Write it down, memorize it, meditate on it, that’s 1:21… Philippians 1:21. Writing from prison, Paul writes the epistle of joy, he sums up his life statement by saying, “For me to live is Christ, to die is gain.” Paul wanted to know Christ (Philippians 3:10). This was his passion. Fill in the blanks in your life… For me to live is _____, to die is _____. If Christ is in that first blank, then dying is gain. Knowing Him is everything! Being with Him, intimacy with Christ, knowing Him and making Him known and if you know Christ and experience Him daily, then dying will be gain. It was for Paul, how about YOUR mission?
