The Biden Administration wants to provide taxpayer-funded attorneys for undocumented immigrants caught illegally crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. We don't just have a problem at the border, we have an all-out crisis. Since Biden took office, the sheer amount of court cases already planned for undocumented immigrants is astronomical. It will take years - if not decades - to get through this caseload. Now, President Biden and his administration want the American taxpayer to foot the bill for the situation created by his counterproductive policy. Jay, Jordan, and the rest of the Sekulow team - including ACLJ Senior Counsel for Global Affairs Mike Pompeo - discuss this and more today on Sekulow .

Ministration pushing taxpayer-funded attorneys for illegal groups keeping you informed and now this is the mission Texas.

This is the bread migrants we have ever seen, the process underneath average upward housing people want to hear from you, Sharon poster, call 1-800-684-3110 still at work on and improving a process in preventing a system that very broken one to about now your homes Jordan secular narrative sake for the White House tried to play the trumpet ministration or the hundred 90,000 encounters a June over 200,000 appears a July the numbers at our southern border out of control. We haven't seen anything like this to just put into context. This kind of numbers since the year 2000 so 21 years 21 years is received any kind of numbers like this at the border. If you could remember at the time that led to a nationwide debate on immigration reform, but it became hyper partisan, the discussion around it and nothing moved the laws. The docket changed the laws work performed and we did see an emphasis by the trumpet ministration though I border security and while doing what they could do while Congress remained divided putting the policies in place that worked. It's that brought these numbers down, or now back to the levels that created the first that the last immigration crisis which was two decades ago. On top of that the binder ministration's new idea is to provide taxpayer-funded attorneys, the federal government attorneys to these illegal immigrants in their removal proceedings out. You and I don't get taxpayer-funded attorneys in a civil proceeding.

That's what this is.

So were not guarantee that in it. That's not something guaranteed to US citizens.

This would be something special for illegal immigrants. Again, where I don't know where these trials even happened when you have these kind of numbers that the backlog here is that even something if that is a big joke. It's it's not workable. There's no way to do this and that one by one by one situation and and throw attorneys. I like that will solve the problem stop that they want you to pay for it. While this is that there try to placate the left-wing left flank of their party.

So what you got as though in this and you would know it makes no sense to me. 7000 people that came in illegally released by the way, 1500, those with coded into their communities and McAllen Texas just McAllen Texas now. The idea that you would now throw government lawyers down to Texas to be involved in these proceedings is nonsensical. But it makes absolutely no sense.

Legally, or any other way and what organ I knew what to do any person in the United States proclaims his constitutional our constitutional rights were violated in some fashion filed a civil action which the deportation hearings are simply civil actions would not be entitled to a lawyer cannot get a government appointed a court-appointed lawyer. So you would be giving an illegal immigrant or an immigrant or a migrant everyone a call of an alien in the United States a greater right right to counsel that does not exist for American citizens who claim their constitutional rights have been violated. That doesn't exist you would be creating something for an illegal migrant and the cost would be horrendous and no one talks about who's to pay for all these lawyers where these. I like to know what branch of the government are these lawyers coming from me today Department of Justice lawyers that have been reallocated to the border. Are they H DHS lawyers, who are these lawyers and what what proceedings are they doing work for all these lawyers are needed, but this is the problem when you have a policy in place that does not work and folks clearly it does not work folks like Pompeii will be joining us signify the broadcast as well. Are you talking about the rising crime in the United States and we see, of course, the crisis at the border, blame game, and the solutions which are just Joe but on top of that, really bad policy. Would you look at the big picture, but how what everyone is dealing with facing our country, sailors throw attorneys at that situation of the border that will not solve anything. If I find hurt more people become free attorneys for your hearing will be right back on secular the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom detecting those persecuted and covering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy and fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress. ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that. We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ.

The work we do. Simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you. You forgive today online LJ only when a society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission life will show you how you are personally support publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist the ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to the pro-life in many ways your membership in the ACLJ is empowering the right to life question free copy of mission life today online ACLJ/situation of the board of the crisis is out-of-control to say the least and it plays it all the different issues that face your country right now. What about without Mike Pompeo is a senior cats for global affairs. Second half hour schedule piece up when I ACLJ to org about the rising crime in our country. We know there's direct correlations with the board. It's not all the crime, but there is certainly increase criminal activity because of the lack of a eight controlled border second issue. Of course, in the bigger bigots would face a country during a pandemic.

