his life of drugs and everything and so he accepted Christ in the hotel room with a Gideon Bible and that man was Tommy James and the Sean Bell and he wrote a song about his conversion. You may remember, call Crystal blue persuasion. That's wow, that's incredible. That's incredible so so that's one story you mentioned a current story as well. You probably Craig who was a college student.
Oklahoma joined a fraternity there and immediately got pulled into the party.
She is whole fraternity rested and kicked off the campus and so Craig came up with the idea of these can help change the image and decided to hold Bible study is fraternity house the day before the bottle he realized he didn't have a Bible and lo and behold walk across campus and there's a Gideon passing out new Testaments. Craig takes the bottle to start a Bible study in his paternity basement and that grows and grows and grows where he's going to church and got several churches in Craig is Craig Rochelle is the pastor of life Church in Oklahoma fastest growing churches with 30,000 number so just one book makes the difference going all the way back to one Bible. This is the thing I would imagine it's also really thrilling to know that someday you'll know all the stories when were all in glory will know more stories that you don't currently know about the effect that God had when he was able to use one of the Bibles he would distributed to bring somebody to know Jesus Christ and to become a stronger Christian and if you are just so many good stories and none of it would have been possible without the really the vision of the first three founders of the Gideons international. You can read about it in the book we've been discussing with Jeff packed the name of the book is witness to history. The story of the Gideons International and may God continue to bless the Gideons and going forward and distributing the word of God around the world.
It was so great to have you here.
Thank you very very much for being with us any more information. Witnessed 3.the large excellence.
Thanks a lot Jeff and will be back on Janet Mefford today. This archived broadcast of Janet Mefford today is brought to you by pre-born for $140 you can provide ultrasounds to five women in crisis pregnancies.
Call now 855402, baby.
That's 855-402-2229 or Janet Mefford.com today and here's your host Joe Mefford back. I hope you had a very very Merry Christmas with your family is Dr. Fenty can get me see what I find interesting about Dr. Fauci, Dr. Fouts. She is constantly moving the goal posts on what you need to be doing to lock yourself down or vaccinate yourself or wear masks. He just changes it just based on you know now I'm saying this and who cares what I said a month ago. I'm saying this now and it's completely reasonable, but he never really seems to call out all the leftist politicians who enact all of these draconian measures on us and violated themselves. Dr. Burks travels on Thanksgiving. After telling everybody don't travel on Thanksgiving. It really doesn't matter if Newsom says restaurants have to close down or go to a certain small capacity as he's dining out with his buddies and see these things are never mentioned because they protect one another how serious is it really if all of these tyrants are violating what they are shutting down your throat every single day of the week. That's what I want to now because the leftist won't talk about it because they know that it is really a bad look for them.
Dr. Fauci down is around. As always, I don't know why I keep going back to the same point I made this point last week we liked this guy does not bother anybody. People who still believe that we the people are to run this nation and we elect representatives in our government in order to represent us. This is the whole system of American governments we elect bureaucrats. You can appoint who you want in the federal government.
If you are an elected official of trumps variety fine, but don't foist this guy in his so-called science on the rest of us.
This is no idea what he's doing and here's the other thing. There is some more information that is coming out that should really trouble you about all of the draconian stuff that's going on and I'm to get sent just a minute. But here's Dr. Anthony Fauci the Kovic guru yesterday speaking with Dana Bash over unseen and state of the union and discussing the whole issue of President-elect Joe Biden so-called I'm just gonna still say so-called will see what happens. Joe Biden says the darkest days are ahead of us. Nothing like getting all the people of the United States excited about your presidency and looking forward to a bright new future oriented focus days are still to come. Dana Bash asked Dr. Fauci about this is an account, one Alan asked about something that President-elect Biden said this week. He said the darkest days in the battle against COBIT are ahead of us.
