A Letter From Stu Epperson, Jr. :To Our Listeners

Dear Truth Network Listeners,
In response to the recent news that the host of program The Bible Answer Man, Hank Hanegraaff, had converted to Eastern Orthodox faith, as of April 19th, 2017, Truth Network has removed the program from our broadcast lineup. While not making any statement of judgment on Mr. Hanegraaff, whom the network has known for over a decade to be a man of integrity, deep faith, and friendship, it has been determined that ongoing broadcast of the program would show tacit support for the doctrines of the Eastern Orthodox denomination.
Truth Network is guided by a statement of faith that would not be compatible with a good number of tenets of the Eastern Orthodox. Rather than to have “an uncertain sound” from the trumpet of Truth Network (1 Cor 14:8), we have made the programming change.
We will continue to love and pray for our good friends at the Christian Research Institute, and for Mr. Hanegraaff. Their friendship and support over the years will always be appreciated. Stay tuned for new and uplifting Bible teaching on Truth Network. We value our listeners, and strive to give you the very best of evangelical Bible teaching from a variety of styles and viewpoints that fit within the framework of our biblical understanding and values.
Your comments may be directed to C.O.O. andlead programmer Michael Carbone at 336-480-2038 or mcarbone@truthnetwork.com
In Christ,
Stu Epperson