So during a pandemic with there's restrictions in place and cities across the country and people try to figure out what to do in the next back to school. The border it's like it doesn't really exist if it does it doesn't matter and you know if you really do care about that issue in the pandemic issue and try to secure be able to go back to school through all those issues. This should be a top concern because if you put 1500 people into what city who are who have no one to rely on who are who are spreading COBIT around its again you are creating a humanitarian crisis that you're taking responsibility for you start adding US attorneys to that who have to be trained with facing the trade will cost 30 billion spent 50 billion attorneys now that's a lot of money that is nothing we talk about one month of 200,000 illegal people illegal order crosses one month of 200,000, $50 billion is that if you get a be a dent. That's baby cut a couple thousand cases of of literally hundreds of thousands. So we have filed a lawsuit in United States District Court for the District of Columbia against the department of homeland security to United States customs and border protection United States immigration customs office and US citizenship and immigration services. In it we had requested that we demanded through this litigation that these agencies turn over documents, records regarding the handling of the border crisis, threats of crime and related crime. Others were what is the actual information and why there was a cancellation postponement of operation talent in the arrest of persons on the FBI's terror watch list, which was also stop were also going to of course we found that in federal courts. Let me be exact status on we filed our response to the government's motion to dismiss, not a shock that the Nazis government to file motion to dismiss a we filed our response on July 7.

The agencies will respond on July 14. After that will be oral argument, but what were going to hear is to try to determine based basically what is happened that has led to all of this we know the policies been changed, but why was it changed because Harry is director of our policy.

We cannot figure out what the plan is here. Well, I think the answer is there is no real plan. So Biden border approach does not work in my view, it was never intended to work. Biden's policy prescriptions represent a sustained attack on Pres. prompts legacy a sustained attack on the American people and a sustained attack on common sense and essence. The Biden administration has engaged in a premeditated, deliberate effort, perhaps unintentionally, to spread COBIT throughout the United States and to spread crime. Why, in essence, to create more long-term voters for the Democratic Party. So the best policy does not work. The American people should see through what the Biden administration is doing what this is chaos if there's a policy is a chaotic policy before months ago. Present by until people in the northern tribal countries not come when VP Harris was there four months ago. She said don't come May Arcus, the department who whom the security secretary said the border is flat-out close.

J this is a break with reality and this week this week, the White House said Nugent's sake we are making progress on the border. Well yes they are making progress. If your goal is to have 2 million people who have crossed illegally by the end of the calendar year. This is insane, yes. So Andy we got a federal lawsuit file because were try to get to the bottom of what's happened here who's responsible because the order to address this for Congress to address about a fan in a minute Jordan, but but it we filed this lawsuit to get some answers as to what happened here. That's right. And that's the policy that we pursue the freedom of information that we seek declaratory judgments and we seek injunctive relief against the government agencies are refusing to give us the information and will of the things that we do in our Florida practice is exactly this when the government stonewalls us and refuses to give us information with respect to what they are doing with respect. In this case to the border how they are handling the border situation we got in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. As we have done in this case are lawyers who are committed, knowledgeable lawyers, no immigration law no constitutional law no procedural law and we filed these laws and we expect federal district judges to and most of them do side with us in requiring the government to turn over the documents and information gloves so we can find out exactly what the Biden administration is doing, not just what their sayings are doing in this is not just a Republican, Democrat issue edicts on the pipe you Congressman Henry Cuellar, who is a Democratic Congress and from Texas. Listening is very serious concerns were very compassionate.

We understand most of it is they don't come from families from Mexico. My father was a legal 40 minutes ago you believe is became a legal resident became a naturalized citizen.

They follow procedures and what they see. There's a under ground attention. In many ways. In the Hispanic for me to say we follow this procedure, we follow the steps were seeing people just come in that this is a Democratic member of Congress who is raising this concern. Something in Jordan and first journal what you did with the political ramifications of this is got to be serious with midterms in just a year and a little bit away, but that was the reaction L on this right now with DHS basically saying we think it's getting better. Well first of all, Congressman Cuellar is exactly correct. I wish more of his colleagues would take a look at the number stated that the numbers just don't lie.

This is not political rhetoric. This is not just empty bantering back and forth the numbers unequivocally prove that the policies of the Trump administration, including the migrant protection protocols including remain in Mexico including operation talent at J they were working and Henry Cuellar looked at those numbers and he understands the way they were working and he understands the suspension of them have taken the numbers the other direction.

