You can't take the oath of office and I took that oath as a United States Air Force veteran. You can't take that vote as a Muslim. You can't take the oath.
Okay. The Quran says so I'll actually have IQ al-Rasuli recite to you those Quranic verses that say that you cannot take that oath if you are Muslim, but then also to be a citizen of another nation, and then serve as a senator in the United States Senate. Especially when that other nation has questionable, and I mean very questionable intent as it relates to the United States. So anyway, some some real issues with endorsements there. But we support President Trump.
I do. I just am very concerned about some of these endorsements. Great to have you with me. Well, let's start in Florida. Florida has been really standing strong against the radical left's progressive school agenda, and in particular, the issue of CRT. Talk to us about the updates and what's going on there.
Sure thing. Well, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis decided he's done with having critical race theory CRT in schools. So he's had his State Department of Education overview the Florida curriculum, and they booted about fifty four books that had critical race theory. Now, funny thing is that these books aren't social studies books. These aren't science books.
They're math textbooks. There should be no need to have this type of language within books that's supposed to teach that two plus two equals four. So the far less latest infatuation with woke mathematics, I think, is nothing but a checkmark and a long list of butchering truths like biology and language. Well, and one of the other things that it does, too, is is it's it's designed right to divide us and it's designed to continue actually the economic slavery that has been put upon minorities through the welfare systems. You know, it really has. And mathematics, if you think about it, it has no room for identity politics or perverse interpretations. You know, it's it's factually based. Two plus two is supposed to equal four.
You know, five minus three is supposed to be two. There's there's no room for any other type of ideology to put in there. And to say otherwise is really to rob the chance of white, brown, black children of really getting a good education and becoming productive citizens. And, you know, again, we are much better united as a nation than we are divided.
And when you're teaching children to hate one another, predicated on skin color and complexion and and not to recognize and value character and and to recognize and value the intrinsic value that we all have by God as human beings created equal. Right. I mean, that that's that's a core principle of the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. That's right. You know, and it's a core principle on our on our faith. You know, we're all tied to the blood, the blood of Jesus. And it doesn't matter what skin color you have.
You know, we deserve to treat each other with kindness and respect and have expectations that any one of us can achieve anything we want to. But this type of activism that we're seeing in mathematics actually does the exact opposite. And let's be real here. You know, woke activists have as much real interest in math as they have an interest in the truth. Zero. And you like what I did there?
I use the math term. And especially coming from an economist, so that that makes it all the more rich, right? That's right.
Oh, man. Well, I and and and good on Ron DeSantis, Governor DeSantis, for taking a stand on these critically important issues, as well as protecting the innocence of our innocence of our children. And and the new bill that he signed into effect for protecting those from four to nine, quite honestly, I really don't believe that, that this, you know, gender frication and the changing of gender identities and creating these confusions and forcing this, this perversion on our on our on our children really belongs in in grammar school, junior high or high school, quite honestly, you're too young to make a decision. And and there's so many while higher ministries has books, and testimonies of so many that have made changes that that have that are now saying, where were the counselors?
Where were those people that were supposed to help me to really find the root of my issue? That's right. And to add on to that, it's nothing that our school should be teaching our school should be teaching, you know, what they say the three R's reading, writing arithmetic, you know, our young children don't need to know, you know, who your partner is, our young people don't need to know what your politics are. They just really need to understand the basics of how you know, this world works. That's science, that's mathematics, that's accurate history. And then leave that up to parents, which is exactly, you know, where it should be, wouldn't you agree?
Absolutely 100%. Well, the sad part about this, and I was talking to a friend of mine about this yesterday. And and that is this, when you legalize same sex marriage, sodomite marriage, when you legalize these things, and we and I said this over and over again, and my libertarian friends didn't want to believe me, even some of my quote unquote, supposed conservative friends didn't, you're going to have to teach it to children, you have to Michael, there is no alternative, you're going to have to starting in as soon as they enter into public school. Because one of the things that you teach in that you talk about family, and you have them share about family. And then you now have to correct every single child that has a mom and a dad.
And you have to tell them, Well, now, Johnny, that's, that's one kind of family. But let's now talk about all the different kinds of family, you have to teach this. And then where does that lead to, you have to teach it in sex education.
Because once again, you have normalized these processes in your society, in your culture, so it's going to be taught in school. So I agree with you, that parents are the ones who should be teaching morals. But unfortunately, and this is the argument that you get, well, you can't you can't legislate morality. Ladies and gentlemen, I hate to inform you, but morality has been legislated in the form of perversion. And it's breaking and destroying the conscience of our children. You know, he is talking about the can of worms that just opens up when you allow just this one aspect to go through how it creates such a slippery slope.
