The Signs of the Times & the Beginning of the End

The return of Jesus Christ is a major doctrine in the Word of God, mentioned over 1,200 times in the Bible. Jesus prophesied the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem, which was fulfilled 40 years later by the Roman army under Titus. He also spoke of the signs of the end of the age, including deceptions of counterfeit Christs, divisions of continuing conflicts, disasters of cataclysmic consequence, defamation of committed Christians, distortion of Christless cults, disposition of carnal coldness, and discharge of Christ's commission. These signs are the beginning of birth pains, and Jesus can come at any moment. The wise thing to do is to give one's heart to Jesus Christ, trusting in His love and promise of salvation.