The other point here Jay and he touched on this in that soundbite. The people that this is hurting are those who are trying to do this the right way. The people are trying to seek asylum. Those who are trying to seek a better life in the United States that people who are abusing the problem and the lack of enforcement of the border. J. Those are the very first people that these bad policies are hurting and I think unfortunately he may be an outlier right now in his party that that because a business I give this idea that there's nothing they can do that they feel like they are having their you listen to their sound as a statement.

This is may Arcus from from Homeland security acted like they got a bill this rebuild this from the ground up as if there were policies that were working by the Trump administration to stem this massive influx of illegal immigrants take a listen noted by 29 because there actually they better re-create everything from nothing, let me if I can share with you what makes the challenge us so acute at this point time we are following an administration that frankly dismantled our capabilities to address it and so we are building it from the ground up. Once we go through numerous policies. There was operation talent on child. The child smugly of the human trafficking. There was there was the root immediately. I returned to met the weight Mexico polysemy.

I can go through the list to building the wall. It's like none of that is that there tried to ignore that existed.

That is what the last administration gave them tools they decided to throw all those at the door, which is why year ago we had about 20,000 people being confronted illegally crossing the border and in July just last month we had over 200,000 remaining Mexico policy was lauded by the President of Mexico. They had to wait in Mexico. While there, silently misheard operation talent takes convicted sex offenders and an automatically deport him they stop that to you.

We actually gave 800 Trump administration to the northern tribal countries on the condition that they would place their own borders into the southern part of Mexico and that help stop a lot of the illegal immigration because we tied our aid to those countries to helping us out with this problem. All of those things the Biden administration is done away with so far this year as a report that came out yesterday. 1,111,000 people have been caught crossing the border illegally. Those are the ones that we have confronted and apprehended.

We don't have many more. There are that's enough people to populate a major midsized city in America. 1,111,000 they say by the end of this fiscal of this calendar year over 2 million people will enter the United States illegally. We are to this discussion here coveted Facebook periscope used a YouTube Instagram as well. Of course, if your list of the broadcast always call 100-684-3110. Second, I felt really into the rising crime issue in our country. I set out for secretary of state Mike Pompeo a part of our team of ACLJ a new piece of going on ACLJ.org about that that we can no longer keep ignoring this we see in the news this is got bored shot Keegan and Ward were shocking images every single day Ward were shocking reports all across the country and and we are seeing this again all these crisis issues appeals like again the government push with the crisis gets you out of control. The giving more power over government. So how do you do that before that. That move is made whereby throws her hands up in the air. I will be talking about that as well.

Take your phone calls.

I encourage you ACLJ.org that's ACLJ.org will be right back only one. A society can agree that the most vulnerable invoice as is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission life will show you how you are personally and the publication includes a look at all major ACLJ Jesus were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications of Roe V Wade, 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to the pro-life in many ways your membership in the ACLJ is empowering the right to life question free copy mission life today online ACLJ/the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith.

Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress ACLJ would not be able to do any of this without your support for that.

We are grateful. Now there's an opportunity for you to help me way for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ's matching challenge for every dollar you donate $10 gift comes 20 oh $50 gift becomes 100. This is a critical time for the ACLJ. The work we simply would not occur without your generous take part in our matching challenge today make a difference in the protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you and your family.

You forgive today online ACLJ go to your comments and rate it would really support legally should know, it should be allowed to state without a sponsor proven to be self-sufficient to support his or her family. I want to go through this in the current law section 292 of the immigration and naturalization act says quote that while you can't you can you can hire an attorney, so the person concerned in a removal proceeding shall the privilege of being represented. It says expressly at no expense to the government by side by such counsel to go to the nonprofit organizations you can seek out representation.

You can have an attorney there that it should not itch will not be paid for by the US government. That means the US taxpayer. They want to change that the new proposals to change that. But I will tell you it's it's not even I think what it's a horrible idea.

We don't have that right as US citizens and civil proceeding.

You'll get a free attorney if you can hire an attorney but is not provided to us that like a criminal proceeding second if if we go down this route that New York Times op-ed about Italy. I doesn't matter if you're citizens not to vote is the whole idea you start giving people these rights over and say what is citizenship anymore. If you're starting to get benefits that maybe even citizens. I don't get on top of that which is very typical of this humanitarian crisis situation when you look at the number they're talking about a second to do anything. So even if they did a been the law and provide these attorneys talking about $50 million.

This is the same administration that was a $3 trillion infrastructure plan which two thirds is humid. If the structure is something we've not even defined yet in our country exactly what that means. So they know what real money takes to do anything they know this is another just type a mandate.