All the more reason why, you know, parents need as much power, well, and they deserve much power to decide their children's education as they can. So kudos to the scientists, kudos to the Florida legislature, you know, for taking a stand and in this one instance, saying that woke map cannot exist. Amen.
Amen. Well, another person who took a stand, but they took a stand by kneeling and this was long before Colin Kaepernick and and by the way, let's be very clear, Colin Kaepernick took a knee to disrespect and push back against the idea of America, and to disrespect and dishonor to the flag of the United States of America. And it all started when he hooked up with, guess what, a Muslim woman. That's when it started. She was she's an activist. And all his activism started when he hooked up with a Muslim woman.
Thus my reasoning for telling you, you can't have a Turkish Muslim as a senator in the United States Senate because he can't take the oath. So here's the issue. We got that guy that does that on the opposite coast. Well, actually up the road on the same coast, at Bremerton High School in the state of Washington, you have a coach, a high school football coach who after every game would go to the 50 yard line, get on a knee and say, God, thank you for your son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for protecting these ball players. Thank you, Father God for these good young men. I pray for their lives. I pray for their families. I pray for our community.
And I thank you for this wonderful nation that we live in. And other young men on his team and opponent players would join him. Nobody told them they had to.
They would just see it and say, hey, that's something that looks wholesome and good. And it was impacting Bremerton High School and the community so much so that an opposing coach commented on it to the principal. And the principal went woke on us, Michael, talk to us about that and the importance of what coach Joe Kennedy did. And then we'll talk more about it as we come out of the break, too.
Sure thing. You know, like you said, believe it or not, there was a time where kneeling was a sign of reverence. So back in 2015, like you said, that Christian high school coach, after every game, he had the humility to kneel and thank the Lord for all the blessings in his life. And yet he was fired for that faith. At long last, I think the Supreme Court will finally have an opportunity to protect his religious liberty and I think affirm his right to pray.
Well, and that is truly our hope. And while everyone is focused as they should be relative to the issue of abortion, ladies and gentlemen, all begins by honoring the one who is the author of all life and that is our Heavenly Father God. And America has always been a place where there was freedom of religion. And when our founders talked about freedom of religion, they were talking about Christianity. Go back and read the constitutions of the original 13 colonies. And every single one of them had within it the caveat that if you wanted to run for office, you had to acknowledge God and or Jesus Christ so that you would do the right thing when nobody was looking.

So Michael and I were talking in the break and I was sharing with him new article in the epic times.

It says illegal aliens sue Texas officials after arrests for trespassing out of Kenny, Texas article by Charlotte Cuthbertson. A group of illegal aliens has filed a lawsuit against Texas officials for alleged constitutional violations within the governor's Operation Lone Star Criminal Trespass Program. And here's a quote from this. Let's see using state criminal law, the state of Texas and participating counties have created and are carrying out what is in reality, a system of state immigration enforcement that targets black and brown, primarily Latino individuals for prosecution.
Michael, your thoughts? Well, I think once again, it speaks to a racism of low expectations. If they really want to make an argument that this is unfair based on stereotypical grounds, then that kind of works both ways. If it's really true that law enforcement is being discriminatory, then at the same time, these persons who are suing are also saying that black and brown people commit more crimes, which I wouldn't want. That's not true in any way, shape or form. So I think we should just go back to the standard that we all know and understand, which is that if you break the law, it doesn't matter whether you're caught or not. You're going to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Yeah, well, it's interesting.
So let me see. The illegal aliens arrested on ranches in Kinney County aren't turning themselves over to Border Patrol and seeking asylum. They're being smuggled across. And then whenever law enforcement locates them, they're running.
They're not trying to surrender at all. If they were trying to claim asylum, they'd be doing that at the port of entry or the first law enforcement they come to. But instead, they're evading law enforcement and they're destroying property while they do it. I you know, look, you know, somebody breaks into your house, right, and they start busting up your home. And, and, and they happen to be, you know, brown skin. You're not arresting them.
And you're not upset with them. And you're not likely to take some kind of an action relative to protecting your property and your belongings, because of the color of their skin. It's because they're breaking into your home and destroying things in your house.
And it wouldn't matter what color they are red, brown, yellow, black or white. If you're going to trespass, and you're going to break into people's houses, and you're going to steal things, you better be prepared for the consequences. No, that's exactly right. And I think it's just all part of this far left, you know, culture where we, you know, excuse irresponsibility, and we use government in order to promote that irresponsibility. And for those who are even doing the righteous things, we want to use government to punish just like what we were talking about before the break, you know, with this, Joe Kennedy now, you know, the left is talking about separation of church and state because there's an individual who decided on his own time, you know, to practice his faith and pray.