Dr. patches you know over 100,000 of our fellow Americans spent the holiday hospitalized with Cove in 19 and were averaging nearly 200,000 new cases more than 2000 deaths each day. Do you agree that the worst is still yet to come. You know why I do down and the reason I'm concerned that my colleagues in public health are concerned. Also, is that we very well might see a post-seasonal in the sense of Christmas, New Year's surge and as I described it as a surgeon upon a surgeon because if you look at the slope. The incline of cases that we've experienced as we've gone into the late fall and soon to be early winter. It is really quite troubling you mentioned the numbers yourself quite correctly when you're dealing with a baseline of 200,000 cases new cases a day and about 2000 deaths per day with the hospitalizations over hundred and 20,000 we really at a very critical point.
If you put more pressure on the system but I would might be a post-seasonal surge because of the traveling and the likely congregating of people for you no good warm purposes of being together for the holidays.
It's very tough for people to not do that. And yet, even though we had, we advise not to. It's going to happen. So I share the concern of President-elect Biden that as we get into the next few weeks. It might actually get worse.
That's wonderful when we can get our lives back when two people who are losing their businesses get to work again and all of this discussion about the bill in Congress and giving COBIT relief to people who are facing the end of unemployment and president Trump wants $2000 in Congress only gave people.
$600 and there awful things in that bill originally about gender studies in Pakistan are giving away millions and millions and millions of dollars to other countries around the world at a time when Americans are truly suffering and my take on the whole thing is you just let people decide for themselves what kind of risk they want to take when did we lose our autonomy and our ability to say either. I don't feel safe because I have a compromised immune system so I'm in a stay home or on the other hand, somebody saying I'm a business to run. I'm young, I'm healthy. I'm pretty low risk for catching coronavirus and if I catch it I'm really low risk for actually dying or even being hospitalized him to take my chances because I need to make a living.
Why can't meet people make those decisions for themselves. Why are we ceding all of this control to guys like this who were very much guilty of saying at the outset, we got have this lockdown because it can be millions of people. Millions of people.
Millions of people every time his predictions don't pan out. They still keep trotting amount is some kind of an expert.
Even though many do all this cover-up for him. While I know he said we shouldn't wear masks back in March but here's what he said it that I know that he said originally that you should get hurt immunity to about 70% now he saying 85% and then ask him about well you know it's just a range of 15% of the population increase, but I guess were not supposed to notice that it's just a range but they keep trotting out. Why do they keep trying them out. They like him, Marco Rubio, the senator from Florida actually accused Dr. Faucher of lying about masks and distorting herd immunity estimates of people giving him a hard time about that, but frankly I wish a whole lot more people would do that. Especially people who serve in the Senate and the Congress. Why should we be pointing out that these experts need to be tossed off TV and probably out of their jobs and tired of this guy.
Here's the World Health Organization did you hear about this. They've changed the definition on their website of herd immunity. Yet, they really did. Here's the definition from June 9 herd immunity. The question, what is herd immunity herd immunity is the indirect protection from an infectious disease that happens when a population is immune either through vaccination or immunity developed through previous infection. This means that even people who haven't been infected or, in whom an infection hasn't triggered an immune response. They are protected because people around them who were immune can act as buffers between them and an infected person. The threshold for establishing herd immunity for code 19 is not yet clear. Let's go forward to November 13. What is herd immunity. We have a new definition herd immunity also known as population immunity is a concept used for vaccination in which a population can be protected from a certain virus. The threshold of vaccination is reached. Herd immunity is achieved by protecting people from a virus, not by exposing them to. It will that's interesting because back in June. You talked about people being protected by people who are immune and they can act as buffers between them and an infected person Nana are y'all have to be vaccinated.
That's the new plan. I guess Clow Schwab over the world economic forum wants to up the great reset timetable. So I guess everybody better get the vaccine, or else yeah I don't think everybody's can get the vaccine. And what's interesting is even some of these epidemiologist Dr. Annie Boston with hand on the show many many times is even said that the people who really need to get this vaccine are the people who were at the highest risk you need to get people who are older and you need to get people with compromised immunity or terrible health conditions that could put them at a higher risk of infection and possible death. Get those people vaccinated first and if you can get those people immune. Then you just kinda let it go and it's gonna get better and we can have these kinds of crazy lockdowns and so forth. During the 1918 pandemic and life went on. What happened eventually when we and we do have a seasonal flu but we do this to our country hundred years ago.