Second, at the second stop anything if you if you if use all $50 million got pretty attorneys you could do a couple thousand cases yet 200,000 one month. Yes, I mean Erin trying to figure this out from what could possibly be the policy rationale to just throw some lawyers at well I think to some extent it's a Band-Aid to some extent it does not necessarily move the ball one way or another. Substantively, but I also think it does provide the administration with some other with respect to its left wing base and ice so I think that's what they're trying to do so. Keep in mind they're doing this, but they have also quietly announced that they are now going to keep some trump era immigration policies because I think even officials within the administration recognize that what they are doing is not working no matter how much they continue to blame trump what what what makes no sense if you look at the number. Just look at the data in July 2020 40,929 encounters on our border. That's July 2020, July 2021 Andy 210,000 same thing you could go to July to June, 33,000 in June 2020.

This June, 188,000 so the policies it working now it's not working, but just because Pres. Trump had policies in place like Talon like remain in Mexico like the wall anything that Pres. Trump did was bad and has to be reversed and has to be dismantled and changed. This is the attitude of Biden and his leftists.

If Pres. Trump did it.

It was wrong there was no writing that there was nothing a lot of bull about it. There was nothing good about it.

We have to reverse it and we have to change it and that is exactly how they have proceeded J. From the very beginning. Okay, one of the results in a years time. We have had five times the number of encounters at the border 40,000 in July 2020 if you said over 200,000 that people migrants encounters in the border in the United States, southern border and that's just the border jet. They don't stay in the border these people. They don't stay in New Mexico and Arizona and California then exported throughout the United States they put them in planes. That's not forget and taken to Chattanooga Tennessee and take him everywhere else and plan you as my grandmother used to say I can't believe they had the unmitigated gall to actually blame this on the trump administration and to look the American people square in the face and say were actually making progress. The borders closed in this kind of stuff you and concerning the loggers I was looking at status just now. My thumb there are 1.3 million immigration cases on backlog in the court system. So, exactly what are these loggers going to do and are they going to put these people just now crossing ahead of other people. We know you're putting them ahead of many people go through the process and the legal way. This is this is absolute chaos in the critical issues are now also the health issues. With so many people being released into the United States, McAllen, Texas one city since February has had over 7000 illegal immigrant who tested positive for covert. This is a health crisis as well as a national security crisis human humanitarian crisis in a morality crisis which it was said to Jude Saki taught because she's asked direct questions.

Do you think your plans working to think that this is the right thing ended with the pivot is something you just throw your hands up in the air take Alyssa by 13 to live that life as I went to Central America. They do not, people are coming in record numbers to present the immigration plan is working on the Pres. continues to convey that to anyone, as you said, I who wants to come to the United States.

Now is not time to come is not the time to come and try to go through irregular migration. We want to have an effective process for you can apply for asylum where you can apply for legal status.

We have increased our investment in areas like the Central American minors program allowed to apply from within countries today are not making that dangerous trip.

There's more that needs to be done with the needs we don't know this is working and throwing it out and doesn't let you 120 lawyers that are whatever the amount or is not going to solve this problem. These are programs we have been hurt. I think it is pulling a random federal government program out of their pocket to say about the Central American minors program of people that can apply, but when you talk to Wes today. They understand this to if you apply your part of the 1.2 billion. Good luck will get you care if if you can get across the border illegally you hear and they're letting you wait there Natalie say figured out there putting your places to figure out so that they pick you away from the border. The covert issue seems that matter to this group in Washington DC. Would we know that that's a serious problem with with these migrants and with these communities and of course the bigger issue is the crime is the mess. It is a flawed humanitarian crisis that becomes a crisis for not just people of the southern border. These numbers are out of control and but they try to control it by not let you see the imagery not letting you see what's really going on salary of said lawyers there for people I don't wear their cases and the people suitcases would be going on today are probably years old at this point. Oh yeah, no question. I wanted to commitment in here before we go to our break-in and asked for personal request and that is us in prayer rosters prayer for my brother Scott who has his burial with the covert hospitalize very serious condition and I would encourage you that are listening to this broadcast watching other social media platforms to pray for my brother Scott in Atlanta at seven very serious situation. Obviously our entire family is very concerned but I know the prayers of God's people make a difference and I just wanted take a moment here to encourage you to pray for Scott. He's in really serious situation with severe severe covert and everybody in this essay. This protect yourself from this disease not to get into the particulars of what you do or don't. I got vaccinated that's what I did but I'm telling you just protect yourself because I'm experiencing it firsthand my brother 55 years old is a daughter and a wife.

