But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should chew forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God, which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. I shared this piece in the last hour. Welcome back, by the way, our number two. So good to be with you. Thanks so much for tuning in.

I do know you have a choice and where you can listen each and every day and I thank you for keeping it tuned here. Well, folks, there are six words to remember this weekend that will change your life. Six words that have changed the course of human history. Six words that create hope in darkness, comfort in pain, courage in a trial, rest in a storm and healing for a broken life.

And what are they? It is finished. He is risen because he went to the cross. We don't have to because he took on the curse.

We're guaranteed eternity in heaven with our Heavenly Father because he did it. There is nothing more I can do or have to do except accept that what he did finished the work. I don't like what I do, you say, then you've not accepted it is finished. The devil's lying to you and he's very convincing. Remember, Eve, he's lying about who you are lying about what you are speaking words of failure and defeat or convincing you that marginal is enough that you can't change.

So you shouldn't try to act like you were changed. Just a sinner saved by grace, making excuses for not embracing three powerful words and accepting the devil's devious lies for your life. It is finished means there's nothing you cannot overcome because there's nothing he is not already overcome for you. Remember, he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. You are more than a conqueror. He who is in you overcomes the world.

That's the question posed by John. Who is he that overcomes the world? Jesus Christ. He has overcome the world.

Believe it. He is risen. Before my accident, I took my two kids to watch the case for Christ Lee Strobel's story of trying to prove that Jesus was a fraud. That Christianity was a lie. That God did not exist.

But something happened on the way to proving that conclusion. God's truth, the only truth, revealed itself. Lee encountered the reality of the risen Christ and that revelation with evidence caused a crisis for that atheist.

The evidence overwhelmingly proved the existence of God. Jesus revealed truth, his death and his resurrection. He is risen. And because he lives, I can face tomorrow because he is risen and because he said it is finished.

We have much to celebrate. Every day is a resurrection day. I'm Pastor Greg, host of Chosen Generation Radio. And, you know, I think God has, well, he has something that he wants me to share with you. Many of you who listen to my show regularly might know a portion of my story, but you might not know the entirety of it.

And I want to share my resurrection story with you in hopes that perhaps it will give some of you that are needing some encouragement today, some words to be encouraged by. My story really begins, as everyone else's story, it begins at birth. But my birth might have been a little bit different than the average child birth. My birth involves a great deal of emergency and urgent care. You see, I was born in 1962, but I was an emergency C-section because when they tried to get me out, I was breached and they discovered that I was having difficulty.

In fact, there was a possibility that I might not survive. And so they very quickly switched to an emergency C-section in order to get me out, only to discover that not only was I headed out in the wrong direction, but in addition to being headed out in the wrong direction and being trapped, I also had the umbilical cord wrapped around me a number of times. And as a result of that, they had to do this emergency C-section, my mom nearly losing her life giving birth to me.

I had a broken jaw and they had to put a mechanism on in order to protect and restore my jaw. Four years later, my sister was born and because of the way that C-sections were done in that day, a scheduled C-section was made. And when they brought her out, the umbilical cord was wrapped about 20 times around her and had I not been a C-section, she would have died.

But the enemy was trying to get rid of me from the very beginning. At the age of 13, I was on the verge of suicide when I encountered Jesus Christ through the ministry of a woman named Hansi. A woman who had been an orphan child in the 1930s had gone to live with some relatives and the father didn't really want her there, but there was nowhere else for her to be. And as Hitler was taking over Germany and took over Czechoslovakia where she was, there was an opportunity to be tested in school and she tested scholastically well and so they offered the opportunity for her to come and be schooled in the Hitler Nazi schools. She had no idea what it was that was really going on.

She'd heard rumors about it, but nothing until after the war was over and she escaped from the Russians to an American outpost and finally at that point was given the hope of the cross of Jesus Christ. As she talks about that, my situation and things that happened and were going on in my life led me to a point at the age of 13 of being suicidal and I gave my life to Jesus Christ one night alongside of my dad. Things went along fairly well and then things got a little bit hectic when I got to be about 18 and I fell away from the Lord, rededicated my life at the age of 22.

But where I want to take you to is the early 2000s and the business that I owned was decimated by 9-11 and we had to close the doors in November of 2002, 14 months after the 9-11 events. And shortly thereafter I came down with a case of pericarditis and then from there I had to have umbilical hernia surgery and then gallbladder surgery and then I got a case of shingles and then pleurisy and pneumonia. And my endocrine system and my pituitary gland decided to stop working. I went to a number of doctors and finally the internist said to me, we don't have any hope for you and we don't think there's anything we can do.