I guess nobody wants to talk about that was very interesting down is to look at some of these new studies that are coming out in some of these admissions now one of the things I've talked about before.
Is this Prof. Neil Ferguson.
He was the guy from the Imperial College and he did this computer modeling code 19 all about lockdown and he was totally discredited because he was completely wrong in all of his estimates he now has done an interview in the Times of London and he admitted that if it hadn't been for China's example.
No Western country would've ever done lockdown so interesting that you would say that now will get to that story right after this break you listening to Janet Mefford today back in a moment if you could provide God's word to a Bible list believer elsewhere in the world which you through the ministry of Bible league international you can send that Bible today. Prof. Neil Ferguson as reported by James Dunn pull over at Breitbart. He's the discredited Imperial College computer modeler behind Britain's zirconia lockdown policies he's come clean about his inspiration.
None of this would've been possible without the great example of the Chinese Communist Party, so touching, Ferguson admits that China set the standard. This is what the story says back in 2019.
About the time someone was getting infected by a bat. No European countries pandemic plan.
Seriously entertain the prospect of putting a country on pause, then that's what China did. Prof. Ferguson says I think people sense of what is possible in terms of control changed quite dramatically between January and March so it's exciting that a totalitarian state would come up with a plan that everybody else is bracing because the Commies wanted us to do it in January. It says members of Sage, the government scientific advisory group had watched as China enacted this innovative intervention and pandemic control that was also a medieval intervention. Ferguson said they claim to have flattened the curve.
I was skeptical at first I thought it was a massive cover-up by the Chinese. But is the data accrued, it became clear it was an effective policy that is infection seated across the world springing up like angry boils on the map. Sage debated whether nevertheless it would be effective in Britain. It's a communist one-party state. We said this is Ferguson's quote we couldn't get away with it. In Europe we thought in February.
One of those, boils, rage just below the Alps and in Italy did it and we realized we could absolutely crazy and telling pull points out that phrase get away with it, is instructive. It implies that at least on a subconscious level. Ferguson is aware that copying communist China's lockdown policy was not a morally acceptable act merely one that peculiar circumstances may possible all.
Also, he doesn't apologize for the incident during the first lockdown when he was caught breaking the rules, he helped create heat ran off with his girlfriend at a particular time. He says I made some mistakes. I've been completely open in terms of saying they were mistakes, but nevertheless, the fact that journalists were digging into my private life at that level of detail was not something I could ever imagine you have boo-hoo for you these be another hypocrite. Okay you are totally wrong and your total hypocrite, but let's talk about how awesome the Chinese Communists are sure.
Oh, here's another interesting piece of information. There's a study out this is actually published online by the Journal of the American Medical Association for researchers from the University of Florida Department of biostatistics put this thing together. They performed a meta-analysis of 54 studies looking at the household secondary attack rate of code 19, and according to the CDC, the secondary attack rate is the number of new cases among contacts divided by the total number of contacts. Here's the upshot they find no asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic spread of COBIT 19 would seem to be a gigantic story. Would it not because were all walking around in these masks even though were perfectly healthy. Most of us were all submitting to the government because COBIT is scary and now are finding out that basically there's no risk of asymptomatic people spreading COBIT 19 or presymptomatic spreading Cove 19. It's interesting to note the secondary attack rate for symptomatic index cases was 18%. The rate of asymptomatic and presymptomatic index cases was 0.7% and that was, not statistically different from zero.
According to this report from the eligible Chronicle so there you have it, here's another piece of information that's interesting.
This is from the Jerusalem Post. Did you hear about this development with UV LEDs. Yeah this is interesting.
Ultraviolet radiation is a common method of killing bacteria and viruses and now researchers from Tel Aviv University have proven that the novel coronavirus can be killed efficiently, quickly and cheaply using ultraviolet light emitting diodes at specific frequencies. That's kind of interesting. They're talking about the possibility of being able to do it. Effective Santos sanitizing and hospitals and keyboards and things like that so that's good.