And I think it's just a sad state of our time. Well, the other part of this is, is that you're teaching people to break the law. I've said this for a number of years, when you take and you hold up, you know, somebody like Freddie Gray, who was a heroin dealer, or you hold up somebody like a Michael Brown, you know, even Trayvon Martin, which is a very complicated, complex, and and sad story about another guy, you know, I think I was talking about Colin Kaepernick and the fact that it wasn't until he hooked up with the Muslim woman that he decided taking a knee and disrespecting the United States flag. Well, Trayvon Martin was a great kid straight A's doing great in school, until he hooked up with a gal that was, well, she, she, she was Delilah is what she was, and she led him on a horrible path.
And subsequently, it led to the encounter with Zimmerman and the loss of life. But the point of this, Michael is more to the Freddie Grays and the Michael Browns and and and others that keep getting lifted up. We're talking about criminals that are being held up as an example. And to me, that is exactly. I mean, you want to talk about racism and targeting.
Don't do that to a community. Hold up upstanding people, hold up people like yourself or Thomas Sowell or Denzel Washington or I mean, individuals who are succeeding and have succeeded in America. No, you're exactly right. You know, unfortunately, we're seeing the left use the government to target you know, individuals for the ultimately the wrong reasons. And you know, our constitutional framers intended for individuals to be free, right, as long as they, you know, didn't persecute someone on the basis of their life or their liberty or their pursuit of happiness. But we're seeing the complete opposite, you know, of that. And we have to be remember here that you know, no government has a right to pressure individuals or to target individuals in this type of way.
And it's really important that we get back to that. Well, and this and this horrific manipulation that's taking place and and whether we're talking about what they're doing with religious liberty and Joe Kennedy or the abortion issue and threatening our SCOTUS. I mean, that's another issue that we could talk about Reverend Childress and I talk about that quite often here on the program, black genocide.org. Who do they target the most with their abortion agenda and their abortion mills, but black neighborhoods and minority neighborhoods? And you got to think to yourself, well, why is it that they're putting abortion mills in those neighborhoods?
There's no other reason other than the extermination and genocide, and then they want to point fingers at others and call them racist? No, I don't think so, folks. Look at blackgenocide.org. Let's talk about, again, the differences between preservation, like dehydration and canning, versus the process of freeze-drying. Canning and dehydration uses heat. Well, as you know, when you heat food, basically you're heating the minerals, the vitamins, and the nutrients right out of the food. Then through a process called lyophilization, the ice crystals are then removed from the ingredient, putting that food into, let's say, stasis. So the enemies of food, of course, are heat and air or oxygen. So once that food is freeze-dried, it is immediately put and pouched into mylar.
We use a commercial high-quality mylar that allows that package to have a vacuum where oxygen can get in or out. All of our packaging, too, pastor, everything is resealable. So let's take 12 servings of blueberries. You can take out just a couple of servings, if you'd like, reseal it, and that pouch is still good for up to six months after you open it. Our food can be stored in your home without refrigeration. Pastor, that's very important because if the power goes out, your refrigerators, your freezers, they're not going to work, right?
So just store it in your pantry where it's climate-controlled is the ideal situation for the storing of our products. And so that's just normal room temperature? Yes, sir.
Between 60 and 75 degrees is where most people keep their thermostats. Right. Right. Absolutely.
All right. We've talked about the supply chain issues. We've talked about the process in which the food is put together. Last time when you were on, we started to get into this, but specifically, and I know you talked about how much water people need and what have you, but in specifics relative to food product, Simply Clean Food's food product, somebody comes to you, say a family of four, and they say, we're just your regular average family of four. We try to eat three meals a day. Obviously, we don't all eat at home because we got work and school and what have you, but bottom line is we're just kind of the average family.
What kind of a program are we talking about? So in an emergency, let's say you're in Florida, there's a hurricane warning, you fill up this bladder full of water, now you've got 100 gallons of water that fast, right?
That's got a tap on it and that water is tap water, but you can use it for so many different things. As far as food goes, Pastor, our minimum that we suggest to folks is six months worth of food per person. So let's get back to your family of four. A family of four will need two years worth of long-term storable food. Now I know, we all know, Pastor, everyone's on a budget and some of your listeners might be saying, well, I've got some rice and I've got some beans and I've got some canned food stored up already.
Well, that that definitely is a start. Be careful with your cans, watch the expiration dates, make sure be careful with your cans, watch the expiration dates, make sure that you rotate those cans out. As far as the rice and beans, they're great staples, right? But you need the minerals, you need fruits, you need vegetables, right? Don't forget about if you love your coffee, you need your coffee, you need your dairy, your eggs, right?