I was gray and yellow from head to toe, swollen and they said, you're probably not going to last more than three to six months. The nurses crying as I left the office, but I had been doing a holy hip hop radio show and I got a referral from a woman named Sandy Swanson from the television program that I'd been doing some hosting with as a result of the radio program that was all over the place. We got syndicated through a number of outfits and a dose of the ghost, a holy hip hop show was around several different locations. And I was on the 11th hour television program and helping to guest host that and so Sandy Swanson was the executive producer of that and the Holy Spirit told me to go see her. She referred me to a woman named Kathy Flood who had a and still has a homeopathic and holistic practice. And I was introduced in that practice to natural medical remedies, but I went there after having been sent away from the internist, the final appointment and being told I had three to six months to live. And I went to there and she saw me.

There's a lot of history that goes into that. There was a trip in 2002 that I took to Nigeria to Lagos where I ministered and God showed up in a powerful way and I made some very close and lifelong relationships there that continue to this day. Before I went, God gave me a dream, a vision and in that dream and that vision, I saw this woman and I was sitting up on a table and she was doing some kind of work with me and then I went from there and I was laid down on some kind of a little bed in her office. But she told me, she said, we've helped many others and we can help you and I passed out in this vision and then I wake up in the vision and now I'm standing in her kitchen and I'm all dressed in white with black boots on with flower on the toes. And she points towards a swinging kitchen door and she says to me, they're waiting for you. And as I pushed that door open, I see a crowd of people more than I can even imagine.

The crowd seemed to go on forever. I then went to Africa and we had an amazing situation and all kinds of miracles and things happened. We had a blind woman that came to the meeting, 30,000 people in the stadium in Lagos. Four Square National Convention took place for the entire country of Nigeria at the Coliseum there and my host who brought us there, Dr. Greg Romine, preached a sermon on healing. Dr. Mike Okonkwo and his wife, Peace, were our hosts and the TRMM, the Redeemed Evangelical Commission. And so eight of us stood in front of that stage as people poured out onto the grass and I put my hand out and a woman received her sight right there on the spot, gave me a hug and ran back into the crowd.

I want to go back. So now we move forward to 2002-2003 roughly and I have this diagnosis that I'm going to die in three to six months. And I go in to see Kathy after having been referred to her by Sandy.

And basically what Kathy tells me after running her tests is that at 42 years of age, my pituitary gland and my adrenal gland were 75 years old. And the bottom line is, is that I had outlived both of those organs. And so a process began and still exists today of me taking supplements and those supplements played a role in my 2017 automobile accident and helping me to survive that. Well, folks, so let me break this down a little bit more, I guess, because I guess maybe there's somebody out there that needs to hear this. So, my endocrine system had completely collapsed, and they had told me that I had this roughly three to six months to live, and I went to, it's called NSP, nutritional support programs, and they helped me.

We did bovine stem cell intervention, and I started taking supplements to help support my endocrine system, my adrenal gland, my pituitary gland, and so on. But in the midst of this, I was also told that these organs, because of the fact that I had lived, I had basically burned the candle on both ends for many, many years. And as a result of that, I had essentially burned the candle right to its center. And so they said, you know, even with what we're going to give you, don't expect that you're going to fully recover from this, and be aware that this is going to have an impact, and I began to understand the issue of depression.

And where it comes from, and how it attacks you, and how invisible it is. And it's not about something you can just flip a switch and say, I'm going to get over this. It goes deeper than that. Now, I will tell you that there is a spiritual component that is associated with it, and the church is absolutely right in making the case that a spiritual answer needs to be used. And I'm so grateful. That is actually how I met Ken Thornburg in Freedom Encounters, was through this. And I'm thankful for the weapons and the tools that have been given to me as a result of that ministry. And I'm very grateful for the people whose lives I've been able to impact, and God has used me to impact to help them be set free, not because of anything that Pastor Greg does, but because of what the work of the cross of Jesus Christ has accomplished. And I can tell you that in the time that I was experiencing this illness and this sickness, God would consistently show up and I would have the opportunity to have divine encounters.

I would have the opportunity to pray for people, and God would use the ministry to bring healing to others. I had people that were healed from depression. I had people that were healed from cancer.

I had people that were lame, that walked. I had people that had a woman that had muscular degeneration in her eyes. Probably saying that wrong, but she had that issue in her eyes, and God healed her of that. I had a woman that had a brain tumor and the Lord gave me a word that that whole tumor situation was literally going to leak out.

And it did. Unfortunately, the doctors kept pumping her full of chemicals that ultimately took her life, but she was healed of the brain tumor. I had another woman that had breast cancer and the Lord healed her and she's still with us.

