And welcome back to Chosen Generation Radio where no topic is off limits and everything filtered through biblical glasses. I am so pleased to welcome to the program. Welcome back to the program, by the way.
He was with me in 2015. Boy, a lot has changed in the last six years. But it's my sincere pleasure to welcome to the program a gentleman who stood by President Trump, one of only three people that stood with him from the time that he was inaugurated to the time that he stepped down.
And of course, he continues to fight for the American people. I want to welcome to the program Dr. Peter Navarro. Dr. Navarro, welcome. Good to have you.
Honor and pleasure, sir, to be with you again. And I forgot about that 2015 adventure there. But yeah, that certainly has changed. We are in a very different world. We are now in a very dangerous world.
It is really something. Let's jump into, of course, what's on the minds of all of us because we're dealing with that. I talked about it a lot in my first half hour, but that is these vaccine mandates. And now they want to go after the children.
They want to start forcing kids ages 5 to 11. Talk to me about your thoughts on it, because you were there at the beginning of this. You kind of, as you said to me in the green room, you got the ball rolling on us, obviously. Well, let me let me let you speak to that, please. I lost you.
Dr. Navarro. There we go. I got you now. Yes, I've got you. Go ahead.
Sure, let's go on. So let me do answer your question within the context of the new book in Trump Times coming out on the anniversary of the election on November 2nd. And the subtitle says it all.
It's Minds Journal of America's Play Theater. And I came to the White House originally as the director of the Office of Trade Manufacturing Policy. My job was to make sure we had a strong economy, that we brought home our manufacturing from offshore. But when the pandemic hit, I was effectively commandeered to direct a lot of the activity to keep Americans safe. And so in the interim time book, there's a great chapter in there that shows on February 9th, 2020, I'm in my my office. By that time, I knew and the president knew, unlike most the other people in the White House, that we were likely in for a significant pandemic.
And we had to take all manner of measures to fight. Right. So I write this memo on February 9th. And it says that if we act now, the memo is to the task force, if we act now, we can have a vaccine as early as October or November.
OK, now think about that. First of all, that memo was perfectly accurate in the time we got the vaccine to market for the American people. But number two, that was a third of the time it usually takes. And one of the things I talk about in the interim book is how President Trump used his business savvy and organizational culture really to turn the vaccine development process on its on its head and accelerated it literally in Trump time. And that's a phrase I coined early in the administration to say, hey, we get stuff done as soon as possible.
So that's that's the interim time background. But here's the thing, Patrick. Never in my wildest dreams when I was helping to get that vaccine move on behalf of the president did the president or I ever dream that that vaccine would be used as a weapon to take away people's jobs and to isolate them in our society and in our culture. And I'm I'm a science based guy and I got a Harvard Ph.D. in economics. But but that gives me the skills to to understand very quickly a lot of other disciplines. And I surrounded myself with a with a crack medical team early in the pandemic.
And what I can tell you is pure science based. And the villain in this story is Foushee. This man is pure evil.
He is from the devil. And what what what I can tell you about the vaccine right now is that it's best suited simply for people who are elderly and or who have comorbidities. It's it's interesting. The mortality rate is like a hockey stick. If you look at it statistically.
Right. It's it's minimal for for children and young people. But once you get to about 60, 65, that mortality rate sky goes up dramatically. So the people senior citizens should have the choice to be able to take that vaccine and probably a wise choice, not any vaccine.
Same thing where people would have more comorbidities, diabetes, lung disease, heart disease. These folks are this this communist Chinese party virus from the Wuhan Institute of Technology paid for by Anthony Foushee really attacked the most vulnerable. But here's the thing. There's no way that children should ever be forced to take that vaccine. It's insane. It's it's it's more risky than helpful to children.
There's no reason why healthy people in their prime to take the vaccine, because a simple and I get into in the interim time book, there's a whole chapter on what I call hydroxy hysteria, the hysteria around hydroxy chloroquine. And now I've never met drugs that we now know. We now know without any this is fact. This is science. This is science. We could have saved over 300000 lives if I had been allowed to disperse hydroxy chloroquine through private physician use the people who got virus early in the infection. Right. So my point is that is that these vaccine mandates, first of all, it's really bad science.
It's just it's just wrong. And second of all, if I put simply my economist hat on now, we are in the middle of the worst labor market shortage and distortion I've ever seen in my career. We are in the middle of the worst supply chain shock I've ever seen.
And we are on the verge of a winter of stagflation, discontent harking back in the 1970s. And whether you're for the vaccine mandate or not, it's just a simple fact, Patrick, that if you have a fraction, a significant fraction of the workforce, health care workers, food workers, Navy SEALs, whoever it is, pilots, fraction of those folks do not want to take that vaccine and make that choice and wind up fired or have to quit. There will will be literally hell to pay here on for this country. And we saw this, you know, the the freedom flew with the Southwest Airlines workers and good for them. And they were able to force management there to back off on the vaccine mandate.