Pray for Scott, don't put comments in the in the comment page about what your your Vista tummy praying. That's all I want. Like the American Center for law and justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate will be managed $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 can make a difference in the one who knew protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you and your family. Give a gift today online ACLJ keeping you informed and engaged. Now, this is Jordan secular Sankyo. I suggested by Pompeo centerpiece of ACLJ that are about the rising crime in our country. These issues are all connected. Obviously the border crisis. The people not go to work people unemployed, hopelessness crisis, the illegal immigration we been talking about the pandemic on top of you at all this together. It's a perfect storm for for criminals. They utilize the situations they actually look forward to the situations where you have breakdowns at the border or breakdowns with law enforcement breakdowns with policing at work or just overwhelming that that's their perfect storm. With these are overwhelmed people are distracted when you're looking the other way. Criminal elements take advantage and you see that on a mass scale reports every single day. It doesn't really matter where you live in the country you see these numbers it it it it it's kinda based on where you live.

So where you might be someone who lives in a major city that has cried consistently. We are still see a spike yesterday be someone who elicits us a smaller town." Your C cry that you never seen before. So it's it's it's it's it's it's relative to where you are but is it it's increasing it's becoming more extreme or the situations feel like I get a little bit out of control that they will try sometimes say was the summer workers try to focus right now, getting back to normalcy for the fall for school so because if kids can get back to school.

Parents get back to work and on the same kind of concerns what to do with their children and of course the. The idea that they will you know how to get back had opened the schools with its fights with teachers unions or school districts fighting with state-level programs.

Just think it has to be clear, these are all real problems in the Seleucids for some of these problems were in place. It did me that there wasn't a problem at the border did me. There was a crisis, there was a reason to build a wall there was a reason to have these two have remained in Mexico there was a reason to incentivize Mexico to stop these border crossers to take a listen to this is that something that you can see a lot of like MSNBC or the left from Jude Saki by 14 with also instituted a number of additional steps recently including expedited removals to move people out of the country more quickly, but it's a into it were still at work on and improving a process and in preventing a system that was very broken when we took off one of those that the expedited removal that she's talking about was in place when they came into office they broke the system they broke a system that was using creative and new ways going about working with those countries. There they make a big deal about diplomacy was a trip of industries you came up with plans with these countries put into it to incentivize this, the militaries of those countries to secure the border to do some these migrants are coming at Central America that they have to go through Mexico Mexico as a military they have a policing now you have you got to kind of incentivize it to get it done because if there's a lot of other issues are dealing with two so we did that and things are starting to get better you undo that and you start incentivizing coming illegally. Whether these their word they say don't matter. So now they're back to expedited removals and trying to utilize parts of the law on spreading disease to trot, but these were all all in place when they came into office. They ended the band dinner and we only a minute here Ben Denham and it's almost like it's just a knee-jerk reaction to anything the former administration did.

Yes, the President found that it is wrong per se. No question about whether it was valid. Whether you examine it and see that it was working.

Whether you see that it was a policy that was perfect in the United States protecting our border. It was President from good dented and it had to be wrong and we have to undo it at the way the left is thinking frightful to come back by Pompeo rejoining assignment history piece. I go to face OJ known about the rising crime in our country and all of this place together the pandemic closes not be able to get back to work that baby back to school. The border crisis defund the police movement to put that altogether. And you've got the perfect store criminal elements take advantage of the situations in the facts of what is actually going on. We write back on second the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. All comes together in the rise of violent crime. It is Isaac Slade happens whether you are in a smaller city or major city.

The numbers that you might have been normal for your city to have to deal with have spiked that they are out of control and shall receive just outrageous acts of crime people just walking out of stores and say what don't even try to stop there because not worth try to stop them or that the mass amount of hopelessness our country that leads to crime leads to drugs… Over the issues the border crisis, pandemic issues, people not going back to work or losing their their work and not so that leaves the homelessness issue for secretary state by Pompeo Senior Counsel for global affairs ACLJ got a new piece of going to ACLJ.org. This afternoon Scott we can no longer ignore rising crime in America.

I secretary Pompeo thinks rejoice.