Can we all just carry around like a UV LED flashlights and get rid of the masks we zap everybody and I can set made it shine it on or our faces. I've no idea probably get cancer doing that, but again and again and again you got the studies coming out that art are just mitigating against all of this panic. That is all around us at all times.
Now here's something that you need to know about. You might've heard of it. There is a church in Windsor, Ontario, up in Canada harvest Bible Church in Windsor, Ontario, and they put out a statement on Christmas Eve because they were basically not arrested but that the Ontario pastor was charged hundred thousand dollars and is facing jail time for holding a worship service on December 20 because he had more than 10 people. It's absolutely crazy to see what's going on and they're saying the church is saying that this is the first time they know of that a church pastor was arrested for trying to do his job.
Now they had a follow-up service on Christmas Eve and then they had another service on Sunday and there is a follow-up here in the Windsor Star. It says the Windsor pastor Aaron rock who's been charged with violating Ontario's lockdown restrictions on religious gatherings.
Says he is being widely misunderstood. He said I'm not a virus denier. I'm not an anti-master.
I'm not a foolish man, I don't think you were. I'm doing this for the sake of the community driving services were held for the churches members on Christmas Eve and Sunday morning volunteers guided dozens of vehicles to parking spots in the church's lot and rock sermons were streamed online with no attendees exiting their vehicles but rock said the drive and services were only held because Windsor police have forbidden him and his followers from entering the church that the cops are spending the time doing.
You can't let the Christians into their church. He was charged under the reopening Ontario act for an in person service. He held a course I haven't changed my view Roxette. I've been thrown over a barrel by the police department according to rock the harvest Bible church building in Windsor's West End has a capacity of 1350 people. The number of attendees for the indoor service that was held on December 20 was a fraction of that capacity less than 25% and he said this is very telling that we've seen these things said here in the United States.
He pointed out that their building is almost as big as Cosco, but the government is saying you can't have more than 10 people Cosco and that's perfectly fine you can go wander around. Cosco all you want and apparently you can have all kinds of people in Cosco and the Rona won't touch you. There, but if you go into a church, oh no Rona doesn't like the churches okay run it is like the churches, there is actually go fund me campaign started by a Christian lecturer who is a friend of rocks and they got $35,000 in donations by yesterday as this will be going to court you can imagine the cost involved in retaining legal counsel that this is part of the writing on the go fund me page.
The stated goal is $50,000 rock told the Star he doesn't care about the money and the campaign was entirely his friend's initiatives. This I'm prepared to lose my house my retirement savings for what I believe is right.
Nobody should have to lose their house or their business or their retirement savings over this virus and I've had about enough of it. Maybe you have two. I am tired of seeing people complain on social media merrily and it's very important in my mind that people get together and start opening up now. I am not saying this lightly, because I think that it is important for us to understand that we do have authority over us instituted by God. But we we are a nation of we the people, and if businesses got together and they said were all open back up what are they gonna do close every business and throw them all in person they they might try but if you had enough people doing it across the country. I think it could turn the tide. What is very terrifying to me. Is this mentality that says war were just going to do what were told. Think about how scary that is, it is important to do what the government says to do when it makes sense when it is for the good of the community, but when you're seen these studies showing that the mask mandate areas actually have worse rates than the non-mass mandate areas. You have to begin asking yourself why are we complying with something so stupid when we know that these people aren't even being honest and those people who are invoking these sorts of measures are the very ones who are breaking them themselves and the people who are telling churches. You have to be shut down because it's just too dangerous are the ones allowing Costco and Walmart and abortion clinics in liquor stores to open up and casinos and then you have the Supreme Court praise the Lord coming in and say no. You gotta let the churches meet while all this, and it's safe because somebody overruled you will the people need to remember this is our country. These people represent us and if you don't like the way that your representative governor may or what have you is representing you then do something about it. We have the right to do that as Americans and we ought to. We are really excited by the way, about our partnership with pre-born, we want to save as many babies lives as we can, and 80% of the women who enter with abortion on their minds they choose life. If they get a free ultrasound and you can help $28 funds one, $140 funds five ultrasounds. We want to say 350 babies and were excited to let you help 855402.