Good for Delta for doing the same thing. But there's too many of these woke people around that are using the Trump vaccine in the name of Biden. And Biden, Fauci, really, these people are killing Americans and ruling in our economy with their stupidity. It's all in the intrumpine book. By the time you get to finishing the intrumpine book, you will want Fauci not only fired, but strapped into a chair on Congress and confess his sins and put in an orange jumpsuit and sent directly to prison for killing Americans. All right.
Let me let me let me get in and ask you a few questions. You had mentioned to me also that some of the evidence now that's coming forward about some of the vaccines are that they have that there are some experimental issues relative to this that that that that you shared with me. How much of what has come out about these things now?
And you mentioned Dr. Fauci and I agree with you 100 percent. How much of this just really stunned you relative to what you guys ultimately have begun to uncover about this? What what shocked me, to be honest, is how Fauci and his bureaucracy in particular continue to rule America.
This is a man who in any other circumstance would have been gone long ago, but he was made a saint to the juxtaposed against the Trump sinners. And and everything we know now about his role in spawning the virus, his lies to the president, to the American people, his role in delaying the vaccine after Election Day. So Trump couldn't get a victory and then forcing it in. That's the one thing that that shocks me, that this man is still there, that he still gets away with everything else. Everything else, you know, it's politics. But the problem and I talked about this in Trump's book, it's one thing to have brass knuckle politics.
I get it. But when people's lives are literally at stake, you would think we would draw the line there. But there's too many people in institutions in this country who literally hate Trump more than they want to save lives or protect the integrity of our election system.
Well, speak to that for a minute. Does it surprise? I mean, you had Maxine Waters out there. I mean, she said, if you if you see somebody that's associated with the Trump administration or wearing a red Trump hat, you you should attack them in public is is what she what she said.
Dr. Peter, did that did that I mean, was that stunning to watch? Well, Waters isn't the isn't the sharpest tool yet. And she's talking her smack. It's like whatever comes out of her mouth, you never know. Right.
Yeah. But but that kind of rhetoric, they don't understand that it's a two way street that they're inciting violence. I mean, for me, the real insurrectionists in this country is Nancy Pelosi and the Biden administration.
Basically, what they're doing is they're taking this seventy four million people who voted for Trump and try to portray them as domestic terrorists for challenging what. And again, the last third of the Trump time book will you will read that. And at the end of it, you will say with certainty, yes, that election was stolen. And the problem with stolen elections is they have consequences. I mean, look at look at what Joe Biden has done. I mean, everything he's done so far in undoing the Trump policies and legacy couldn't be more wrong, whether it's screwing up the southern border, Afghanistan, the economy, soft on communist China and siding with these woke progressives on Capitol Hill, on on packages that are that erode the fiscal fiscal ruin. And so shock.
I'm not I'm not I'm not shocked by a lot of my age. But the fact that Fauci still is there is it shocks me that that CNN and MSNBC and The New York Times and The Washington Post haven't done what what they would have done in the days of old and and taken that guy apart on the fact that he's a criminal. He's a war criminal.
No question. We talked also about the the kind of the inside attack that happened as well. And I have described with with some other folks that I've had on the program that, you know, President Trump tried to build a bridge with people that were not necessarily on his side. And as a businessman, he went into that believing that if you were going to stay, you know, if I mean, I was taught from a very young age, I'll be 60 next year. If you take money from a man to work for him, then you are loyal to the person who is paying you to work for them. If you can't be loyal to them, then you need to find another job.
Don't stay around and be an Absalom. You need to go. President Trump, I believe, has that same old fashioned belief in loyalty. And I know that's why you were you were there right, to be loyal to the president. Talk to me about the frustrations, if you will, I guess, relative to the to the people who stuck around that absolutely were not working in congruent with with the policies and the and the direction of the administration.
Yes, sir. One of the key themes in the Trump Times book available, by the way, on Amazon is that I was I was shocked at this. There were there were as many people inside the White House as outside that I had to fight to advance the Trump agenda. And I call like Mnuchin the Treasury Secretary.

But we were talking before we went into the break about, you know, the battles that you fought. You mentioned Steven Mnuchin and the inside fight of trying to move the President's agenda forward and discovering that, you know, you had men behind you and men in front of you, you were surrounded on all sides.
Speak to that, if you would, please, Dr. Navarro. Well, I was the only one of three senior White House officials who was with the President from 2016 on the campaign all the way to the end. And when I first got there in 2017 at the inauguration, it just literally shocked me how many people were not on the Trump train in terms of the policies we campaigned on, particularly with respect to my issue, which is fair trade for blue collar Americans, buy American, hire American. And so you had a parade of clowns that came in and out of there. Mattis at the Pentagon, Tillerson at the State Department.
These guys, they were just like, they were just toxic poison. But get inside before the break, I would say Mnuchin was probably I mean, I do believe that if Mnuchin had not come to the White House, the president would still be in office. And I do believe that he won the election. But I do believe also that people like Mnuchin made a close enough deal with the kind of betrayal and disloyalty they did behind the president's back.