We know that this is not a normal summer spike as the administration may try to spin it. This is something that we've seen over the last year to have as people are dealing with the pandemic. The defund the police movements it started to show what those policies mean when you when you don't support policing in communities and you allow your border to go out of control people are back to work during their next job there connecting all the very strength of what they create violent and it is not a summer spike is going to continue to be a problem in your your right, not just in our big cities, but I was in my homestead. Again, not just a few weeks back talking to some of the senior police officers. They can't get people to sign up. People are retiring the recruiting classes are smaller when you denigrate the very people who are charged with keeping public safety, protecting each and every one of us in our homes.

You you drive it up you you will type your people willing to take the risk to actually do the hard work to defend and secure freedom all across America. When you denigrate these people and then you in the second thing it was real costly demonstration is beginning to do things that feel like catch and release right not no longer actually processing these claims against people conducting violent crime that this is happening all across America. It will cook families at increased risk and we can't allow this to happen like you point out in your piece. The 25 major cities in the United States have already started their significant cuts, or proposing major cuts in police budget moment I was in an area of North Carolina that is beautiful area that the state North Carolina, Asheville, North Carolina, where they had a lot of talk about the cutting the police and in dismantling the policing crime has increased across the country in these 10 Eastern not major cities. These are these are tourist destinations so this anti-police move that the left is pushing is having real consequences and by the way those consequences Mike on Republicans, Democrats, independence, people not involved citizens people noncitizens if you're there you can be subject to the violence (comment that my company about problems that he got used to be. They would call me up around the world think it's safe to go there thought it might happen.

Special input method acting like travel to New York or to Washington DC or to North Carolina wherever it may be the safest thing the images on TV.

We've seen this before in America was clean where the left has attacked those who were trying to defend and secure freedom and weekly Permit People just like the rising up about what's happening in our schools. They need to rise up. And J.

We always notice to the communities most adversely impacted the communities with the least resources right so will will think with the highlighted pictures from a particular nightlight but in the end this violence in the drugs and the hopelessness always come to attack the families who can least the Lord.

This violence week we who are conservative believe in property rights and the protection of liberty in life we need to make sure that we are doing all the work we need to protect everyone and ended all away, even in those difficult days of the most rewrite this. Most people in our society are often the victims of these and and that's it's tragic and if the in the inner cities that have enough trouble as it is this just seems to complicate it worse is almost like defund the police. The idea and secretary Pompeo to some extent those advocates of that out while they might not of actually some places put this into practice. Some didn't. But the idea we your time is it it people don't want to take those positions anymore.

It was already putting your your your life in in jeopardy took to protect your fellow citizens, but the week we've now demonized that position and if so whether you actually defund the police are not the police had the money to hire but can't find people. It it it works the same way because you have taken out a pool of people who say you know what, that's that I'm knocking to deal with the regular crime and also having no support from the from the city of the state's community had to admit your idea that right when you begin to say that the Second Amendment doesn't permit people to bear arms when you defund the police when you start attacking faith communities as well have always been in some of the most vulnerable populations right there church there.

The place that the community gathered is always been a place of safety, and even when you begin to undermine that and pull out the essential and you are systemically building the conditions for violence and crime.

Your reporting it. Young kids will see that this may be their only way to take care of themselves to be joined a gang or become part of a crime group things that create the conditions that are difficult to get back, we need mayors County commissioners leaders all across America, even in these large urban blight starkly elected Democrats to understand that the people are being harmed by this violence, and the idea that you can undermine law-enforcement's cataclysm really dangerous for the most vulnerable population. We were talking earlier the broadcasts about the situation on the border which is in record numbers of of of of illegal immigration right now and the number of encounters is breathtaking but yet you're talking about crime this whole situation on the border does not help our crime situation in the United States, and arts and did not detect that there is out in California. We all talked about this in a field.

The good work on this as well. They are transporting these people all across America.

The drop in the medic committee with which they are not familiar, and not just a virus that they may be caring they may have come from backgrounds where violence was the norm and so the risk of increased crime is dramatic. I'm not also as we look at this. Some nights we try to look at notches. Here's the problem.

The point to solutions and use run from the CIA you are Secretary of State been a member of the United States Congress. I mean, you know solutions. As we look at the crime situation and this is it's everything from the because of the attitude going on politically. What do you think is the number one priority that needs to be put in place to curb this, we need to make sure that our law enforcement officers are support aborted and that art art district Attorney for prosecutors around this country are empowered and that we find the tools, the judicial and resources to make sure that these criminals are being really the napping return to the street. The recidivism rate have to go down and we need to make sure that we are actually prosecuting these criminals to the full extent of the law, but they are not permitted to plan the most vulnerable, which goes back to basically the idea that the criminal justice system needs also to not only prevent crime, but be a deterrent from future crimes. It's like it's really criminal justice 101 early and there's not an original thought or we by the way we in America know how to do this week that in this place before, and Democrat administrations allowed our cities to run while we been in this place before we know how to get back from that. It is a deterrence model and a support model in these most vulnerable communities that can drive down crime and make sure that we are all protected… This is this. We just can't decide if it's Cory, but she's part of the squad congressman from Missouri she's I got a lot of security. She supports defund the police.