She's still alive today out in California living a very vibrant life and they've adopted kids and an amazing story. There are story after story after story of things that God did and in the midst of him doing all of that, I continued in my own challenges with my own illnesses and for those that are dealing with things like depression, for those that are dealing with or have someone that you know that is dealing with that. I want you to understand that it is incredibly real. It's not just emotional. It's not just mental, it's physiological, and it's spiritual. And if you don't address it in all three areas, the ability to be able to manage it, even to the point of just being able to get out of bed in the morning is an incredible challenge. And I can vouch for the fact that there are days because I still deal with that. And then when you add on top of that the pain that I experienced because of the accident that I was in. It's only by the strength of Christ in me that I'm able to get up some days and get into this room and do this program.

I was talking to you about my testimony and I'm going to I'm going to change up for just a minute because I think it's important that we address this particular issue. And it really speaks to why we celebrate this weekend, Resurrection weekend, because it speaks to the depravity of man and it speaks to the evil. And and and it speaks to what's been going on in the breakdown in our in our culture. That has put a target on individuals. Children are a big part of this.

Women. Young women are a big are a big part of this. But young boys are being trafficked as well. And this this trafficking issue is because there has been an amoral message that has been being taught in our schools. I was talking with two of our guests in the first hour, Don Jans and then Mike Daugherty, but Don Jans in particular, we talked about the Darwinian influence that has taken place. And I've said for years that the embrace of Darwinism in the schools is the messaging that leads to this sexual activity that takes place.

Amongst kids who are in no way ready for that kind of an experience, but are being groomed and conditioned within the schools because of what's now being identified to some degree. But my my concern is that individuals who had an opportunity to speak about these things over the course of the last 40 or 50 years, even 20 years, even 10 years. Wouldn't.

They wouldn't. You saw conservatives. Look what's going on with this whole situation with Bruce Jenner. And this is just a couple of years old, folks. Bruce Jenner was being embraced and touted and and and ran for governor in California as a, quote, unquote, Republican, as a, quote, unquote, conservative. Now, to speak out against that.

Even within Republican circles, you would be labeled as a hater. But it's it's not hate to speak truth in love. And truth. Is. Is just that it's truth.

George Barna was going to be on with me today, but he had a scheduling issue that came up, but I had asked him to send me some some information. Because I remembered in one of the reports that I had read that that he had given to me that they did a national survey amongst millennials. And they found that 30 percent of millennials identified as LGBTQ identified didn't necessarily engage in a lifestyle.

And among 18 to 24 year olds, it's 39 percent. Now, in the past, we've talked about that the homosexuals represented about two percent of our society. Now, mind you, this is LGBTQ.

So what what is that suggesting? Well, that's lesbians, homosexual, gay, bisexual, transgender and something called queer. And queer is kind of unsettled or undecided. Bisexual is something that we've had for many, many years. People saying, well, you know what?

You know, I'm going to have sex both ways. Lesbian and homosexual. So LGBT transgender Q. I've been saying for years, folks, that the pedophilia, the pedophile is a part of the LGBTQ movement.

And now they are being embraced. It's being referred to now as a minor attracted person. And they're even trying to change the definitions under the APA. And it's interesting to watch people recoiling and responding to this, but they forget that the APA used to label homosexuality as a mental illness as well.

And that was changed in the early 1970s. Here's something we should be aware of. If that number that George Barna's research indicates and his polls are are are pretty on point. Then we can rest assured and realize that the indoctrination that is now causing angst amongst many parents in schools has been succeeding. And that the warnings that many like myself, Peter LaBarbera and a number of others have been speaking out about, Scott Lively, others have been speaking out about for many, many years now.

Was a reality, is a reality and is bearing itself out in these numbers. Now, as George points out, that doesn't mean that they are all participating in this lifestyle. But the danger is, is that it means that there is a proclivity to be accepting of this broad definition of sexual preference. And because of this. We have a foundational problem within our culture today, and it's why secular humanism has taken root.

It's also why within the church we have a lot of mainstream and main denominational churches that have changed their positions on these issues and attempted to accept these lifestyles. But there are, again, a number of people, Robert Oscar Lopez, Walt Heyer, Janet Boynes, my friend George Carneo. Robert Oscar Lopez is a friend. Janet Boynes is also a friend and acquaintance. These are all individuals who were engaged or involved in either the homosexual lifestyle or the child of homosexuals and then became homosexual themselves and came out of that lifestyle or transgender and Walt Heyer's case.