She's trying to explain away. Now I'm not against anybody having security members of Congress elected officials for federal officials current, but in the same time.

If you call for defund the police. That is kind of sense. One thing for me and one thing for everybody else.

Take a list that she tries to explain this away step I'm going to make sure no attempt on my life too much work to do there too many people that need help right now. The meter to allow Bethel if that thing into hundred thousand and 10 1010 more dollars on it.

You know what I get to be here to do the work so suck it up and defining the police have to think we need to define the police to put that money into social safety net.

Okay, this is Mike.

This is where it get where I think were living in the land of the absurd. I know a problem with her spending 200,000. Whatever she needs super security you have security we have security well security.

Profile position. Okay that's part of it, but the vent tilted local cities and communities like they can't have security defund the police really the program to keep her safe with that would be the logical logical correlator statement at the absurd is ridiculous. That I hope the American people can hear that and understand that that is hypocrisy, Kaiser, and more importantly dangerous new piece up at ACL to be accepted and we can no longer ignore rising crime in America. Just taking effect this is just happened this statement. People are so what about all of your security. Ghosts of the protest outside the capital has lots of securities I was a saliva budget. I have no issue with that. Do not call the same type defund the police regarding again, looking yourself, why do you need that much security as a junior member of Congress, the House of Representatives, maybe because of the police maybe because you're calling for the funding of the police. Again, the hypocrisy is right back only one. A society can agree that most vulnerable invoice is, is there any hope for that culture to survive. And that's exactly what you are saying when you stand with the American Center for Law and Justice, defendant the right to life, we've created a free powerful publication offering a panoramic view of the ACLJ's battle for the unborn is called mission will show you how you are personally publication includes a look at all major ACLJ cases were fighting for the rights of pro-life activist ramifications 40 years later Planned Parenthood's role in the abortion industry and what Obama care means to serve in many ways your membership is empowering the right question for you, mission life today online ACLJ/the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad. Whether it's defending religious freedom. Protecting those who are persecuted for their faith. Uncovering corruption in the Washington bureaucracy fighting to protect life in the courts and in Congress.

The work we simply would not occur without your generous take our matching challenge make a difference in protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms most important to you.

You forgive today online ACLJ squad Washington DC they get elected to prefer the policies they get that they should have be treated the same as any other member checking his arraignment with an attacking Israel to document police yes it is again that they are elected. So they they had their right to make their positions, but that doesn't mean you can't call them out for being a hypocrite when they are taking the most hypocritical sets of Cory, but she's got a protest going on right now washer to suit up.

I'm sure if you were to member Congress. You could be on those capital steps to have your protest, but Debbie said she is a member Congress, or she can be there should but she's asked weight you wanted your concert ID for the police. You have hundreds of thousand dollars of your budget has been spit toward your own private security so you what gifts you take a list. This happened today at CBS. I'm going to make sure no attempt on my life too much work to do there too many people that need help right now. The meter to allow Bethel if that thing into hundred thousand and 10 1010 more dollars on it. You know what I get to be here to do the work so suck it up and defining the police have to think we need to define the police to put that money into social safety net. Okay, so she has a private security police department. She's telling everybody else that in the cities that don't have the funds to pay two or $300,000 or $10 net matter for security that they don't get to have theirs to Harry her policy is good for security but everybody else to mess it up. Absolute differences are what she is saying is she wishes to expose even her own constituents to a crime way to losing their life so that she can have a platform so again I do not decry the fact that she has private purity that probably makes a lot of sense but what about securing the home. The livelihoods the futures of the constituents that she represents.

At the end of the day. Her statement is incoherent. It makes no sense. But that perhaps is why she's in Congress.

I'm shocked at what she just said and I think every American should be shocked and indignant. She is saying basically that her life is more important than the people she represents your from St. Louis, which is extremely high crime rate.

Her life is more important than the six-year-old girl that was shot and killed in DC last week. Her life is more important than the mother of three who was killed in a carjacking attempt of the grandfather who was robbed and brutally beaten. I'm sorry she just said she is more important than most of the rest of us needs to be a political price for that kind of arrogance and elitism. The celebrity culture to do that forever. But then I'd elect members of Congress, but they can't say they have massive security details on them but then they tell you veils don't have as if they don't support the Second Amendment don't protect yourself all and by with them is got God's about her security has gone right but she's against all that it is to be. She's one of 435 okay sheesh she is so who should have probably security cushions outspoken. She got elected but making a huge deal out of that.

Also, while supporting defund the police is again this is is that where the Democrat party is good because if it is at some point you would think this does resonate with people to say you know what yeah I get that they have security but don't go around taking month of the police off our streets white NDIS you could you work with local law enforcement have for many decades. What's the alternative that they're talking about PPD for the police wanting to put in their you have a social safety network. Whatever that means. I have no idea what that means. In other words, when your house is being burglarized when someone is blasting into your car when someone is taking a shot at you don't call for the police call for the social safety network. The government and counsel the criminal and say you know you shouldn't be doing this. This is not right. We have to talk to you about it, but that's the that hypocrisy here is that when they are themselves the target. The first person they scream for is a policeman course and you defund the bullies and that policeman or policewoman is not going to be there so when you're going to be murdered or burglarized or shot or in some way malign so diocese the fan because I I'm trying to figure this out. Then, politically. Where is this defund the pie notes coming from the hard left of the of the Democratic Party, but then where does this make sense for the politically where does this get them a plus. I think it's incredibly shortsighted. J yes he gets them donors. Yes, it gets the ED basted writes the checks excited to guess who that is not excited about this, her constituents, her voters day if you go to the neighborhoods where people are actually losing their lives like Harry was talking about different forget attempts on her life, her client II agree with Jordan. She probably does need security. Her constituents are losing their lives and when they go into the ballot box. The next time I J I think it's gonna backfire on her and others who are supporting his policies. They're going to get the funding they're going to get the check from that type of base when it comes down to voters JI think this is extremely shortsighted. I drawing such that it such a nonstarter that it's pure politics is no doubt about that was a Congress who have been adopted their whole life into putting for these policies so there's only a handful of that. That's why there is a squad that will actually go out and say these extreme things try to defend their extreme records, but somewhat taught that this Harry. This is not new is the kind of the pit of his. They should in rehab and in real time of the radical left indoctrination that it stuck with it.

You know a lot of people to go to school it's Kelly okay one thing with the professor move on to to life.

This stuck with that. They became their actress. I don't think that they are art that did not.

They don't not just saying this I think they believe it absolutely so they believe.

Essentially, every power structure in the United States every sense of order in the United States deserves to be destroyed, including the Constitution, including the rule of law, but at the end of the day.

I think it will backfire because what that means long term is that the nation will face suicide. And guess who will be on the firing line. It will be those politicians so if you go to San Francisco if you go to many other cities, you find that individuals are going into stores they are loading in front of the state of the store security, no consequences, and if indeed these individuals are being apprehended. You have prosecutors who refuse to prosecute them they will make up excuses these people are desperate so if there desperate.

Guess what, this means that the rest of us have to have our lives put at risk so that these politicians can grandstand in front of the nation's capital. But Harry would you just said is actually right.

This is grandstanding. This is this is political theater is political rhetoric. The problem is it's a dangerous consequence because I go back to what Amy and I were just talking about if you take away the police say the police don't need better training of course that's been very clear but to eliminate the police that defund the police as the mantra that split the statement defund the police really will. The alternative is pretty bleak and pretty blankets, dismal in my viewing a policeman or policewoman comes into the room. You stand up you stand up and instead of the font that you defend them.

You show the respect for law enforcement that they deserve you trying them but you respect them because they're out there every day doing the job of protecting you. They've got that gun in their holster and they're the ones that are on the line and their lives that stand between you and the criminal you better wake up and realize that when you talk about this nonsense of defunding the police think about you may be next folks I heard you go to ACLJ.org this afternoon. My company was due piece we can no longer ignore rising crime in America will be up to that with your friends and family. We always encourage you can always go back to these broadcasts to all discussion today started with a price that the border to the crime scene all across the country and all those issues facing solutions art that difficult.

You direct placement of political will that talk you tomorrow at the American Center for Law and Justice were engaged in critical issues at home and abroad for limited time you can participate in the ACLJ matching challenge for every dollar you donate, it will be now $10 gift becomes $20, $50 gift becomes 100 you can make a difference in the world protecting the constitutional and religious freedoms are most important to you and your family.