And they give you the real truth about what the damage is. And if conservatives don't get back on track and stop treating these issues as though they're just social issues and now people are getting on. Now they're saying, as in Florida, Governor DeSantis's bill, it goes from preschool to third grade from four to nine. Ladies and gentlemen, a 10 year old is equally as impressionable.

A 12 year old, a 14 year old. These are impressionable ages that that that this agenda, which is in the schools, go to your local school, go into the library, go see what kind of books are in there. If they'll even let you in, go look for books that deal with the subject of homosexuality and so on. And you'll see how pornographic this material is.

Do watch the film The Mind Polluters so you can get even a better idea. And it's broken down there so well. My point is, is that the church has got to deliver the message of the power of the gospel. That stands up for the values that made America so great. We're fighting the good fight against reckless government spending and the ever expanding scope of federal government.

A couple of quick things. I started to share with you a bit of my testimony and the challenges that I still battle to this day. Excuse me.

On top of the accident and those challenges. And I am only going to share this much with you just to say this. Be encouraged, ladies and gentlemen.

Be encouraged, okay? Look, if I can, with God's help, listen to that closely, with the Lord's help. With the faith of the Son of God working in me. With the indwelling of the fullness of the power of the Holy Spirit. If I can get up and get out of bed, push past the physical pain, push past the invisible yet very present darkness. And the weightiness of all of that to come in here each and every day to do these interviews, to talk with people, to bring to your attention issues that we as believers must be engaged and involved in.

To take my 10 talents so that I might multiply them and be able to present to the Lord a gift, a sweet aroma that is pleasing to Him. I encourage you and tell you that you can too. And I want to leave you this powerful message out of Colossians chapter 2, starting at verse 8, starting at verse 8. Let's see. Well, let me start actually at verse 6.

I need to bring this to full. There we go. Rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith as He had been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware, lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ. In Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and listen to this, and ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power, in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, wherein ye also are risen with Him through the faith of the operation of God who hath raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, have He quickened together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross, and having spoiled principalities and powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

When I was in that dark place, and when I get in that dark place, I am reminded that Christ in me is greater than He who's in the world, and that helps me get through those times. Oh, are there challenges? Absolutely. Are there days when I'm so exhausted by all of it, that all I can do is get through the radio program, get through a couple of other minor things, and that's it, I'm done?

Yeah, there are. And this is therapeutic for me, being here, talking to you, sharing with you, encouraging you, and thus trying to encourage myself as well, and God encouraging me. You are complete in Him. That circumcision that was done, that's something that only God can do. And when you make that profession of faith, when you declare, when you do what 1 John 1 says, I confess my sins. Say it with me. I confess my sins. Everything that I've done, knowingly and unknowingly, I confess my sins. And I believe that you are just and righteous to forgive me of all of my sin and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I am crucified with Christ.

Nevertheless, I live. Yet not I, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God. The Son of God in me, the Son of God is in me, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Buried with him in baptism, you are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. It's the faith of God in you that accomplishes this. You have been given the faith of the Son of God, the faith of Jesus Christ, because he died and rose again. That's one of the things that he gave us. There was a man that came to him asking for a healing, and he said, Lord, help me in my unbelief.

It's okay to say help me in my unbelief. But then recognize this truth that he's given you his faith. And by faith, you have that assurance of salvation.

It's sealed in you by the faith of the Son of God, the power of God. That's the foundation for everything we talk about on this program. That's the foundation. Without that foundation we're lost. The left has its foundation.

The left believes they are rebuilding the Tower of Babel. This craziness of this Dr. Yuval Noah Harari, who believes that humans are hackable animals. Well, there's a half truth there. But the one that hacks us is the devil. Satan's the one that hacks into you. And the word of God here says, don't get caught up in that. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit.

That's what this is. This is philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ. Jesus Christ is the answer. And at the end of the day, you have been redeemed.

Believe it. At the end of the day, when I stand before my God, I do not want him to ask me, what did you do with the world that I sent my son to die for and redeem? How did you fight the good fight to share the good news and keep evil in check?

How did you shine your light and be a beacon of truth in the darkness? Did you shrink back in fear when they demanded you change my message? Did you call evil good and good evil? Did you forsake my love for that of another, lying with the adulterer and setting up a new idol in your life? Have you defiled yourself through compromise and tolerance of that which I call an abomination? Have you innocent blood on your hands for the children murdered on your watch and the young ones perverted in their way by evil men, seeking their own comfort and reviling me?

No. At the end of the day, I want him to simply say the evidence is in. Well done, thou good and faithful servant. I love my God and I love his creation. And I will go to my grave telling the world that evil is evil and only God is good. And Jesus came to save the world. That no matter the evil in the world, I will never give up and in spite of the hate, I will love in truth.
